It’s time to defy gravity. Like, for real.

Almost one year since its initial projected release date, the first teaser trailer for director Alfonso Cuarón‘s Gravity has been released — and it’ll seriously make your head spin.

Starring Oscar winners George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, the sci-fi flick centers around two astronauts who — after having their shuttle destroyed during a routine spacewalk — must find a way back home before they run out of oxygen and spiral out of control into the great unknown.

In the sneak peek, Bullock is seen gasping and grasping for a safety harness as floats away from her spaceship.

Will she crash and burn — both literally in the movie and figuratively at the box office?

Only time will tell. The movie is slated to release Oct. 14.

Tom Hanks is your dad. Tom Hanks is your president. Tom Hanks is your king. According to a poll conducted by Reader’s Digest and The Wagner Group, Tom Hanks is the most trusted person in America.

What’s unclear is why people trust Tom Hanks. I mean, I guess he doesn’t seem particularly untrustworthy, but it’s just that he’s not poison testing my food or reporting the news or really performing any societal function in which my level of trust in him would be important. Granted, the sample group is only 1,000 people so it’s hardly scientific. Reader’s Digest proclaims the poll’s results to be “revealing, hopeful and sometimes shocking,” they are none of the three.

Not even the rain could stop Sandra Bullock and her son Louis from having a good day in Los Angeles.

On Monday, the Oscar-winning actress was spotted in her casual best as she picked up her 3-year-old from school. Louis, arguably one of the most adorable kids in Hollywood these days, scored extra cute points in his Superman raincoat.

Bullock, 48, will soon lend her voice to the Despicable Me spinoff, Minions, as the new villain Scarlett Overkill. It was recently announced that Jon Hamm will provide the voice for her character’s husband, Herb Overkill.

The animated flick is slated for a December 2014 release.

On the west coast, Halle Berry covered up her growing baby bump with a giant coat as she caught a flight out of Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday. The 46-year-old Oscar winner is expecting her second child — her first with fiancé Olivier Martinez.

Elsewhere, Kim Kardashian dressed up her baby bump in a stylish navy lace top and matching blazer in Beverly Hills. The reality TV star was all smiles as she enjoyed the sunny afternoon with friends.

Jessica Simpson, who is expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson, was also spotted out in West Hollywood, where she indulged in some retail therapy at Fred Segal.

Over in the Big Apple, Zac Efron showed off his fit figure in a form fitting dress shirt and jeans as he made his way to Good Morning America. Efron is currently in town to promote his next film At Any Price, set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Nickelodeon is keeping its list of A-List presenters for Saturday’s 26th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards under lock and key until its official announcement on Tuesday.

But, Celebuzz can exclusively report ahead of the announcement that Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, Miss Congeniality’s own Sandra Bullock and Saturday Night Live alum Kristen Wiig will be joining the awards show as presenters/ possible sliming victims.

As you’ve already probably heard, Safe Haven star Josh Duhamel is hosting this year’s live festivities. Plus, Pitbull will perform “Feel This Moment” with Christina Aguilera and “C’Mon” with Ke$ha.

Wedding bells will be ringing in less than two weeks for the man who once broke Sandra Bullock’s heart.

Celebuzz can confirm that Jesse James is set to tie the knot with his girlfriend of less than one year Alexis DeJoria on Mar. 24.

DeJoria, 35, is a drag racer and daughter of John Paul DeJoria, a billionaire and co-founder of the Paul Mitchell hair empire and founding partner of the House of Blues chain.

James’ last high profile relationship was with tattoo artist and TV personality Kat Von D. The two had an on-and-off romance that included two engagements before splitting for good in September 2011. Von D is now engaged to Joel Zimmerman, otherwise known as DJ Deadmau5.

James made huge headlines in 2010 after it was revealed that he had cheated on Bullock, his wife of nearly five years, with several women.

He later issued a public apology to the Oscar winner, saying “There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.”

Bullock filed for divorce one month later, around the same time it was confirmed that The Blind Side star had adopted a baby boy named Louis, now 3.

James, 43, has three children from two other marriages.

It obviously pays to be Sandra Bullock – because they open up the city zoo just for you.

Even although the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans was officially closed to the public on Monday, Bullock and her son Louis Bardo got VIP passes for their own private tour.

“The zoo was closed on Monday, so she must have had a private behind the scenes experience,” a zoo spokesperson confirmed to Celebuzz.

Bullock had traveled down to The Big Easy, where she has a home, to cheer on Baltimore Ravens lineman Michael Oher, who was the inspiration for her Oscar-winning movie The Blind Side.

And after the Super Bowl celebrations were over the famous actress met up with Matthew McConaughey’s wife Camila Alves and her children for their trip to the zoo on Monday.

“She comes here all the time. She is pretty low key and usually slips in and out without anyone even seeing her,” added the zoo spokesperson.

When Bullock isn’t filming, she spends much of her time in the city that holds a special place in her heart. New Orleans is where she adopted her nearly 3-year-old baby boy, who she nicknamed her “Cajun cookie.” And she’s really taken the city under her wing, including a local high school, where the actress and Alves also spent the day with their kids from the sidelines watching the band parade last November.

“Sandra pretty much adopted Warren Easton High School. She bought the marching band uniforms, she helped revamp the school’s gymnasium. She has done a lot for the school and the community as a whole. She is very loved down here and treated well by the locals.”

Bullock could be seen carrying little Louis on their private tour while walking with her sister Gesine Bullock-Prado along with her ever-present bodyguard. Alves, who only gave birth to her youngest son Livingston McConaughey a month ago, had her two children Levi McConaughey and Vida McConaughey with her during their animal adventure Feb. 4.

The mother-of-three was make-up free and dressed her post-pregnancy figure in black leggings and a long black top worn underneath a Aztec-printed sweater.

Her daughter Vida sat happily in her stroller sipping on a water bottle as she took in the sights and sounds of the zoo.

“The kids were really happy to be at the zoo and Sandra and Camila warmly greeted each other at the entrance,” an onlooker told Celebuzz.

“They were inside for over two hours and they had the run of the place because no members of the public were inside to bother them.

“Sandra’s bodyguard carried Louis and her bags at times while a few of the zoo workers inside looked on. They all seemed to be having a fun day.”

The last 24 hours have been jam packed with red carpet glamour, Sundance outings and famous family sightings.

In New York City, Jennifer Lopez was a vision in Lanvin Blanche. The 43-year-old superstar was in town for the premiere of her new action flick Parker, also staring Jason Statham.

Elsewhere in the Big Apple, Alec Baldwin braved the cold while out on a coffee run. Baldwin, 54, and his 30 Rock family are gearing up for the show’s one-hour series finale, slated to air Jan. 31.

In Sundance sightings, Amy Poehler was spotted all bundled up while waving to fans and photographers in Park City, Utah. The Golden Globes co-host was just added to the list of presenters for the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards, which will be handed out on Sunday.

Over in Hollywood, Diddy and his pals enjoyed a night out on the town. On Thursday, the 43-year-old took to Twitter to share some words of inspiration with his 9 million followers.

“Dear World, we gonna get this work today!!” he wrote.

Lopez looked stunning in a slinky eggplant-colored dress that hugged all of her world-famous curves as she talked about her experience on the set.

“He’s up there because he has such a presence and he does the action thing,” she said of Statham. “I think nobody can really mess with him right now.”

Lopez, who just finished her first-ever world tour, was most recently at the Golden Globes where she ran into her ex-fiance Ben Affleck. The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer later told Ellen DeGeneres that she was proud of him for winning Best Director at the award ceremony.

It was a family-style day of fun for funny ladies Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, who shared some laughs with their loved ones at the “Happiest Place on Earth,” an eyewitness tells Celebuzz exclusively.

“Even though it was freezing cold, Sandra still had a smile on her face!” eyewitness Bren Boddy told Celebuzz, who spotted the Oscar-winning actress at California Adventure theme park Dec. 13.

“It was so nice because she really appeared to be enjoying herself and no one was bothering her,” she added. “The fans respected her.”

Bullock, 48, and McCarthy, 42, who became close friends on the set of the forthcoming bad girl cop comedy The Heat, had their families in tow — Bullock’s 2-year-old son, Louis Bardo, and it was a double date for McCarthy with hubby Ben Falcone, who all enjoyed the holiday sights, rides and décor.

The group, who snagged front row seats to watch Brad Paisley perform at Cars Land, strolled the Magic Kingdom, while they sipped on coffee and snacked on popcorn. Little Louis even got into the magical spirit, sporting a Mickey Mouse sorcerer hat and nibbling on popcorn out of his R2D2 character bowl, as he took a load off in his stroller.

And these VIPs also got the very special treatment.

“They went on It’s A Small World together,” added another eyewitness at the theme park, who asked to remain anonymous. “They didn’t have to wait in any of the lines, with a Disney VIP host and Sandra’s trusty bodyguard escorting them right to the front of all the long lines.”

Even the co-stars didn’t skip out on enjoying some adult fun of their own, with Bullock’s bodyguard closely watching her son while she and McCarthy rode the Tower of Terror.

“Sandra and Melissa had a good scare together and a lot of laughs,” the eyewitness said.

Kim Kardashian helped good friend Jonathan Cheban celebrate his new Miami eatery Sushi MiKasa on Thursday night, along with Scott Disick, Lance Bass and Miami Heat power forward Chris Bosh.

“Such a fun dinner last night @sushimikasa congrats @jonathancheban,” Kardashian wrote on Twitter the next morning, along with snapshots of her fun evening.

Meanwhile, Kristen Bell and her growing baby bump were spotted doing some grocery shopping at Gelson’s in Los Angeles. In November, the 32-year-old actor and her fiancé Dax Shepard confirmed that they are expecting their first child in the spring.

Speaking of celebrity kids, Sandra Bullock treated her adorable son Louis with a trip to Disneyland. Bullock was joined by her The Heat co-star Melissa McCarthy and her husband Ben Falcone, as little Louis munched on popcorn from an R2D2 container.

Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock let her guard down and stripped down for a hilarious shower skit that aired Monday on Chelsea Lately.

Standing naked in a ladies’ locker room, the 48-year-old actress lectured Chelsea Handler about her job duties, saying, “Stop calling yourself the white Oprah!”

Bullock continued, “You have the responsibility to be a respectable talk show host.”

However, the insults didn’t there…

After branding Handler, 37, a “huge disappointment” to women everywhere, Bullock went on to slap the late night talk show host several times before chiding her for urinating in the showers.

“We don’t make pee-pee in the showers anymore,” Bullock said. “We make pee-pee in the potty.”

“All of this is disgusting,” she added. “This is  f***ing sick.”

The Blind Side actress has listed her Austin, TX, home for $2.5 million. The 5,663 square-foot abode, which sits on over two acres of property, is currently valued at $1.7 million.

What is included in the multi-million-dollar price tag?

The swanky crib features cathedral ceilings, sliding glass doors and a walk-in closet fit for an Oscar-winning actress like Bullock herself.

As for upgrades, Bullock’s bachelorette pad includes jetted tubs and separate showers in the bathrooms, an exercise room, a full pantry, wine cellar, separate spa and hot tub, an in-ground swimming pool, and full access to a tennis court.

Bullock currently shares the home with her two-year-old son, Louis, after her highly-publicized divorce from Monster Garage star Jesse James. She recently signed on to film a buddy cop comedy, opposite Melissa McCarthy of Bridesmaids.
