Despite enduring a rough week in London — in which he collapsed onstage before scuffling with the paparazzi, singer Justin Bieber is completely fine, according to the man who discovered him.

“There’s nothing wrong with him,” Scooter Braun told E! News. “He’s in a great place.”

The statement comes after news that the 19-year-old singer had cancelled his upcoming concert in Portugal — which Braun claims had nothing to do with the popstar.

According to Braun, who’s been managing Bieber since 2009, the cancellation happened awhile ago due technical issues.

“It has nothing to do with anything other than that,” Braun reassured. “Tell everyone Justin is good, really good.”

The cancelled show announcement follows a string of public struggles for Bieber, which all began with what he called his “worst birthday” when his celebrations at a London club were cut short by security, forcing him and his entourage to retreat back to the hotel.

After his busted fete, the “Baby” crooner was booed by fans when he was almost an two hours late to his March 4 gig at London’s O2 Arena.

During the following Thursday night performance, Bieber collpased on the floor during his “Beauty and a Beat” routine at the same venue, causing him to be rushed to a nearby care center.

Upon leaving the hospital, Bieber sparked further hoopla when he pounced on the paparazzi for snapping photos of him entering his car.

As blizzard Nemo blasts across the East Coast, Hollywood is bracing for what could be a record-breaking whiteout.

Whether its sending well-wishes to those in its path, bemoaning thwarted travel plans, or quipping about the name Nemo — he’s finally be found! — celebrities are turning to Twitter as they wrap their head around the snowstorm that threatening to wreak havoc in wake of Superstorm Sandy.

While many New Yorkers brave the snowflakes for the sake of Fashion Week — from Heidi Klum, to Michael Kors, to Peter Facinelli — others in the Tri-state area are hunkering down in the warmth of their homes, from Ashley Greene in Manhattan to Nicole “Snooki” Polizziin New Jersey.

But NYFW isn’t the only show that must go on. Justin Bieber, who is slated for double-duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend, rose bright-and-early Friday for rehearsals in NBC’s Big Apple studio. “up real early today…and now a blizzard is coming,” he tweeted. “no issue. Im Canadian.”

Don’t call Barbara Palvin the other woman.

Some two months after making headlines with Justin Bieber, thanks to a backstage photo taken around the same time the singer first called it quits with Selena Gomez, the Victoria’s Secret model is speaking out for the first time about those romance rumors.

Palvin, 19, tells Celebuzz exclusively that she and the Canadian pop star were never romantically involved, despite reports to the contrary.

“You know how the drama started — Selena retweeted the picture,” Palvin said on Saturday.

“I’m okay to talk about it because I know there’s nothing. It’s ridiculous how this got to the news.”

Palvin, who spent part of her weekend at the InStyle Beauty Lounge in Beverly Hills, Calif., representing L’Oreal, says she was just “hanging out” with Bieber, 18, during the fashion show last fall.

“That was it . . . that’s why it was so weird. They thought I caused a big drama, their break-up.”

“They,” — devoted “Jelena” fans — erupted in response to the Twitter photo, causing Palvin to clear the air.

“hey everyone. please calm down. he is all yours!!” she wrote.

Gomez, 20, also took to Twitter at the time, posting a photo of her beau, a friend and Palvin together with just an ellipses: “…”

The Hungarian stunner explained on Saturday that her run-in with Bieber was an innocent fan moment.

“I wanted to meet him real bad,” she said. “I watched his movie [Justin Bieber: Never Say Never] and I was like, ‘He’s such a cool kid, I want to meet him.’ And then when I did at the [Victoria’s Secret] show we met and of course we had a conversation and then I took the picture with him.”

Just days later the two fueled the romance fire when they were spotted catching The Lion King on Broadway. According to Palvin, it was anything but a date.

“It was my sister’s first time in New York and we so wanted to go to Broadway, but there were no more tickets,” she explained. “I just came up and was telling him, ‘My sister is here, but she’s sad because we can’t go to Broadway, no more tickets.’ And he was like, ‘Well, I can get you one.’ And his friends came . . . like six people and then me, my sister and agent. So friends.”

And as the curtain call came, so did their night on the town.

“So we were just like okay, nice to meet you, that was fun, and then bye,” she said.

But the headlines didn’t stop there.

One month later, Palvin made the news again, after tweeting a photo of herself in front of a tour bus in Florida — reportedly belonging to the Biebs. But the model says that was not only not his tour bus — they never met up in the Sunshine State.

“We didn’t hang out, that’s the funny part,” she said, laughing.

“It was so funny when I read we were hanging out in Miami and I was also wearing his t-shirt. Dude, that’s my t-shirt!” Palvin added.

“And you see the mobile homes in the back [of my Twitter photo] — when you’re shooting on location you have mobile homes to do the hair and makeup and dress. And they put everything together like that’s Bieber’s tour bus, that’s Bieber’s shirt. I was like, ‘No!’”

Palvin admits the speculation made her angry because she already has a boyfriend in her hometown.

“They [the media] gave me a real hard time with this with my boyfriend. They also put him in the press and he’s not a celebrity or anything,” she said. “Him being back home [in Hungary] with a normal life and everybody is like, ‘You’re girlfriend is dating Justin.’ It’s very hard for him.

“It made me pissed, but there’s always a dark side of this business.”

If there’s any contact with camp Bieber at all, Palvin says, it’s between her and the “Boyfriend” singer’s manager Scooter Braun.

“We don’t stay in touch. I more talk with his manager Scooter. His father is Hungarian so there is this Hungarian connection and I talk with him.”

Palvin even reached out when news broke about the photographer who was killed while following Bieber’s Ferarri on New Year’s Day.

“When I heard that the paparazzi died in L.A. I called him [Scooter] and I told him to also tell Justin that maybe this is not a good start of the year, but the rest is going to be better.

“So I’m more in contact with Scooter than with Bieber.”

With the young crooner single again after reportedly making-up — and breaking-up — for a second time with Gomez, we’ll have to wait and see who his next lucky lady will be.

One of the industry’s biggest names is conspicuously missing from the 2013 Grammy Awards nominations: Justin Bieber.

The teen pop phenom blazed charts with his third album, Believe, which has notched two top ten singles — “Boyfriend” and “As Long As You Love Me” — since hitting shelves in June. But Bieber was entirely shut out of every category in this year’s crop of nods, leaving his manager Scooter Braun less than pleased.

“This time there wont be any wise words, no excuses, I just plain DISAGREE,” Braun tweeted. “The kid deserved it. Grammy board u blew it on this one.”

“The hardest thing to do is transition, keep the train moving,” he continued. “The kid delivered. Huge succesful (sic) album, sold out tour, and won people over…this time he deserved to be recognized and I dont really have any kind nice positive things to say about a decision i dont agree with.”

Bieber’s Grammy snub comes just a few weeks after the “Beauty and a Beat” singer swept the American Music Awards, where he took home artist of the year, favorite pop/rock male artist and favorite pop/rock album. But the AMAs are voted on by fans — of which Bieber has an army — whereas the Grammys are determined by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, a committee composed of music industry professionals.

But Braun wasn’t entirely bitter on Twitter on Wednesday night following the live Grammy Awards announcement. The manager took the time to congratulate the many acclaimed artists who managed to pull in nominations. “You do deserve it. You worked hard and u earned it,” he wrote. “Just feel like so did JB. To his fans…looks like we get to stay the underdog a little longer. #BRINGIT”

Braun had something to celebrate as one of his other artist, Carly Rae Jepsen, received recognition. “Congrats to @carlyraejepsen,” he tweeted. “Thought u deserved a best new artist nom, but proud Call Me Maybe got u 2 noms. so proud of u.” Braun then ended his Twitter tirade with: “I got a lot more I can say but for now….Im gonna leave it at that. Congrats to all those who got nominated including our own CRJ.”

It was the tweet heard ’round the world.

No big deal, just Justin Bieber telling his fans last December that a song he’d heard on the radio while visiting his native Canada – Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” — was “possibly the catchiest song I’ve ever heard.” And that Twitter blast, just 84 characters long, was enough to make Jepsen famous. Well, that and a funny video that lent itself to countless imitations and parodies, along with that initial catchy tune, eventually the anthem of the summer of 2012.

And then there was Psy, the other seemingly out-of-nowhere sensation, whose tune “Gangnam Style” also had an eye-grabbing video, featuring funny scenes and you-can-do-this-too dance moves. In the space of a few weeks, the South Korean rapper has gone from zero to nearly 300 million “likes,” making his clip the most popular YouTube video of all time.

Is there a formula for using viral video and social media to become a pop star? Not necessarily; as Psy’s oddball, largely Korean-language clip proves, there’s no telling what the public will embrace. Still, there are a few concrete steps you can take. As Psy, Jepsen, and other viral stars have discovered, one of those steps is befriending Justin Bieber.

What else does it take to become a social media singing star? Here are some of the steps.

1. Be original. “There’s no formula,” Hollywood Reporter Music Editor Shirley Halperin told Celebuzz. “Once it’s been done, there’s a challenge to find the next cool thing.” Of “Gangnam Style,” she noted, “The foreignness makes it really attractive because it’s a culture with which we’re not really familiar.” The novelty factor has been turning YouTube stars into viral hitmakers at least since OK Go’s treadmill dance on 2006′s “Here It Goes Again,” Halperin said. It worked for Jepsen, too, with “Call Me Maybe”‘s narrative clip about an endearingly awkward girl (Jepsen) trying to catch a guy’s attention, only to have him give his number to one of her male bandmates.

2. But not too original. Pop duo Karmin rose to fame on the strength of its videos of cover versions of current hits. With an eye toward what was trending in Google searches, the band’s carefully tagged videos became hits among viewers looking for familiar songs. “We were uploading originals at first,” Karmin’s Nick Noonan told Forbes. “No one was watching them.”

3. Have a Danceable Beat. Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” seems custom-built for dancefloor fun, from its almost percussive string hook to its chorus about a gal giving a guy she just met her phone number. Same with “Gangnam Style,” featuring the kind of moves that could launch a new dance craze. “When it first came out, I think the big discussion among insiders was, is it the dance or the song? The video or the music? The consensus was that it was the dance, the look, the visuals, that made it just so much fun to watch,” Halperin said. “The other thing is that it reminded me right away of MC Hammer’s ‘U Can’t Touch This.’ We forget how huge that was. The album sold 18 million copies. That and the Macarena are big records because people can dance to them. So ['Gangnam Style'] is the digital version of ‘U Can’t Touch This.’ I’ve heard a lot of dance DJs incorporate this into their mixes in cool ways. It doesn’t sound as hokey mixed with a cool beat.”

4. Get Bieber on Board. Bieber, of course, may be YouTube’s biggest musical success story. It helps that he’s had savvy management, in the form of Scooter Braun. It also helps that he’s willing to leverage his own social-media popularity to help artists he likes. For Jepsen, there was not only his epic tweet, but also an ad hoc video Bieber made of himself and girlfriend Selena Gomez lip-synching “Call Me Maybe.” And he also signed her to his Schoolboy label, run by Braun. Braun was quick to sign Psy, too, when he started breaking stateside this summer. Even Karmin got some advice from Braun, who’s been able to convince the industry that there are more Biebers out there on YouTube, waiting to be turned into lucrative hitmakers. “We got a chance to talk to Scooter Braun, Justin Bieber’s manager, and he was saying he had a hard time getting Justin Bieber signed because a lot of labels didn’t believe in views translating into sales,” Karmin manager Nils Gums told Forbes. “Now, that has actually been a proven model.” Said Halperin, “Scooter Braun, hats off to that guy for making the most of the moment. He’s like Simon Cowell.”

5. Hit the road, and hit iTunes. Granted, having 300,000,000 likes on YouTube doesn’t necessarily earn you a penny. What makes money is touring and digital downloads. Karmin used YouTube to develop an e-mail list of potential customers for iTunes singles. Psy, too, has been able to translate YouTube fame into iTunes sales. And touring, as always, is where musicians make real money, without having to give the lion’s share back to their labels. Plus, it’s where they prove to fans that they’re not just manufactured video stars. Another revenue stream likely to earn big bucks for the likes of Psy and Jepsen: licensing, as advertisers, movies, and shows like Glee seek to borrow some cool points by using their hot-right-now tunes.

6. Be good. Remember the cautionary tale of Rebecca Black. She became a viral sensation out of novelty — because no one could get over how uniquely awful the song “Friday” and its clip were. To be fair, she was a 13-year-old girl, and no one expected her to have the depth and refined talent necessary for long-term staying power. We’ll see if 26-year-old Jepsen and 34-year-old Psy have more than one hit apiece in them, depending on whether they can write more songs as good as their initial hits. It’s not even necessary to have enough good songs for a whole album, just a handful that can be released over time. Of Psy, Halperin said, “Will the guy be able to sell albums because of this fluke hit? There’s no guarantee. But it’s a singles market these days. You sell the song while it’s hot.”
