Allegedly meant to raise money for gifted journalism students, the 100th annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner seemed to be nothing more than a fashion show followed by a lot of elbow bumping between Hollywood and Washington, D.C.
And if that fashion show had an award for best dressed, it’d be a tight race…
Every year the greats descend upon our nations capital to mingle with and congratulate one another on being masters of the universe. It’s called the White House Correspondents Dinner and, if anything, this years event is just an excuse to get the cast of Scandal and Lupita Nyong’o into the same room at the same time.
Following in the footsteps of Eddie Cibrian, Jason Lewis and Gabriel Aubry, actor Scott Foley, who plays Jake Ballard on ABC’s Scandal, is featured in the Spring 2014 for Charisma brand towels and linens.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Jake Ballard [his character on Scandal] had Charisma towels,” jokes Foley in the announcement.
