Shia LaBeouf looked barely recognizable as he grabbed some coffee Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles.

The Transformers star was seen rocking a long scruffy beard and a ponytail on a nearby stoop, which he paired with a quirky-looking cardigan and jeans. The look was kind of like ’60s hippie-meets-Al Pacino in Serpico.

‘Transformers’ Producer Confirms Another Film Directed By Michael Bay, Will Be a ‘Reboot’

Out with the old, and in with the new(ish)!

In an interview with MTV’s Josh Horowitz, Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed that there is indeed a fourth film in the works, with a projected release date of summer 2014. Also, Michael Bay (who helmed the other three movies) is on board to direct. While the Transfomers franchise launched both Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox into superstardom, it is highly unlikely they will be back for this one, as di Bonaventura referred to the as-yet-untitled film as a “reboot.”

So, have they started looking for Shia’s replacement?

Not exactly. di Bonaventura said they need a story first.

“You can’t pick characters if you don’t have a story.”

Makes sense to us!

He also touches a bit about how they’ll approach it and whether or not they’ll completely start from scratch. For more on the interview, check out the video.

Bay has also confirmed the notion of a fourth Transformers flick on his official site. According to the press release, the film will hit theaters June 29, 2014.

He peered out through a single eye hole — and didn’t even remove the bag while shopping for groceries!

Shia LaBeouf added a mini dose of “aww” to his bad boy image Tuesday afternoon with an adorkable pair of glasses.

The 25-year-old actor rocked the Persol frames on the set of his new movie, The Company You Keep, in which he plays a journalist who tracks the identity of a former member of the Weather Underground. Anna Kendrick and Stanley Tucci co-star. The film is currently shooting in Vancouver, Canada.

Taking a break from filming, Shia LaBeouf and girlfriend Karolyn Pho shared a passionate kiss while on the set of his new movie, The Company You Keep, on Monday. Both were bundled up but were definitely heating up the set with their make-out session.

The couple weren’t shy about their PDA as the Transformers hunk was spotted laying a big wet one on his 22-year-old stylist girlfriend right in the middle of the set in Vancouver Canada.

Shia was first seen out with Karolyn, a stylist, back in December, after splitting with Carey Mulligan.

Last week, he was photographed filming a graduation scene for the The Company You Keep. He wore a blue graduation robe with mortarboard.

After an off-set scuffle, Shia LaBeouf is back to work. Yesterday, he was photographed grinning from ear to ear and wearing a graduation robe on the set of his upcoming movie The Company You Keep. He was seen filming a scene at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He donned in blue academic attire complete with mortarboard. Looking good, Shia!

Shia sure cleans up well. Earlier this month, the Transformers actor looked to have let himself go a bit when it comes to shaving. Shia was seen out looking super-casual as he made a coffee run in Los Angeles with his curls and beard in full disarray.

They are two of the most outspoken men in Hollywood, and despite a rumor that they had a run-in last Friday night, Shia LaBeouf stepped out in support of his shock rocker friend Thursday night.

Shia, who is directing a music video for Marilyn and is reportedly working on a documentary about him, took his girlfriend to a promotional event in Los Angeles for the singer’s upcoming album A Born Villain.

According to the New York Post, Shia had a bit of a public breakdown last week while at The Box nightclub last week.

A source for the Post says the Transformers star “exchanged terse words with a friend of Manson’s, who lunged over the table at Shia, and Shia lunged back. Security stepped in quickly and broke it up before any punches were thrown.” Security quickly jumped in before it got out of hand. The source recalls, “Two security guards led Shia out holding his hands behind his head. His girlfriend, Karolyn Pho, was clearly upset and ran down the stairs after them. Outside, he fell onto a barricade. Swearing, he picked himself up and ran off.”

Shia LaBeouf and Joe Jonas ran into each other while out and about in West Hollywood on Tuesday afternoon…well, sort of.

The Transformers actor and singer were out and about around Sunset Plaza, and walked right past each other!

Shia was still sporting his scruffy look, while Joe was more on the clean shaven side (but still had a little stubble).

The action star has really been working on growing out his hair.

A very scruffy Shia LaBeouf was spotted shopping around Los Angeles Friday.

With his wild, curly hair and facial follicles in full effect, T-shirt and skinny jeans, the Transformers: Dark of the Moon star looks more like an indie rock stud than Hollywood action star.

Shia was out shopping at a local Gelson’s market, where he stocked up on some groceries. But that wasn’t the only thing on his shopping list!

He reportedly dipped over to Best Buy to pick up a toy remote control helicopter. It seems appropriate, since he’s most famous for starring in a movie franchise based on children’s playthings. Boys and their toys, it just never gets old!

Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox looked happy and inseparable while taking a walk on the Santa Monica Promenade Thursday. The married duo spent the afternoon together shopping and eating at Houston’s Restaurant. Apparently Megan and Brian were there for over 2 hours drinking wine and talking nonstop before taking in some of the street performances outside.

This is the first time the couple has been snapped together since Shia LaBeouf revealed to Details that he and Megan hooked up while filming Transformers.

Megan’s response:

“Our family is a circle of love and strength. With every birth and every union, the circle grows. Every joy shared adds more love. Every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger,” she posted on her Facebook page July 1.

He’s becoming notorious for putting his foot in his mouth, but on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, Shia LaBeouf had nothing but nice things to say about Selena Gomez (who has referred to Shia as her celebrity crush) and her beau Justin Bieber.

SelGo recently met Shia unexpectedly and posted the video on her website. Following their abrupt introduction, the Transformers bad boy referred to the actress/singer as a “very pretty girl” and a “very cool person.” So should the Biebs be worried? We don’t think so. Shia gushed over the teen heartthrob, telling Kimmel:

“He rolls with like a huge squad. He has to! … He’s got this presence like Buddha. He’s like the young prince.” Shia met Justin at an MTV awards show and referred to him as “super cool.” He added, “Bieber is bomb. … He’s like a 16-year-old [Frank] Sinatra … so much presence.”

The actor is currently on a press tour for the already wildly successful film sequel Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Shia invited his “weird” family to the New York premiere and got a few laughs when chatting with Kimmel about their behavior on the red carpet. Check out the video below.

US Weekly has a few tidbits to add to Shia LaBeouf‘s bomb yesterday where he confessed to Details that he hooked up with Megan Fox when they filmed Transformers.

“It was when Megan and Brian broke up,” a source tells the magazine. “They had a 10-month break before getting back together.”

It’s true, Fox even admitted to being single when on her global press tour for the second Transformers film.

“[Shia and Megan] bonded while filming,” continues US‘ insider. “Believe me, that was an unhappy set. I think they were drawn together because it was so ugly working on that film.”

Everyone knows by now Megan and director Michael Bay certainly didn’t have the smoothest relationship, making it a difficult set to work on for the actress.
