Whether it’s bottle bought or sun caught, a tan has become the ultimate year round accessory for Hollywood superstars like Donald Trump, who stopped by The View Friday looking especially orange.

But for fear of looking like New Jersey’s so-caled ‘tanorexic mom,’ Patricia Krenticil, these over-baked celebrities might want to lay off the Mystic Tan.

Earlier today, the Jersey Shore “guidette,” who is due in September, graced the cover of InTouch Weekly where she annouced the sex of her baby with fiance, Jionni LaValle. Snooki admits that she was secretly hoping for a girl sharing, “I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls. It’s still my baby, no matter what. I’m excited either way!”

Now that she knows the baby’s sex, what does the 24-year-old-mom-to-be plan on naming him? Snooki also admitted that she’s deciding between two traditional Italian names — Lorenzo and Jionni Jr.

Yesterday, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi announced that, after much speculation, she and fiance Jionni LaValle are expecting a baby boy together this September. According to InTouch Weekly, the engaged couple is deciding between two names — Lorenzo and Jionni Jr.

In honor of Snooki’s exciting announcement, we pulled together some of her best looks since she first announced her pregnancy, in March. Snooki added she’s deciding between two traditional Italian names — Lorenzo and Jionni Jr. She also admits she was secretly hoping to have a girl, and not a boy.

Snooki confirmed her pregnancy in March, on the cover of US Weekly. At the time, she also revealed that she is engaged to LaValle.

“I want to wear, like, leopard shoes and a leopard gown — like the hospital gowns that they have. I think that would be cute,” she said.

Well, now, the 24-year-old mom-to-be is saying that she wants to stay trendy right up until she gives birth. In fact, as Snooki told Celebuzz exclusively, she’s considering wearing leopard in the delivery room.

“I want to wear, like, leopard shoes and a leopard gown — like the hospital gowns that they have. I think that would be cute,” she said last week while promoting her new book, Gorilla Beach.

But what about her nursery?

Depending on the sex of her child, Snooki added that she also wants to add a little animal print to her nursery.

“If it’s a boy, it’s gonna be maybe something Disney or safari. If I have a girl, it’s going to obviously be animal print — zebra, leopard and pink,” she said.

Last week, Snooki — whose real name is Nicole Polizzi — gave Celebuzz the inside scoop on why she wanted to write a sequel to her New York Times bestselling book, A Shore Thing (“I would love to write as many books as a I can,” she revealed) and what fans can expect from next season of Jersey Shore, which she is set to be a part of, despite being with child.

“We’re still working that out. I don’t know where I’m gonna be living, or my involvement, just because I’m pregnant and I want to be as healthy as possible with it. But I couldn’t picture myself not being a part of it.”

Whatever happens, one thing is clear: Snooki will not follow the trend of crazy celebrity baby names.

“I definitely want something normal, like a traditional, Italian — a nice name,” she told Celebuzz exclusively.

Snooki confirmed she is pregnant and engaged to her baby daddy, Jionni Lavalle, in March. In addition to Jersey Shore, she will also star opposite real-life BFF Jenni “JWowww” Farley in a new spinoff for MTV, premiering Thursday, June 21 at 10PM.

In the photo, Snooki — who confirmed she is pregnant with her first child in March — is seen lying on her back on a couch, with the caption, “Chillen [sic] with my growing baby.” Naturally, she’s also decked out in leopard in the photo, because, well, why wouldn’t she be?

“I would love to write as many books as a I can. I definitely wanted to do a sequel to A Shore Thing, so Gorilla Beach was perfect.”

With a baby on the way, Snooki also said she’s open to writing a children’s book.

“That would probably be really easy to do, so I would probably love to do love that. [Laughs] Maybe like a Crocodilly book or something,” she quipped.

With stars like Jessica Alba, Paris Hilton, and more A-listers staying sun-kissed all year long, bronzed skin is perceived as more attractive, leading many people to head to the tanning salon to achieve that natural glow.

But is Hollywood really to blame for America’s tanning obsession?

“To quote Coco Chanel, ‘You can never be too rich, too thin or too tan.’ She said it best, and I think that still holds true in modern day,” said Veronique Munro, Founder and CEO of Infinity Sun.

She quickly added: “Anything in excess is potentially dangerous and unhealthy, but by combining UV and Infinity Sun spray tanning, consumers will be able to achieve a safe, deep and healthy tan year round.”

Among those who appear tanning obsessed: the media proclaimed tanorexic mom Patricia Krenticil, who made headlines after she allegedly let her 5-year-old daughter suffer second-degree burns by placing her in a tanning booth. The woman’s excessive tanning even got a strong reaction from (a very bronzed!) Snooki, who told EXTRA‘s Mario Lopez:

“That b*** is crazy… you are not supposed to take kids there. Everyone knows you are NOT supposed to take kids there.”

Patricia bit back, telling TMZ of the reality star (of whom she referred to as Snoopy), saying, “She’s the biggest a**hole in the world. She’s fake, she’s fat, her t*ts are fake, she’s disgusting.”

Last year, Deborah S. Sarnoff, MD, senior vice president of the Skin Cancer Foundation, sat down for a tanning intervention with the Shore cast, but it is not known whether or not the reality stars have kept their promise to switch to artificial spray tanners to achieve their bronzed look.

While Snooki and the gang are no strangers to Saturday Night Live‘s antics, the tanorexic mom also got burned this weekend! Kristen Wiig impersonated the too-tan parent on Weekend Update. Patricia responded to the spoof, telling the New York Post, “It was well done,” adding “the whole thing was hysterical.”

Jersey Shore‘s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi recently took to Twitter to show off her growing baby bump, which seemed to have ballooned overnight. Sporting a neon pink top and a noticeably bigger belly, the 24-year-old jokingly tweeted:

“OMG I finally sprouted a bump!”

Of course, Snooki’s huge baby belly is an innocent joke — the pint-sized guidette had only announced her pregnancy two months ago.

“I feel very good,” she told Celebuzz of the pregnancy in April. “I’m not getting sick at all — just a little tired sometimes, but I don’t even feel pregnant.”

“As of this point, I have no interest in going to a club, because my life’s totally changing,” she added. “And I’ve been going to the club since I was, like, 10.”

Snooki is currently expecting her first child with fiance Jionni LaValle, whom she told us is going to be a “great dad.”

During an interview on Thursday to promote her and JWoww’s new spin-off, Snooki & JWoww, the 24-year-old gave a little insight into what life is now like for the mom-to-be, admitting she has “no interest” in clubbing next season.

“As of this point, I have no interest in going to a club, because my life’s totally changing,” she said. “And I’ve been going to the club since I was, like, 10.”

Indeed, Snooki, who revealed that her priorities have changed since getting pregnant, appears to be focused on her future as a mom, all of which she says is going well thus far.

In an exclusive interview with Celebuzz, Vinny 24, revealed how he reacted when he found out the big news, admitting that, like the rest of the world, he didn’t see it coming.

“I didn’t expect it. But, obviously, I’m not going to hate on her. This is real-life stuff,” he said.

Vinny — who is busy promoting his new book, Control The Crazy: My Plan to Stop Stressing, Avoid Drama and Maintain Inner Cool — also praised his 24-year-old roommate’s “super-human” ability to anything — which is why he ultimately thinks Snooki will be a good mother.

“She can do extraordinary things,” he said. “In a party way, she can drink more than anyone I’ve ever met; she can stay up for longer periods of time. She’s super-human. If she applies that to her parenting, I think she’ll actually be a good mom.”

“She’s like a human I’ve never encountered before,” he added. High praise, indeed!

Meanwhile, Vinny is also opening up about his battle with chronic anxiety and depression, which caused him to briefly leave the show while filming season 5 last summer, in his new book (on stands now).

In the book, he also reveals some of the tips he’s learned along the way, including how to pick up women and, of course, how to recover from that killer hangover.

“I have generalized anxiety disorder,” he told Celebuzz. “It can be a panic attack. But what really bothers me, like you saw on the TV show, is, it can put me in a funk. It kind of disconnects me from everything around me. It’s just like a general depressed feeling.”

Exacerbating those feelings, Vinny says, was the Jersey Shore house’s constant party atmosphere.

“People who might say, ‘Oh, all you do is party and have fun; how can that make you anxious?’ don’t get it,” he said. “We’re kind of stuck in a little bubble, and you don’t want to be stuck when you have anxiety. You want to have your friends and family around. You definitely don’t want to be on camera 24 hours a day.”

“You start to feel inadequate,” he continued. “Everybody else is having a good time and you’re like, ‘Damn. What’s wrong with me?’ It makes it worse. I had already made it through four seasons fine, so I was more upset with myself.”

Vinny, of course, wasn’t the only Jersey Shore cast member to suffer problems during the show’s five-season history; his roommate, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, recently completed a stint in rehab for prescription drugs — a problem Vinny says he never saw coming.

“He was just being Mike,” he said of the, uh, situation. “I had no idea — honestly. That’s his personality. I never say anything.”

Despite Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi being with child, it looks like it isn’t stopping the pint-sized reality star from wearing high-heels — at least for now.

The pregnant Jersey Shore star tweeted a photo of her “best accessory for today” — a pair of studded heels — on Tuesday, declaring: “My feet aren’t swelling yet so I’m still enjoying all my shoes.”

Snooki, 24, — who posted a photo of her, um, interesting shoe collection last week — also took time to answer fan questions related to her pregnancy cravings.

“I’m craving a lot of fruits! No fatty foods wohoo! [sic] … I love being pregnant!” she said.

“I love grapes,” she added, eloquently.

Snooki confirmed she is pregnant with her first child last month. At the time, she also confirmed that she is engaged to her baby daddy, Jionni LaValle.
