James Franco has millions of fans around the world, but not many live in his quiet Silver Lake street in Los Angeles.

Local residents are up in arms that the Oscar-nominated actor leaves out his trash, takes up all the parking spaces and makes a ton of noise.

“Quite honestly, it’s time that James Franco either shapes up or moves out,” his neighbor Daniel Galindo told Celebuzz.

Galindo and his fellow residents were pleased when they heard the talented actor, 34, had purchased the circa 1923 hillside duplex — once owned by Mad Men costume designer Jane Bryant – on their quiet street.

But the Spring Breakers star has seldom been seen at the quaint residence that has now become an active office for his Rabbit Bandini production company.

And the situation has gone from bad to worse in recent weeks with fears growing that somebody could get hurt with all the trucks zooming up and down the narrow and winding streets adjacent to the property.

Business owner Galindo, who says he made a formal complaint to the Los Angeles Housing Department, believes the time has now come for the actor to take more responsibility for the alleged disruptions.

“My brother nearly got involved in a head-on crash with one of the trucks today and there are little kids who live here that are in danger too,” he said.

“If I could speak to James Franco I would ask him to stop using this property as a production and filming location because this is a residential area,” added Galindo. “Let’s face it, he could easily afford a more suitable commercial location. The guy’s a big star.”

Several other residents have complained to the authorities, who have promised to investigate the situation.

Upon reaching out to Film L.A., Franco’s production company did apply for a one day shooting permit on Jan. 6, to film a television pilot and the residents should have been informed.

But Galindo says his neighbors were never notified about any filming and that the house is actively being used for screen tests and other production-related activities without the proper paperwork.

He also says Los Angeles mayoral candidate Eric Garcetti, who lives in the neighborhood, spoke to production staff outside the property in recent weeks complaining about the situation.

“He [Garcetti] wasn’t pleased,” Galindo said. “Nobody is. There have been days when I could not get my car out of my own driveway because of the trucks and other vehicles.”

A rep for Garcetti didn’t return a request for comment.

Galindo adds it’s nothing personal against the actor. It all simply comes down to neighbors being neighborly.

“I have nothing against James Franco personally, but I feel that he and his team have been irresponsible with their use of the property and it needs to stop sooner rather than later.”

Titled “$$$ex,” the freshly released track is produced by Rock Mafia — the masterminds behind Miley Cyrus‘ “Can’t Be Tamed” and Selena Gomez‘s “Love You Like a Love Song” — and is said to be inspired by Hudgens’ latest film, Spring Breakers.

With lyrics about “hot sex” and keeping condoms in wallets, there’s no doubt fans of the former Disney starlet’s work are in for a shock.

“It’s been a while since I’ve released a track, so I’m so excited to share this with y’all,” the 24-year-old shared on her blog.

The Croods enjoyed a healthy opening weekend, grossing some $44.7 million domestically, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The latest from DreamWorks Animation, starring the voices of Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone and Nicholas Cage, also made $63.3 million worldwide. To date, Shrek the Third remains as the champion of first weekend openers from the studio, with more than $121.6 million in ticket sales when it was released in 2007.

Gerard Butler’s action film Olympus Has Fallen grossed $30.5 million for second place, while Oz The Great and Powerfuldropped to third place with $22 million, after two consecutive weekends on top.

Newcomer Admission, starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, grossed a mere $6.4 million, behind Halle Berry’s The Call ($8.7 million) to round out the top five.

Spring Breakers’ expansion earned the film $5 million, bringing its grand total to $5.4 million, while Identity Thief continued to hold on with another $2.5 million.

The Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy comedy, which opened Feb. 8, has grossed a total of $127.7 million domestically.

Hitting theaters nationwide on March 22, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens‘ R-rated movie, Spring Breakers, is guaranteed to shock fans.

Starring alongside Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson and indie actress Rachel Korine, the two former Disney starlets embark on a journey of crazy parties as they strip — quite literally — away from their former squeaky clean image.

As seeing these girls indulge in questionable behavior may be, well, quite the surprise for their young and loyal fans, Celebuzz is breaking down what you can expect to see on the silver screen to prepare your for this adult flick.

Trust us, just like Spring Break, Spring Breakers can get pretty wet and wild.

1. Sex

Hudgens’ fans are definitely in for a shock when they see the former High School Musical star engaging in a sexy onscreen threesome, which takes place in a backyard pool, with Benson and James Franco‘s character. According to Hudgens, she was “most scared” to shoot the sex scene because she was afraid to show too much skin.

“There were like a few little portions that I was like, ‘Can we please get rid of that?’” she told MTV News, adding that director Harmony Korine was completely understanding. “It was like a great compromise. I think that it turns out really beautiful and artistic.”

2. Underage Boozing Babes

The movie centers around four college girls who rob a restaurant in order to fund their Spring Break vacation. Seeing how the legal drinking age in the States is 21, we doubt any of the characters are actual of age to be chugging tallboys in public.

3. Drugs, Drugs, Drugs

It’s no secret that the majority of the plot follows the girls as they’re taken under the wing of a drug dealer named Alien (Franco). Aside from dealing dope, the sexy Spring Breakers are also seen smoking weed and snorting coke. Mothers, lock up your daughters.

4. Gun Violence

Gun violence is also undoubtedly prominent in the movie. After being bailed out of jail by Alien, the girls get a lesson in automatic rifles. In fact, Hudgens and Benson both had some target practice before the movie was even shot.

5. Nudity

As Franco says in the trailer, “Bikinis and big booties, y’all. That’s what life is all about” — and Spring Breakers provides just that. In the movie, Korine, who’s actually the wife director Harmony Korine, whips off her bikini top in one blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment.

6. Well, Just R-Rated Things In General

You’ve got the drugs, you’ve got the booze — now bring on the sex. The movie holds no bars when it comes to what goes on between the sheets. Apart from the much-talked about threesome, a scene from the flick also depicts Hudgens playfully licking a drawing of penis. We didn’t say this movie was going to be subtle.

7. Spring Break-Worthy Tracks

You can’t party without great tunes. Spring Breakers‘ soundtrack boasts a boatload of typical songs you’d hear at at frat party, including jams from Skrillex, Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane, who also appears in the movie.

8. Bikinis

Okay, well, that’s a given.

9. Gomez Outside Her Comfort Zone

Though she plays the goody two-shoes out of the clique, Faith, in the flick, Gomez says she was still stepping her comfort zone when the cameras were rolling.

“Iʼve done my best to warn the parents and my younger fans [about the film],” she told Celebuzz. “Iʼll be 21 this year so for me itʼs been kind of refreshing and nice to step out of my comfort zone and do things that I didnʼt think I could do as an actress.”

10. Franco’s Musical Chops

In one scene, Franco gets to show off his musical talents — aside from playing a rapper — when he performs a Britney Spears ballad on a white grand piano.

Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Ashley Tisdale treated the Hollywood premiere of Spring Breakers like Fashion Week on Thursday as the former Disney tweens stepped out in stunning gowns and flirty dresses.

Gomez, 20, appeared to be saying “Justin who?” in a gorgeous red gown by Reem Acra, which she matched with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, a Jimmy Choo clutch, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Meanwhile, Hudgens got in touch with her fun side in black-and-white ensemble by Naeem Khan, adding jewels by Neil Lane for an added adult touch.

But it was arguably Tisdale — who isn’t even in the movie — who stole the whole shebang in a patterned sleeveless dress by Armani.

Also at the premiere: co-star James Franco, who looked fittingly dapper as always; and, Modern Family star Sarah Hyland; and Marilyn Manson, of all people.

Spring Breakers opens in select theaters on Friday.

Spring Breakers, the much-anticipated, R-rated drama starring Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez, finally hits theaters on Friday.

Those who regularly follow Celebuzz will know that the movie, about a group of girls whose spring break trip goes horribly wrong, features a lot of things.

Among the many: robberies; swearing; and James Franco doing his best impersonation of Kevin Federline.

But the real reason to see the movie, of course, has more to do with its female leads, who based on the trailer and on-set photos spend much of the story parading around in bikinis.

Whether that happens for the entire duration is unlikely — but there were still enough bikini-clad moments for us to compile a gallery.

With just a couple more weeks to go before Spring Breakers hits theaters, the film has unleashed new promo stills to whet the appetites of patient fans.

In one image, Selena Gomez gives her co-star Vanessa Hudgens and friendly pat as the girls pose in colorful bikinis. In another, Hudgens strips down to a baby blue bra as she frolics with some cold hard cash on a bed.

The film, also starring James Franco, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine, has been quite the talk of the town since premiering in Paris, France in February. Spring Breakers will open in limited release in New York and Los Angeles after screening at the 2013 SXSW festival this week.

“Ever since I was young, I wanted to play really heavy and intense roles and really push myself in a dramatic direction,” Hudgens, 24, recently told Paper magazine.

The High School Musical alum plays one of four college girls who decide to rob a fast food joint to pay for their spring break in the appropriately titled Spring Breakers.

“It’s always been hard for actors to cross that bridge,” Hudgens said of her tween-filled past. “But honestly, you have to hold out and do what you think is right for yourself.”

Spring Breakers opens everywhere on Mar. 29.

Vanessa Hudgens is revealing the naked truth.

In an interview with Paper magazine, the Spring Breakers star opened up about her 2007 nude photo scandal, dubbing the experience “by far the worst moment of my career.”

The actress was only 18 years old when her personal photos were leaked onto the Internet, causing a media ruckus for Hudgens, who at the time was at the peak of her High School Musical career.

“That was just a really sh***y situation that sucked,” she said about the controversy, in which she was required to issue an apology in order to stay on board for High School Musical 3.

Now, at age 24, the former Disney starlet has moved on and keeping focus on her acting projects. The actress spoke out on wanting to take edgier, more mature roles.

“Ever since I was young, I wanted to play really heavy and intense roles and really push myself in a dramatic direction,” she admitted.

Hudgens has certainly stayed true to her goal. For the upcoming thriller Frozen Ground, she will portray a drug-addicted prostitute. “I was like, ‘A prostitute! I can play a prostitute! This is going to be exciting,’” she said.

In her latest flick Spring Breakers, Hudgens co-stars alongside Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and James Franco in the raunchy, gritty indie helmed by Kids director Harmony Korine.

The film has already garnered controversy, mainly because its young stars are placed in above-and-beyond adult scenarios — a far cry from Hudgens’ (and Gomez’s) days on the Disney Channel.

“It’s always been hard for actors to cross that bridge,” she said about transitioning from the tween scene. “But honestly, you have to hold out and do what you think is right for yourself.”

While Hudgens had doubts about taking on her bikini-clad role, it was her father who helped make the final decision.

“He loved ‘Kids’ so he was really excited for the project. He didn’t read the script, but when he saw that Harmony’s name was attached to it he said, ‘That” going to be a really interesting project,’” she said.

Since her split with pop sensation Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez has stepped up her style game, trying out daring and increasingly sexy styles both on and off the red carpet.

On Wednesday, the 20-year-old flaunted her figure in a very revealing Atelier Versace pantsuit at the Spring Breakers premiere in Berlin. Complete with a see-through back and low-plunging neckline, the little black-and-gold number left little to the imagination.

The Spring Breakers love affair in Paris, France continued on Sunday with some balcony love from the cast.

Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine and Vanessa Hudgens greeted a sea of fans from a balcony at the Hotel Bristol, where they were spotted blowing kisses and making hearts with their hands.

Gomez, 20, opted for a hippie-inspired ensemble while Hudgens, 24, was a vision in blue. Korine, 26, donned an LBD as Benson matched her light blue pencil skirt with a white top.

Just the day before, the ladies were spotted indulging in some retail therapy at some of Paris’ hottest stores, before heading out to dinner.

On her way out of a store, Benson, 23, snapped a quick video of the fans waiting on the streets of Paris and posted the moment on Keek.

“Woha ….” she wrote as the video’s only caption.

The French premiere of Spring Breakers is on Monday. The film opens in the U.S. Mar. 22.

On Saturday, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson landed in Paris, France, ahead of the French premiere of their new film.

One of their first stops? Shopping, of course.

The trio was spotted hitting up popular department store Printemps — which coincidentally, means “spring” in French.

“Bonjour Paris. Spring break is here ;)!” Gomez, 20, wrote on Twitter, along with a snapshot of the girls posing with a tiny Eiffel Tower in the background.

“I’m in love with Paris,” echoed Benson, 23.

Spring Breakers, also starring James Franco, Glee’s Heather Morris and Rachel Korine, opens in the U.S. on Mar. 22.

The former Disney star seductively graced Nylon Magazine’s February issue, donning a black cap, blue basket weave basketball-inspired jersey by designer Jeremy Scott with an itsy-bitsy bikini underneath.

The 20-year-old starlet has grown accustomed to the comfort of a two-piece swimsuit. She did, after all, prance around in a skimpy bathing suit as she channeled her wild side for her upcoming flick Spring Breakers, also starring her close pals Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson.

“It was always us four girls. We’d go to our favorite restaurants, we’d go to the movies — Ashley and I saw The Hunger Games. We went shopping, we went on boat rides, we slept over in each other’s hotel rooms. It was really fun!” she told the magazine.

The actress-singer also opened up about her tight friendship with Taylor Swift.

“We both experienced the same things at the same time. But we’ve never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I’d go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It’s so hard to trust girls, so I’m lucky to have her,” she explained.

In the rest of the photo shoot, Gomez flaunted her signature sweet style, playing it cool in a range of eye-catching ensembles, which included patterned jackets and a pale pink frock.

Despite her recent split with ex Justin Bieber, Gomez isn’t letting heartbreak stop her from having a little fun. Last Sunday, she took a glamorous turn in a shimmery gold Atelier Versace frock at the Golden Globes after parties, even reportedly sparking a new romance with Josh Hutcherson.

“I’m having fun,” she said about her love life. (via Us Weekly) “At the end of the day, love is such a normal thing, and everyone deals with it. Just because it’s a different lifestyle doesn’t change the meaning of what I’ve been raised on, which is fairy tales.”

Apparently, what happens on the set of Spring Breakers doesn’t stay secret for very long.

James Franco, 34, is reportedly dating his pretty little co-star, Ashley Benson, 22, reports E! News. The Oscar-nominated actor and the Pretty Little Liars star met on the set of their indie film, Spring Breakers. The two share more than a few compromising scenes in the sexy, drug-fueled flick.

The two were spotted together in New York’s Washington Square Park and, days later, holding hands at Los Angeles’ Haunted Hayride, according to the New York Post.

Not everyone may be happy about the relationship. Benson’s behind-the-scenes romance with Franco may have caused a rift with her BFF and co-star, Selena Gomez.

Before dating Franco, the TV starlet was romantically linked to Ryan Good, a good friend of Gomez beau Justin Bieber.

When Emma Roberts reportedly dropped out of Spring Breakers because she didn’t want to gain weight, the former Disney star was reportedly influential in getting her BFF Benson cast in the part, according to Radar Online.

Now it looks like the Pretty Little Liar may have burned a bridge with Gomez after dumping Good for Franco.

Celebuzz caught up with the young starlet at Variety‘s 6th Annual Power of Youth event on Saturday and had to ask:

Who was the biggest jokester on the set of Spring Breakers?

At first Hudgens hesitated on spilling the juice, but then she confessed (giggling):

“Probably me and Ashley [Benson].”

In case you don’t already know, Spring Breakers is her upcoming flick —  alongside the aforementioned Hollywood stunners and Freaks and Geeks actor James Franco — about four college girls and the trouble they get into after robbing a restaurant, just for the sake of having an awesome spring break.

Scandal, sass, and sex appeal. Something to definitely keep an eye peeled for — hitting theaters in 2013.

But Hudgens’ character in the film is not to be confused with her real-life persona.

The girlfriend of actor Austin Butler, 21, showed her philanthropic side at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, Calif. – representing Make-a-Wish Organization at the Power of Youth event.

With great pride, she explained, “they grant children wishes who have life-threatening medical conditions.”

‘I love it,” she gushed.
