It appears as though George Clooney‘s ex, Elisabetta Canalis, has found herself a new man in the form of Jackass star Steve-O. The duo (who both competed on Dancing With the Stars on different seasons) have been spotted around LA together recently, but were seen making out on Monday afternoon as they ran some errands together.

They wouldn’t be the first couple that had people scratching their heads.

From Twilight‘s Nikki Reed and her American Idol alum hubby Paul McDonald to Friends‘ star Matthew Perry and Mean Girls‘ Lizzy Caplan, we’ve broken down Hollywood’s most unexpected pairings.

Critics and fans alike will agree that this third installment of the Jackass saga marks a great leap forward. Most people probably thought that it would be impossible to increase the gross-out potential of Port-a-Potty stunts, but clearly, they lack the visionary scope of the Jackass gang.

The Dancing With the Stars alum appears on Lopez Tonight this Tuesday to throw his support behind current Dancing With the Stars participant Kate Gosselin in the only way he knows how: By stapling things to various parts of his body. Including his family jewels.

We’re assuming that last bit is an homage to the thorough emasculation Kate subjected her ex-husband Jon Gosselin to on Jon & Kate Plus 8.

Warning: The following video is incredibly painful to watch. Perhaps not as painful a viewing Kate’s performances on Dancing With the Stars so far, but still…consider yourselves forewarned.

In the above image, the 35-year-old comedian puckers up with his bodyguard, Reggie “Big Regg” Pace. In another, there are two Steve-O’s pictured, one in a tux and another in a wedding dress.

The now sober star thinks that Prop 8, which outlaws same-sex marriage in California, ruins the state’s image.

“I’ve always thought of California as this really awesome, liberal, great place, and it’s just such a total disappointment for the convenience of f–cking gay bashing,” he said. “It’s such a letdown that we seem to be the American capital for gay bashing.”

Celebuzz caught up with the Jackass daredevil and Dancing With the Stars contestant at the Young Hollywood Awards in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, and when the subject of Harvey Levin and TMZ came up, Steve-O (born Stephen Glover) lashed out at the gossip outlet and its figurehead.

Told that TMZ had recently opined that he had lost his comedic edge since cleaning up and getting sober, Steve-O launched into a tirade.

“Those sons of bitches. Wow. If that’s what he (Harvey Levin) thinks then that’s what he thinks,” Steve-O fumed. “If Harvey Levin is personally attacking me, I think that’s disappointing, you know. I kind of thought more highly of him than that. But it’s not my choice to really harbor resentment.”

On other matters, though, Steve-O was feeling the love. He noted that, while his DWTS stint is a thing of the past, he plans to continue delivering fancy footwork for the general public’s enjoyment.

“For me not to keep dancing would be a crime against humanity,” he noted.

Oh yeah, and that reported bromance between Steve-O and Dancing hoofer Gilles Marini? It is so totally on.

Asked who his ideal dance partner would be, Steve-O unhesitatingly replied, “Gilles Marini, he is gorgeous…he’s just dreamy.”

No wonder he doesn’t have time to hold any grudges.

The former Jackass star and rehab veteran has battled multiple injuries this season, and was shown the door, along with partner Lacey Schwimmer, after recieving a 16 out of 30, the lowest score on Monday’s show. 

Steve-O says he wouldn’t have changed things one bit. “I met a lot of challenges, I made a lot of mistakes and the fans kept me around long enough to learn from it all.”

Schwimmer had nothing but kind words for her partner, saying she’ll definitely miss his “unpredictable personality.” She told Us Weekly, “Every day you go in there, and he’s just a different personality, and you’re like, ‘Alright! What are we gonna do today?’ We had such a blast.”

Dancer Mark Ballas also spoke highly of the star, saying, “Having him backstage and around just really made everyone happy and kept us laughing. To see him go really sucks.” 

What will Steve-O do next? We’ll just have to wait and see!  

Former Jackass star Steve-O and actor Gilles Marini might be competing against each other on the eight season of Dancing With The Stars, but they only have love for each other off the dance floor.

Giles spoke kindly about his buddy when he was a guest on Friday’s The Bonnie Hunt Show, admitting, “We have a bromance…I believe that Steve-O has an amazing story to tell. It’s very inspiring for all those kids out there who are having trouble with drug additions. He made it happen. He’s a year sober, and he’s doing a fantastic show and a fantastic job turning it around.”

Marini’s partner, Cheryl Burke, confirms the friendship, saying the two are inseperable on set. “Steve-O actually came up to me and said, ‘Too bad Gilles is married,’” she told Hunt. “I’ve got a big crush on him after seeing him perform [the tango].’”

Aww. It’s nice to hear something DWTS-related that is not related to broken bones, stalkers, or bruised ribs.

But that was more than apparent during a shopping trip to the Grove in West Hollywood where Steve-O bought a new computer. Clearly he’s doing alright with the dancing gig. But do they make dancing software? Steve-O even laughs it up, allowing the waiting paps to film some of his personal pictures (Uh oh, no doubt coming to a website near you).

Clearly, the happy guy is not too worried about this week’s double elimination. The Jackass star continues to live up to the alma mater’s name tonight on DWTS.

The Dancing with the Stars contestant has injured her ribs, although E! reports that she has not broken any.

“After experiencing pain in her rib area, Holly received medical attention,” Madison’s rep stated. “While she is not suffering from a broken rib, she does continue to feel a great deal of discomfort and was prescribed pain medication.”

Madison was in the bottom two in the last DWTS elimination, but Charlie Sheen foe Denise Richards was sent on her merry way instead.

“She is committed to the show and her partner, Dmitry, and will rest when she can,” her rep continued. “She fully hopes and, at this time, expects to dance on Monday.”

Madison reportedly injured herself while rehearsing her samba.

She basically joined the club. Gilles Marini, Steve “The Woz” Wozniak and Jackass‘ Steve-O are all dancing while injured.

Madison herself replaced an injured Jewel.

Professional athletes experience less wear and tear.

The most interesting duo to watch perform will definitely be Apple co-founder and Kathy Griffin ex Steve Wozniak with professional dancer and Mario Lopez ex Karina Smirnoff.

“Woz” (as he was affectionately called by Griffin when he appeared on several episodes of My Life On The D-List) is, to put it mildly, a big guy. One stumble during a fox trot and Smirnoff could be done for.

Other interest pairs include rapper and ex-convict Lil’ Kim with Derek Hough, Jackass regular and professional eff-up Steve-O with Lacey Schwimmer, and amateur legal eagle Denise Richards with heartthrob Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

The Cloris Leachman troublemaking wackjob role this go-round should be a tie between Steve-O and comedian David Alan Grier with entertainment reporter Nancy O’Dell‘s hairspray addiction as a dark horse in the running in that category.

The season eight premiere is schedule for March 9.

This season will feature singer Jewel, crazy person Steve-O, actress Denise Richards, rapper Lil’ Kim, entertainment news anchor Nancy O’Dell, the NFL’s Lawrence Taylor, Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson, country singer Chuck Wicks, Sex and the City movie actor Gilles Marini, computer genius Steve Wozniak, Go-Gos lead singer Belinda Carlisle, comedian David Alan Grier, and bull rider (and Jewel’s husband) Ty Murray.

In a surprise absence, Vegas performer Donny Osmond was NOT one of the names announced.

Osmond recently inferred that he was joining the cast during an appearance with his sister Marie on the Bonnie Hunt show.

ABC doled out the names during their Sunday night programming in an attempt to combat CBS’s broadcast of the Grammy Awards.

They might have been worried that Donny would eventually pull a fainting spell like his sister.

Life & Style magazine reports that Charlie Sheen‘s ex-wife will be one of the lucky luminaries joining the ABC competition show when it returns this spring.

“She’s super excited and has lost a few pounds to tone up and get in shape,” a source told the mag.

The 37-year-old mom of four-year-old Sam and Lola Rose, 3, will potentially join another rumored cast member in Jackass alum Steve-O when the show premieres March 9.

“She’s ready and thinks she can go all the way,” the source adds.

Last season, which ended its run in November, crowned host Brooke Burke as winner.

Which professional dancer is going to want to pair with that guy? Can you picture Cheryl Burke trying to get him to rehearse while he staples his body parts together and look for things around the dance studio to snort?

“We never comment on casting rumors, true or false,” the show’s producers have said.

Word is that Steve-O even auditioned to be on the show.

But producers do have a habit of choosing several people to appear, but then whittling down the contestants right before the official line-up is announced.

In recent months, Steve-O has gone through his fair share of travails.

He checked himself into Cedars-Sinai’s mental health ward in L.A. in March, and pled guilty to cocaine possession in June.

If producers were looking for someone to top Cloris Leachan‘s shenanigans, they’ve found their guy.

In the issue of fairness, the men should be able to get a warning too. Males may be bigger and stronger, but that little white stick doesn’t discriminate!
