Sylvester Stallone appeared skeptical of LA’s chances as he conversed with Entourage star Jeremy Piven courtside. Newly-weds Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem may have been too engrossed with one another to care about the holiday season shalacking they witnessed on the holiest of morns.

Rourke slips Sly some ink as the character Tool in the upcoming adventure flick The Expendables, about a team of missionaries who travel to South America to overthrow a dictator.

The film, which was written and directed by Stallone, also stars Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren.

Sylvester Stallone and Kate Moss were spotted breaking bread on the Mediterranean island yesterday.

They don’t seem to have a lot in common, aside from an apparent mutual enjoyment of polluting their lungs. What could the 62-year-old Rocky Balboa star and the 34-year-old human toothpick have been talking about?

Perhaps Moss was asking Sly for his astrologist mother Jackie‘s phone number, so she can set up a butt reading to determine if she’ll ever date a non-dirtbag.

And the Tinseltown contingent represented nicely: Jack Nicholson, Denzel Washington, Paula Abdul, Matt Damon, David Beckham, David Spade, Anthony Kiedis, Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham, Sylvester Stallone, Robert Downey Jr. and on and on.  Ashanti sang the National Anthem. It was an A-list affair all around.

Alas, now the Lakes must bid adieu to the hometown adoration and take on the Celtics in enemy territory. Best wishes in Beantown, boys—we’re with you in spirit!
