The 2013 MTV Movie Awards airs tonight from Sony Studios in Culver City, and you can expect appearances from a cast of thousands, including Brad Pitt and Zac Efron.

In honor of the annual ceremony, we invite you to look back at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, held at LA’s Shrine Auditorium.  Paris Hilton was just establishing herself as society-girl-cum-famous-for-nothing celebrity, and Amanda Bynes was Nickelodeon’s funny gal.

Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson were just about to launch their reality series, and Ryan Reynolds was engaged to Alanis Morrisette.

Nothing could be less appealing than the promise of a weekend music festival deep in the (hot, dry) Coachella Valley, where the ticket holders don’t bathe and everyone’s off their rockers on heaven-knows-what.

We’ve all seen evidence of this in years past, with Vanessa Hudgens as the Grand Marshall and Paris Hilton as that aging fan who has no business dressing like such a hipster (*eyes Melanie Griffith in her pantaloons*).

Don’t get me wrong.  With the right line-up and a low occupancy, a music festival can be f-u-n.  However, judging from the pictures I’ve come across of Hudgens spinning around in circles, I don’t have the tolerance for such behavior.

In the words of Jack Donaghy: “Never go with a hippie [or in our case, hipster] to a second location.”

Nipped, tucked, reconstructed and Botoxed — just some of the many alternatives stars have taken to achieving eternal youth.

Plastic surgery continues to be a tricky topic in Hollywood, with celebs often denying having any work done to enhance their image.

While some stars remain dedicated to aging gracefully, others have learned to love cosmetic enhancements, even opening up about their decisions to go under the knife (or needle) — all for the price of beauty.

Most recently, Kelly Ripa admitted to using Botox in an interview with ELLE.

“Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes,” said the 42-year-old mom of three. (via ABC News)  “So I feel like it makes my makeup artist’s life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now.”

On the other hand, stars like Kathy Griffin undergo more drastic procedures, such as liposuction, the devastating results of which she featured in her 2009 biography, Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin.

“It is embarrassing,” Griffin says. Still, she maintains, “I want women to know that this is what lipo looks like. Like, are you sure you don’t want to just work out a little more?”

But, despite her liposuction debacle, Griffin has no regrets.

“I work in an industry where if you don’t get a little nip and tuck, a lady of my age is going to end up playing Katie Holmes‘s great-grandmother in the Dawson’s Creek reunion. I’m never going to be Halle Berry, but I want to look as good as I can,” she told People in 2003.

Happy Birthday, Tara Reid!

On Thursday, Nov. 7, the American Pie star turns 37 — and Celebuzz is taking a look back at her best bikini looks.

Whether it’s short shorts with a basic black bikini top or a matching hot pink two-piece ensemble, Reid has rocked dozens of beach ready outfits over the years.

These days, when she’s not hanging out with her BFFs and former Celebrity Big Brother UK co-stars Jedward, Reid is busy sharing personal news and thoughts with her growing Twitter followers.

“I just went food shopping and i’m gonna make the best steak sandwiches tonight! Yummy!” she wrote earlier this week.

“I want to meet a really nice boyfriend am I ever gonna find him?” Reid added later that night.

The actress’ last high-profile relationship was with Bulgarian businessman Zachary Kehayov. The pair reportedly married in Greece in August 2011, but just two months later, Reid clarified that the union was not legal to begin with.

Tara Reid‘s Parisian vacation has been cut short after the American Reunion actress is hospitalized in Nice, France.

Reid, 36, is suffering from Acute Pancreatitis and will stay in a hospital until she can recover, reports TMZ.

Her condition is currently not life threatening.

So what is Acute Pancreatitis?

According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, Acute Pancreatitis is the sudden inflammation of the pancreas, which causes symptoms like vomiting, nausea, diarrhea and fever to occur.

On Tuesday, Reid was spotted clutching her stomach as she stroll around St. Tropez. Sporting a pink hoodie and matching sweatpants, the Van Wilder star looked distressed as she stepped out with a gal pal.

Reid’s rep has yet to reply to Celebuzz’s request for comment.

Tara Reid sure loves a good two piece.

During a vacation to St. Tropez, the American Reunion actress was seen sporting a cherry-printed bikini top and her signature short shorts.

Joined by some friends, it looks like there was love in the air for this 36-year-old star.

Who is the new fella?

According to reports, the young man’s name is Joshua Darval.

Last August, Reid made headlines when she got engaged and married in Greece on the same day to her beau at the time, Zack Kehayov. They later dismissed the claims as a joke.

It appears as though she’s having a blast on her beach getaway, as she tweeted:

After a nine year absence on the big screen, the cast of American Reunion is back and better than ever! The last time this group was together was in 2003′s American Wedding, where fans got to see high school sweethearts Jim (Jason Biggs) and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) tie the knot, and of course, there were some raunchy antics along the way.

We can’t help but feel nostalgic at the idea of the East Great Falls High gang back together, so we thought we’d find some pictures of the film’s stars back when they were in high school!

Tara looks to be starting off the year off right after a whirlwind of a 2011. The actress got married this past August on the same day she announced her engagement. She said her “I dos” to Zack Kehayov, only to separate from him before the year ended.

The leading ladies of American Pie: Reunion rocked the Christmas colors on Tuesday during a photo call for the film in Sydney, Australia. 

Tara Reid, 36, cleaned up nicely, stepping out wearing Stop Staring in a red curve-hugging dress that she paired with cork wedges. Meanwhile, Mena Suvari, 33, was equally bright in a grass green dress and gold heels.

All the faves have returned for the film including Victoria ‘Vicky’ Lathum (Tara Reid), “Bandcamp” Michelle Flaherty (Alyson Hannigan), Jim Levenstein (Jason Biggs), Steve Stifler (Sean William Scott), Chris ‘Oz’ Ostreicher (Chris Klein) and Heather (Mena Suvari) … to name a few.
