When Rihanna posted “ca$h rulez everything around me” on Twitter as she posed in yet another fierce outfit, she wasn’t kidding.

The bad girl songstress is no stranger to rockin’ the bling and is a designer’s dream come true.

So when she hit The Big Apple April 30 she upped the anty in a high street fashion statement when she stepped out for a dinner date with the gals at NYC’s Da Silvano, with a little head-to-toe help from Jennifer Fisher and Tom Ford – to the tune of over $30,000!

And the superstar fashionista turned superfan when she got decked out in diamonds: “Just met my favorite B.I.T.C.H and she is epic az phuck!!! @jfisherjewelry You easily just made this the best day of my fashionista life!” she wrote Wednesday.

The 25-year-old “Run This Town” singer was dripping in diamonds with 13 pricey pieces dangling from her wrists and fingers, and CB! is breaking down the bling that made up her extravagant ensemble.

They say that the suit makes the man, and whether or not that’s true, when you’re talking about a Tom Ford suit, it certainly makes the man stylish.

The famed fashion designer has suited some of Hollywood’s best-dressed men, including Daniel Craig for all the James Bond flicks. So it’s no surprise that Justin Timberlake turned to Ford to help him suit up for the music video for his his new fashion-focused single “Suit & Tie,” which features rapper Jay-Z.

And it looks like you’ll be seeing Ford’s “made-to-measure tailoring and accessories” throughout JT’s new album, “The 20/20 Experience,” WWD reports.

“I adore Justin. He has innate style and enormous talent,” Ford told the WWD. “It has been such a pleasure and honor to work with him throughout the entire creative process.”

If the three-piece suit and black two-piece tuxedo JT dons in the video for Suit & Tie as he sings, “As long as I’ve got my suit and tie/Imma leave it all on the floor tonight,” is any indication, you can expect the fashion from his new album to be setting trends on the red carpet.

Timberlake’s stylish single and recent collaboration with Ford, whose suits are synonymous with style, isn’t a huge surprise. Not only is Timberlake one of the red carpet’s most stylish men, but he’s also tried his hand at design. The 31-year-old has been the co-designer of William Rast clothing line, which has shown at New York Fashion Week, for almost a decade.

Earlier this week, the singer finally returned to the music scene with a new single, “Suit & Tie” — and it’s already a hit. According to Billboard, the single is projected to sell some 330,000 downloads by the end of the week.

Produced by pal Timbaland and featuring verses from Jay-Z, the ode to men’s fashion celebrates men of style, including famed designers Tom Ford and Alexander Wang.

The popularity of “Suit & Tie” speaks to the growing focus on men’s fashion and what  Hollywood’s hottest men are wearing on the red carpet.

Though female artists like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga often incorporate style into their songs and performances, Timberlake’s fashion-focused single, and its menswear focus, is a rarity among his peers in the music industry.

And who better to pay tribute to men of style than Timberlake, who is not only one of music’s top talents, but also one of the red carpet’s best-dressed men?

So in honor of JT’s first single in seven years — and its fashionable lyrics — we’re taking a look at some of the industry’s hottest suit- and- tie-loving stars.

Lyrics for Justin Timberlake’s new single is now available on DirectLyrics.

After donning dramatic dresses to the London premiere of Les Miserables, the film’s leading ladies Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried made another bold statement for the film’s New York premiere.

There was definitely a darker vibe on the red carpet at last night’s premiere, with both leading ladies donning long black dresses. But that’s where the similarities end.

After donning a winter white Givenchy gown with draped sleeves to Les Miserables‘ London premiere, Hathaway once again spread her sartorial wings in a long black Tom Ford gown with cape-like draping decorating the back.

Chic in the front, chaotic in the back, the fitted gown’s front was elegant and sophisticated in its simplicity, while the draped back just looked messy. Hathway and Ford rarely make a red carpet miss, so we’re inclined to believe that maybe it was just one of those looks that doesn’t photograph well on the red carpet. But the actress’ lace-up bondage style footwear, which she showed off through a thigh-high slit, only further muddied the elegance of the dress’ facade.

All in all, the overall goth-elegance mash-up wasn’t one of our favorite Hathway looks, but we applaud the star for taking more chances on the red carpet — and her bold red lip did payoff.

Seyfried, on the other hand, went for a more glam goth in a long strapless Alexander McQueen gown with a gold embroidered bodice. The starlet accessorized the look with a tortoise belt and McQueen’s skull clutch for a more subtle goth touch than Hathaway’s knee-high bondage heels.

A wraparound braid and dark, dramatic cat eyes finished off Seyfried’s goth-glam look.

From eye-catching mini dresses to glam gowns and sparkly cocktail frocks, the red carpet at the LACMA Art and Film Gala on Sunday was full of one-of-a-kind dresses.

But all eyes were on Jennifer Aniston, who sizzled in a sleek black Tom Ford dress with a plunging neckline so daring, it reminded us of Jennifer Lopez‘ infamous green Gucci gown — and its belly-button-reaching V-neck –  from the 2000 Grammy Awards.

Though the perfectly tailored black gown fit Aniston’s pared-down style, the revealing neckline was definitely a more daring look than we’ve seen from the star in the past, leaving little to the imagination.

Though she certainly proved just how lucky fiance Justin Theroux is (not that there was any doubt), Aniston wasn’t the only one showing off her sexier side at the LACMA Art and Film Gala.

Not surprisingly, the Gucci-sponsored affair saw an array of sexy Gucci gowns, both old and new.

Florence Welch took the plunge too, in a flowing purple Gucci gown with draped sheer sleeves — another trend from the night.

Aniston’s He’s Just Not that Into You co-star Ginnifer Goodwin also rocked a daring center slit, with a sheer illusion panel plunging neckline, offsetting her Gucci dress’ high neckline and feathered three-quarter skirt.

Cameron Diaz showed off her sexy stems in a mustard Gucci mini dress. To balance out the shorter hemline, she chose a more subtle keyhole neckline that was nearly disguised by a floral-embellished collar.

Mixing things up, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley went with a surprise sideways cleavage reveal in a Gucci gown from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection.

China Chow took the cutoff trend to a whole new level, with a sexy cut-out dress that showed off her toned torso.

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian rubbed shoulders Thursday night with the fashionisto himself, Tom Ford!

Kourtney channeled her chic ’70s style with a nude jumpsuit, while Kim stepped out in a curve-hugging green cocktail dress. The style-savvy siblings were thrilled to meet designer-turned-movie maker, with Kim tweeting: 

“Just met Tom Ford! The collection is amazing!!!”

Kourtney’s beau Scott Disick also joined the girls for dinner at Los Angeles hotspot Mr. Chow. Scott seems to be following the style rules set by Mr. Ford. In Another Mag, Ford gave his Top 5 rules on how to be a modern gentleman, the last rule reading:

“A man should never wear shorts in the city. Flip-flops and shorts in the city are never appropriate. Shorts should only be worn on the tennis court or on the beach.”

Chelsea Clinton wasn’t the only celebrity getting married this weekend: Alicia Keys married music producer Swizz Beatz in a private ceremony on the Mediterranean Sea.

Like Chelsea, the 29-year-old Alicia wore a Vera Wang wedding gown specially designed to fit her pregnant belly. Meanwhile, the 31-year-old groom wore a white Tom Ford tuxedo.

The couple have been dating since fall of 2008. Swizz (real name: Kasseem Dean) recently told People that Alicia will make a great mother:

Alicia is definitely one of those great parents-to-be. She’s super ready. Super glowing. Super happy.

Alicia just wrapped up her 6-month “Freedom Tour.” The “Unthinkable” singer is currently working on a new female-focused website called I Am a Superwoman which is expected to launch later this year.

Clearly, nothing is sacred for the men of Judd Apatow‘s universe. These loveable schmo’s (responsible for some of the biggest comedic blockbusters in recent memory) cover April’s issue of Vanity Fair.

The spread, shot by lensmaster Annie Leibovitz, targets one of VF‘s bigger coups of the last decade—their Hollywood issue styled entirely by designer Tom Ford.

The steamy shot stars Paul Rudd (as the chest-rug-baring Ford himself), nuzzling Seth Rogen, Jason Segal and Jonah Hill in repose.

The cover features the four men as well, clad in barrels and smiles. VF.com has the full spread, including cameos from Anna Faris and Leslie Mann.

Paris Fashion Week tends to bring out the magic in people whose lives are already enchanted.

Naomi Campbell‘s hours of community service and fine for her Heathrow bust-up are a far-off thought as she poses cozily for photos with fellow supermodel Claudia Schiffer. Schiffer has the courage of a lion tamer. She just better make sure to keep her hands off Naomi’s luggage. Kind of a sore spot.

Other fashion giants great and small were in attendance with the legendary Karl Lagerfeld in his signature fingerless wheelchair racing gloves, in silver no less, but opting to leave the fan at home. Oh wait, that’s right. Oprah stole it.
