The famously fully tattooed drummer has got the beat for a number of other projects, as he continues to play with his band The Transplants and has been in the studio with a re-formed Blink-182 for a new album later this year! Somehow he still has the energy to play even more — at home with his two kids.

Us Magazine reports that the Blink-182 drummer is poised to unleash a new solo album, and as might be expected from the collaboration-happy skins-slapper, Barker has a cavalcade of guest stars on the album. Among those joining Barker on Give the Drummer Some (out on March 15) are Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Kid Cudi and Rick Ross, as well as Slipknot singer Corey Taylor.

Barker has already released the first single from the album, titled “Carry It,” which features Wu-Tang Clan members RZA and Raekwon, as well as former Rage Against the Machine/Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello. (Check out the song below.)

Blink-182, meanwhile, is scheduled to release a new album later this year.

The trouble began when the Blink-182 drummer attempted to bring his daughter, Alabama Luella, to the Marmalade Cafe in Calabasas, only to be confronted by a photographer on the way in. Slapping the pap’s video camera, Barker declared,

“I’ll kick the sh*t outta you bro … if I didn’t have my little girl in my hands … give me an hour and I’ll meet you.”

While the original photog was nowhere in sight when the drummer emerged from the restaurant, as it turns out there was a whole other group of paps for Barker and his pals to tussle with and, oh yes, it was on: Cursing, spitting, homophobic slurs, alleged tire-slashing….oh my. 

Later, on his Twitter page, Barker reflected on the incident, noting,

“Paparazzi cried like young girls when it was no longer three of them against me and my kids. Didn’t they remember threatening me an hour ago? What happened to the tough guys with the cameras? It was gonna be a fair fight.”

Yikes; sounds like he’s up for a rematch. Check out video of both confrontations below:

Taylor Swift teams up with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo and Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz in a new commercial for the video game Band Hero, which features Swift’s songs “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me.”

In the ad, the quartet pays tribute to the infamous “Old Time Rock and Roll” scene from the 1983 Tom Cruise classic Risky Business. Sadly, it does not appear that Swift joins the boys in stripping down to their undies.

T-Mobile threw its Party Celebrating the New Sidekick LX on the Paramount Studios backlot in Los Angeles on Thursday night, drawing a slew of stars for a night of technological appreciation and top-notch musical entertainment.

Paris Hilton and her beau Doug Reinhardt, Kim Karashian, Nikki Reed, Alex Meraz, Zachary Quinto, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson, Pink and Kelly Osbourne (rocking a super-short, platinum hairstyle) were among the notables on hand for the event, which featured a performance by collaborators and plane-crash survivors Travis Barker and DJ AM.

When the duo—who drove attendees wild with their performance—finished up their set, guests were treated to a very special surprise performance. Barker’s once-and-current blink-182 bandmates Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus joined their drummer on stage for an unannounced three-song set, giving audience members a taste of what to expect on the reunited band’s upcoming summer tour.

Sounds like an awesome night.

The blonde bombshell and her on-again, off-again boyfriend, musician Travis Barker, are once again on the outs after a huge blow-up last week, in which Shanna accused Travis of infidelity and which ended with a visit from the police.

Now In Touch reports that Shanna will be starring in a new reality show on the Oxygen channel called Celebrity Moms. At Sunday’s Bravo A-List Awards, she could barely contain her excitement when talking about her new venture. “It’s about how celebrity moms raise their kids in Hollywood, and juggling career and work and family. It’s kind of like the Housewives of LA!”

Shanna has three children with Barker: Atiana, 10, Landon, 5, and Alabama, 3. The pair starred on reality show Meet the Barkers, which followed the everyday life of the couple, from 2005 to 2006—the same year that Barker filed for divorce from Moakler.

Let’s hope that this reality-TV excursion has a happier ending for Shanna.

Plane crash survivor and once-again Blink-182 drummer Barker helped his ex (or is she?) ring in her 34th birthday (which was actually on Saturday) in grand style. Barker and Moakler began their evening at approximately 8 p.m. at Beverly Hills eatery Crustacean, where they joined approximately 20 friends in the upstairs dining room for Moakler’s birthday party, according to OK! Magazine.

Eyewitnesses tell the mag that Moakler sat at the head of a table covered with a centerpiece of white roses, lilies and hyacinths. The guests’ chairs were festooned with white, cream and lavender balloons.

The merrymakers dined on a seafood-heavy menu that included tuna tacos, garlic noodles with sauteed prawns, Chilean sea bass and whole-roasted cracked crab. For dessert, a Molten Chocolate Lava Cake from Sweet Lady Jane’s was served.

A source notes that the gathering was “very subdued… Nothing really rock ‘n’ roll about this bunch. There was no music playing other than the house music piped in from the restaurant.”

That’s probably because Barker and Moakler would be letting loose later. At about 12:30 p.m. a security guard—on loan from Dr. Dre—ushered Moakler, Barker and some friends into an SUV, which delivered them to Hollywood hot spot My House. Amid a crowd that included Bai Ling, Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz and Shawn Wayans, Barker and Moakler partied down until closing time.

Mario Lopez, 35, had a “Vegas, Baby!” weekend. He and a coterie of friends did the town on Saturday after Lopez finished hosting the 84th Miss America pageant, which took place at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The toothy Lopez, looking dashing in an open-collared white shirt, had dinner with an eclectic group including Palms casino owner George Maloof, thorn in Travis Barker’s side Shanna Moakler, former Miss America (and former Catwoman!) Lee Meriweather, and actress Laura Bell Bundy at KOI at Planet Hollywood.

The group (including Lee Meriweather? Did she do shots?) then hit Prive nightclub before finishing up at LAVO at the Palazzo Hotel, where Mario was seen hooking up with a mystery lady! Was Lee Meriweather okay with that?

LAVO is now infamous for hosting Joaquin Phoenix‘s debut as a “rap” act last weekend.

Before nude sports fan Mario got toasty with his lady friend, he was all about the pageantry.

“I’m excited more than I am nervous. I love live television, and, although hosting is a real challenge, at the best of times, the secret is to just have fun with it,” he told VegasDeluxe.

Mario definitely has the fun part down.

Former blink-182 drummer Barker, 33, and 35-year-old mixmaster DJ AM (born Adam Goldstein) rocked the LAX nightclub at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Wednesday, ripping through a 45-minute set.  The audience included Dr. Dre and Barker’s estranged wife, Shanna Moakler.

The show marked the first time that AM and Barker have performed together in Las Vegas since June 2008. The pair have been mounting a post-tragedy comeback of late; they headlined New Year’s Nation’s Los Angeles New Year’s Eve Party at the Lot in West Hollywood a little more than a week ago.

Barker performed shirtless, with a large scar on the small and middle of his back being the only visible indication of the ordeal he endured just a few months ago. Looks like his skin is recovering quite nicely.

The skins he mercilessly pounded on his drum kit during the show, on the other hand, took a beating they won’t soon forget.

The two last performed together in South Carolina at a college event, just before the Learjet crash that killed four of their co-passengers. Goldstein has since been inching back toward live performances, re-opening the Hollywood Palladium in October in a concert with Jay-Z.

Barker, meanwhile, has been busy reuniting with his two-year-old daughter Alabama and suing the company that provided the jet, among other allegedly responsible parties.

Good luck, guys! It’s tempting to tell you to break a leg, but your poor bodies have been through enough this year.

After surviving September’s horrific plane crash in which four people lost their lives, it can safely be assumed that the musically inclined buddies aren’t taking anything for granted. The men suffered horrible burns, but thankfully have gotten back to their “normal” lives at an incredibly speedy rate.

Both have gained strength in their personal and professional lives. Travis is back with the mother of his two kids, Shanna Moakler, while AM and his ex, Mandy Moore, seem to be hanging out on more than a friendly level. Oh, and he recently got to play with Jay-Z. Kind of a big deal.

The world is so thankful to have these awesome guys around!

Sunday at the Miss California USA pageant, Shanna was sporting her wedding ring.

Travis and Shanna have a famously contentious relationship. The MTV reality show marrieds’ divorce was finalized this year after much bandwith spent on Internet blog feuding starting in 2006. Paris Hilton was thrown into the mix so much so that Moakler allegedly punched her in the face at a club at one point that same year for dating her man.

Even then, the couple were on again/off again. They share two children together, son Landon, 5, and daughter Alabama, 3, and have been reportedly trying to give their marriage another go since last year…despite that pesky divorce still taking place.

When Barker was in a plane crash in September, former Miss USA Moakler tearfully flew to Georgia to be by his side. But then Barker trashed her in a blog post for not visiting enough!

This prompted Moakler to use actor Gerard Butler, 39, as something to lean on while drunk.

It seems, as of Sunday, that her reported lack of visitation after the first week is forgiven and that they’re back on. Or at least the wedding ring is.

Is that enough to invalidate a divorce?

Us reports that Hulk Hogan‘s ex-wife Linda has requested that the courts allow her to unfreeze some of the couple’s assets, claiming she is in need of them despite the $40,000 a month temporary alimony payments that Hulk pays to her. Linda’s lawyers cited the fact that Hulk reportedly refuses to pay for “cable, pest control, window washing and their security system.” Hogan was ordered by the judge to pay for everything on that list, except for the security system. Hulk’s lawyers want to see proof that Linda is poor, despite Hulk’s payments. “They have to tell me why she’s out of money. They have to show me in bank statements,” his lawyer remarked to the press.

Teen vampire romance Twilight has proven worth the hype, and was the #1 film at the box office over the weekend. The film made over $70 million in its first weekend, according to Box Office Mojo. Summit Entertainment’s budget for the film was reportedly $37 million.

NBC reports that Californication star and admitted sexual compulsive David Duchovny has dropped a $1 million lawsuit against against London’s Daily Mail newspaper for running an article suggesting he cheated on estranged wife Tea Leoni with a tennis instructor. The suit was ended “with prejudice,” meaning it cannot be filed again.

Us reports that former Full House star Jodie Sweetin, has filed for divorce from the father of her child, Cody Herpin, after only 16 months of marriage. Sweetin, a former crystal meth addict, gave birth to daughter Zoie in April of 2007. Sweetin and Herpin were reportedly working on a reality show together during their marriage.

Spotted last night in West Hollywood hitting up Nobu with his ex-wife (who has been a mainstay since the near-fatal crash) Shanna Moakler and theri two young children, Landon and Alabama, as well as Moakler and Oscar de la Hoya‘s daughter Atiana.

Dinner inside was an intimate crowd of family and friends, Celebuzz has learned, with the most important toast being Barker’s health.

“He’s healing incredibly well. He’s healing very quickly,” band member Mark Hoppus recently told MTV, adding “I can’t even imagine what he’s had to go through these past weeks, and he’s just trying to stay positive and get back in the studio and do good work.”

One thing that would help us—the Maxfield Los Angeles bag Barker was spotted carrying out of the restaurant with other gifts.

The celeb-fave shop, frequented by the likes of Victoria Beckham, holds a prestigious collection of vintage men’s leather goods by Hermes as well as timepieces by Cartier.

Less than a week after being released from the Los Angeles Burn Center, former blink-182 drummer Barker was seen in Los Angeles, carrying his two-year-older daughter Alabama Luella Barker to Marmalade Cafe.

Though he displayed scars on his hands and legs that testify to his recent tragedy, Barker is no doubt relieved to have some semblance of normalcy return to his life.

Earlier this month, he told Us Weekly that one of the worst aspects of his hospitalization was not being able to see Alabama and his five-year old son Landon, exclaiming, “I’m going nuts not being able to see them and spend time with them!”
