Seems completely random, I know, but somehow all of these things are related to our bigger mysteries of “A” and Alison’s (Sasha Pieterse) murder? How exactly? That’s not too clear yet, but as it is only the second episode of this addictive drama’s fourth season, there is much yet to come and decipher.

Let’s get to it.

Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen Tuesday’s episode, “Turn of the Shoe.”

Who would have thought that a bird, of all things, would be providing some of the answers on PLL? Certainly not me but on this show, anything is possible.

So following a conversation with Mrs. DiLaurentis (Andrea Parker) about Ali’s last summer alive – in which we see Ali’s manipulation at work via flashback – Hanna (Ashley Benson) becomes the proud owner of a clue giving bird named Tibby. Seems this gray-feathered parrot of Ali’s spent more time with her that summer than most people did and sounds just like her.

Of course, by episode’s end, “A” has released the bird but not before detective Spencer (Troian Bellisario) realizes the tune she’s been singing all day is a phone number. Could this be a major clue to who killed Ali? And is “board shorts,” Detective Wilden (Bryce Johnson)?

And while Spencer is a great detective when it comes to all things “A” related, her intelligence doesn’t seem to be enough for dream school/Hastings alma mater, UPenn as she receives a rejection letter from school. Upset and unwilling to share this information with her friends and family, she works with Ezra (Ian Harding) on her college essay. He thinks her honesty about what she’s been through may put a damper on all of her academic achievements and suggests lightening up. Though my real question from this storyline — Why is Ezra alone with a student on a Saturday at school? I know it’s just Spencer, but jeez Ezra, didn’t you learn your lesson?

Though it appears Aria (Lucy Hale) certainly hasn’t. Taking up private self-defense lessons to protect herself from “A,” she plants a kiss on her new and hot instructor Jake (Ryan Guzman) mid-lesson on her very FIRST lesson. She runs away embarrassed but he later shows up at her house to let her know that he is – of course – interested and they should get coffee. Also, was Aria seriously wearing wedge sneakers during this lesson or was I seeing things?

Meanwhile, Spencer’s other half, Toby (Keegan Allen) reveals to her that he gave up the RV of secrets to “A” in exchange for information about his mother’s death. A sad scene, we learn that she supposedly committed suicide. Though “A’s” information leads Toby to believe that this is not the case. The former “A” team member seems determined to find out the truth.

Keeping with the current PLL trend of one set of Liar parents per episode, this week Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton) made her return from New York. The Marin matriarch is looking pretty suspicious during the episode, after we learn that a set of footprints at the scene of Wilden’s murder belong to a pair of high heels and she happens to throw away a destroyed pair of Manolos. Uh-Oh Ms. Marin, do you have a confession to make?

Lastly, Emily (Shay Mitchell) has a rough go at things on “Turn of the Shoe” after she seriously injures her shoulder saving Aria and Mona (Janel Parrish) from a car driven by “A.” The injury forces the swimming star to self-medicate and in turn causes her to black out during her meet and hit her head. The accident looks touch and go for a second, but Emily is recovering at home by episode’s end. With possible “A” team member, Shana (Aerial Miranda), gunning for the only open spot on Stanford’s swim team alongside Paige (Lindsay Shaw), Em has some stiff competition.

Buzz Moments

OMG: Though nothing particularly gasp-worthy happened on “Turn of the Shoe,” I was surprised that Emily recovered so quickly from her head injury. I thought for sure we’d see her in the hospital.

Thank you, TV gods.: For Spencer’s French fry/mozzarella stick map. Hilarious and amazing.

Awk-ward: Awkwardness was all around on this episode but did anyone else cringe at Spence and Toby’s weird hug after he was crying? It was so strange.

Hotness: Helloooo Jake!

Fab-u-lous: While I could have done without the bottom half of Hanna’s leggings and jacket combo, I loved her coral moto jacket, which thanks to Possessionista I found out was from Free People.

Can. Not. Wait.: For Caleb and Jason to get back! I miss them!

Celebuzz (1-10): 7. This episode was par for the course after the stellar season premiere. Just enough information revealed to keep you coming back while adding more questions to this season’s big mysteries.

So PLL fans, what did you think about “Turn of the Shoe”? Do you think Ms. Marin had something to do with Wilden’s death? How do you feel about Aria’s new love interest? Let us know in the comments below!

The newest member of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County is not one to mess with. If you don’t believe me, just ask Gretchen Rossi and her slimy fiancé Slade Smiley.

Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode: “Chicks and Salsa”.

In tonight’s episode, Lydia decided throw a salsa dancing party and invited all of the women to attend. Everything seemed to be going great, until Slade decided to crack a joke on Lydia’s behalf about her weight to his woman Gretchen. Unfortunately for the two, Lydia overheard Slade’s crass comment about how thin she was. She decided to pull a Phaedra Parks from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and come for him, even though he didn’t send her.

A stunned Gretchen and Slade insisted they were merely joking amongst themselves, and it wasn’t intended to be malicious; however, that didn’t stop Lydia from calling the two out about their childish antics. Lydia let Slade know she was not about to tolerate his rude behavior like the ladies have done so in the past. All a befuddled Slade could do was reiterate his remarks to Gretchen were just a harmless joke, and he never meant to insult her. Slade, were you just saying that to save face because you were busted, or did you really mean what you said about not wanting to disrespect Lydia? How is whispering to someone you will dub the host of a party you are invited to “cheeseburger”, because they needed to eat one from being too thin not disrespectful?

If that wasn’t bad enough for Gretchen, Tamra Barney decided to have Alexis Bellino come along as she and the other ladies went on the hunt for her wedding dress. Are Gretchen’s chickens coming home to roost?

Even though Gretchen and Slade maintained they were just being silly and jesting with each other, why not share the joke with everyone instead of whispering it like some mean high school kids? It seems the gruesome duo were not ready for the wrath Lydia brought down upon them, despite their best efforts to backpedal as if they were participants of the Tour de France. The lesson learned here kids is never pick on a smaller kid, because you never know if they might just swing back at you.

Buzz Moments

OMG!: Vicki Gunvalson calling Gretchen the equivalent of toe jam. Ouch.

Thank you, TV gods.: Heather Dubrow and Alexis finally working out their issues. It was old and childish.

Awk-ward: Tamra dancing with Brooks Ayers. She looked like she’d rather set her hair on fire than do the tango with him.

Hotness: The OC chickas in their salsa night dresses. Muy caliente (that’s very hot in Spanish kids)!

Fab-u-lous: Tamra’s man Eddie Judge tearing up the dance floor. You are one luck lady T..

Can. Not. Wait.: To see what Vicki’s reaction is to Lauri Warning Peterson‘s allegations Brooks is cheating on her with a porn star. This is going to be fireworks!

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 8.

Were Gretchen and Slade just teasing Lydia, or did they get busted trashing her? Did Lydia overreact? Sound off below!

Within just the first 15 minutes of the Season 4 Premiere, fans learned the identity of the Queen of Hearts, who was in Wilden’s (Bryce Johnson) trunk, when Toby (Keegan Allen) joined the “A” Team and what Mona (Janel Parrish) didn’t do during her time tormenting the girls.

So let’s dive in, shall we…

Note: MAJOR spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen the Season 4 Premiere of PLL, “’A’ is for A-l-i-v-e.”

This episode began right where Season 3 left off with our girls and Mona opening Wilden’s trunk to find… a dead pig. Ew. Some gross foreshadowing to let us know Wilden is dead. So after Mona removes the incriminating hard drive from his car’s computer, the girls speed away. And within moments, we’re getting answers to some of PLL’s biggest questions when the Liars play the third degree game with their nemesis. Some of the secrets Mona spilled include: She put his car in Hanna’s garage but didn’t take it out of the lake; Shana (Aeriel Miranda) knew Jenna (Tammin Sursok) before she came to Rosewood and both girls are afraid of Melissa (Torrey DeVitto); Lucas (Brendan Robinson) gave Emily (Shay Mitchell) that massage; she recruited Toby when he got the job in Buck’s county and she DIDN’T push Ian off the bell tower.

To show the Liars they are all in this together, Mona then takes them to her lair and it is revealed via video that there were two Queen of Hearts who tried to kill Aria (Lucy Hale) on the Halloween train. And they were… WILDEN and MELISSA. Of course, we didn’t actually see Melissa’s face as Mona’s computer began mysteriously deleting everything just before her mask came off.

Everyone’s favorite creepy dolls also made an appearance as “Alison” gave each of the girl’s mini-me’s a doll named after each Liar, to make us a just a bit freaked out.

Meanwhile, Hanna (Ashley Benson) followed the old adage, “keep your friends close and your enemies closer,” by hanging out with Mona again. The ex-BFFs go shopping – I mean, what else would they do? – and have awkward conversation in the kitchen. Then in an attempt to gain some of Hanna’s trust back, Mona hands over the hard drive with the evidence on Ms. Marin.

But could Mona really be teaming up with the Liars this season? I, for one, hope so. With Mona and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) working together along with the rest of the Liars, red coat should be revealed within no time. (I know that’s not likely, but seriously, they really are both “Hannibal Lecter” smart as Hanna said.)

“A’s” texts on the episode warn the girls of the evidence on them, which she hopes to reveal during Wilden’s funeral. They later find Hanna’s mom’s cell phone in his casket, just in time of course and get a glimpse at a mysterious black-veiled woman at the church.

“A” also spends some time blackmailing Toby with teases about the truth of what happened to his mom in order to get access to Mona’s RV lair.

Relationship drama was at the minimum in the premiere but there was some Ezria action. With the couple having officially ended in the Season 3 finale, Aria and Ezra (Ian Harding) have an awkward run-in at The Brew where he informs her of his new permanent teaching status at Rosewood. And in a trick that completely had me fooled, we were shown Ezra taken out of Rosewood high in handcuffs. Damn you, Marlene, I literally yelled an expletive at my TV screen during this scene.

This season is going to be fantastic.

Other noteable observations:

Mrs. DiLaurentis is back in town and a wee bit creepy.

Paige (Lindsay Shaw) wants to take Emily away to Stanford after they graduate.

Jenna is worried about her safety, telling Em, “it seems to me like everyone that saw Ali the night she went missing is ending up dead.”

There’s a new cop in town, who is attractive and seems to be on the Liars’ side. Whoever he is, I can’t imagine, he’s actually good.

Buzz Moments

OMG: There were so many reveals in the premiere but the moment that got me to gasp (repeatedly) was a trick. For a few moments there I really thought Ezra was going to jail.

Thank you, TV gods.: For a fantastic season opener!

Awk-ward: After shopping with Mona, things get really awkward for Hanna and her former BFF as they attempt to keep up small talk.

Hotness: Toby. That’s really all I need to say.

Fab-u-lous: As always the girls’ clothes were amazing in the season opener. My favorite of the night was Spencer’s colorblocked sweater and skirt. And to prettylittle-fashionista.tumblr.com, I found out both are Marc by Marc Jacobs and on sale too.

Can. Not. Wait.: To watch this season unfold! So many reveals and so many new questions!

Celebuzz (1-10): 10. PLL is back in full effect.

What did you think of the Season 4 Premiere, PLL fans? Were you satisfied with all the answers revealed? What’s your biggest question for this season? Sound off in the comments below!

The ladies of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County seemed to forget that little tidbit. Last week, Vicki Gunvalson decided to show Tamra Barney and Lydia McLaughlin how to get down in Puerto Vallarta by partying the night away. Too bad Vicki and the gals didn’t clue in Gretchen Rossi and Heather Dubrow, who were at the restaurant wondering where the girls were.

Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode: “Dirty Dancing in Mexico“

Vicki had enough of the prim and proper hen party weekend for Tamra, and spirited her former BFF and newest housewife Lydia away for a real South of the border experience. While the gals all cackled about contacting Gretchen and Heather, none of them took the time out to give them the heads up on what they were doing. With all the tension between Vicki and Gretchen, you would think this would be a peace offering of sorts. Instead, it became another incident for the two feuding divas to break out their jewel-encrusted claws.

As Vicki, Tamra and Lydia channeled their inner sorority girl, Gretchen and Heather fumed about being ditched and decided to split for the hotel. Gretchen also chose this opportunity to fill Heather in on the allegations Lauri Waring-Peterson lobbed at Vicki. Heather saw right through Gretchen’s antics, and let her know she didn’t give two hoots about what escapades Vicki participated in the past. She and her ex-Donn were divorced now, so why should it matter?

Bravo (no pun intended) for Heather! Look Gretchen, if you are disturbed about what you’ve learned about Vicki, considering she’s been riding you hard about your late fiancée Jeff, you’d try to confront her instead of pulling a Lauri and trash talk.

Later, Vicki, Tamra and Lydia finally dragged their drunk and disorderly selves back to the hotel, and faced the wrath of Heather and Gretchen. The women tried to apologize for their behavior, but both Heather and Gretchen weren’t in a forgiving mood. Come on girls, they left you in a restaurant to go bar hoping; they didn’t leave you in Guantanamo Bay! Lighten up already.

By the next day, all appeared to be forgiven. However, as the ladies took a trip to see the sights Puerto Vallarta had to offer, Lydia just had to bring up the previous night! Girl started going on and on about all the fun they had and how it made the trip, which set Heather and Gretchen off. Lydia let the two chicks know, she was sorry, but isn’t about to keep falling on bended knee for the error she made. Seriously ladies, if you were so hurt and wanted to go, why didn’t you call them to find out where they were? While Gretchen cried her tears about being hurt for the slight, it made you wonder if she was jealous Vicki was the one who showed Tamra a good time and not her. We all know the PV trip was her idea, and how shady was it that Vicki upstaged her at her own event? Guess Gretchen has to get up a bit earlier in the day to best Vicki. Nice move, Gunvalson.

Buzz Moments

OMG!: Vicki urinating on herself and on Tamra’s bed! Need I say more?

Thank you, TV gods.: Lydia informing Vicki she likes to make everything a competition. Glad someone said it.

Awk-ward: Vicki and her daughter Briana’s gift to Tamra. How uncomfortable was that?

Hotness: The women and their pool attire.

Fab-u-lous: The resort the OC divas used for the weekend getaway.

Can. Not. Wait.: Brooks’ return and to see Heather and Alexis Bellino square off.

Stranger things have happened on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County. Lydia McLaughlin, the self-titled “Friendship Whisperer” (really, girl?) took it upon herself to meet with Tamra, and convince her to work things out with Alexis. Shockingly, Tamra agreed to her request, since she feels a tiny bit bad for Alexis being on meds. Alexis, this makes you feel bad, but attacking her constantly doesn’t? M’kay.. Meanwhile, Alexis runs straight to BFF Vicki Gunvalson and clues her in on Tamra’s call to have a sit down.

Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode: “Viva Mexico”

Later, Tamra, Alexis and Lydia all meet up for drinks, where Tamra shocks everyone (including yours truly) when she apologizes for her behavior to Alexis. Alexis, as usual, sobs like a society dame finding out vodka is out of stock at her local liquor store. She admits she just wants to be given a fair shake from everyone. As touching as these scenes are, will it last? We know how these Orange County dames can be.

Over on the other side of town, Gretchen Rossi meets up with old RHOC alum Lauri Waring Peterson, who makes it a “bash Vicki” day. Lauri stuns Gretchen by claiming she walked in on Vicki having an affair on her ex-husband Donn, and it was with a man and a woman! If this is all true, why is Lauri waiting until NOW to spill this tea about Vicki, when she alleges the insurance mogul tried to ruin her marriage? You would think Lauri would blow Vicki’s world sky high with this nugget of info, but something tells me Lauri’s just trying to gain her spot back on the show with these accusations.

Gretchen swore she’d keep this under her hat, but do we really believe she can hold water, let alone this little gem? Gretchen, Vicki and Heather Dubrowhead south of the border to Mexico for Tamra’s bachelorette party. We know once Tequila is involved, somehow Lauri’s tales of Vicki’s freaky side will slide out of Gretchen’s mouth, especially since she’s bursting at the seams to crush Vicki’s world.

Buzz Moments

OMG!: Gretchen and Vicki bickering over who copied sex toys ideas for Tamra. What a conversation to have at the airport.

Thank you, TV gods.: Gretchen being called out for complaining over Heather’s restaurant choice for dinner. Manners much?

Awk-ward: Vicki asking Tamra what sexual position her hubby-to-be Eddie likes, at dinner. Yes it is a girls weekend but that is not dinner talk!

Hotness: The ladies get up for Mexico. Lock up your husbands, the RHOC chicks are on the prowl.

Fab-u-lous: Lydia’s shoe closet. Carrie Bradshaw would be a bit jealous over her collection.

Can. Not. Wait.: For Gretchen to tell everyone about Lauri’s bombshell and for Vicki to confront them both. It will be a major dust up.

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 7.5.

Is Lauri lying about Vicki? Will Tamra and Alexis stay on friendly terms?

The ABC show’s two-hour season finale was full of emotional moments from the top four finalists and featured plenty of crowd-pleasing performances from Pitbull, Wynona Judd and Idol alum, Jessica Sanchez.

We also got to see the rest of the season 16 cast dust off their dancing shoes for another spin in the ballroom. All of the ousted contenders were there including Dorothy Hamill, who pulled out in week one due to a bad back injury. She joined the rest of the case in the show’s opening number to Pitbull’s “Don’t Stop The Party.”

The encore selection goes To Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough for their ovation-earning freestyle. Once again, the barefoot country star took the floor and gave an effortlessly emotional performance.

After hearing that votes cast on the network’s website were thrown out due to a glitch, we get to hear the rundown for the rest of the night.

Judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli had their work cut out for them once again, as they still had one “instant dance” round to judge after we learned who was headed home first.

While I figured we would see three women in the final round, it turned out Jacoby Jones took the lead over Aly Raisman, landing the gymnast in fourth place in the first hour. She took the surprising news in stride and said, “This has been the best experience of my life.”

For the next awesome dance break, we got to see Zendaya, Kellie and Aly lead a pack of pros in a killer routine to Beyonce’s “Girls.” Next, country legend and eliminated contestant, Wynona Judd, takes the stage to sing her version of “I Want To Know What Love Is.”

A few more time fillers followed including Lisa Vanderpump’s return to the dance floor and a surprise appearance from Kristi Yamaguchi. Another standout comeback came from Andy Dick who revived his to Lady Gaga’s, “Poker Face.”

After Pitbull and PSY perform, the remaining three contenders are forced to perform an instant dance for their final round of judging. Scores from this round were added to the teams’ totals to determine a winner.

Jacoby and his partner, Karina Smirnoff were first with a smoldering salsa routine. They were pulling out all the stops in a final attempt to snag the shiny mirror ball trophy. Despite a near run-in with a camera guy, the pair pulled off their final dance with ease and earns a perfect score.

Kellie and Derek were next with their jive and again, it was flawless. Carrie Ann compared Kellie to Derek’s sister, Julianne Hough and Len couldn’t find enough complimentary comments to send her way. “ I’m telling you, you’re the bees knees, my mama’s pajamas, my uncle’s carbuncle,” he said. “You’re awesome!” Another perfect score from the panel keep the competition as fierce as ever.

When Zendaya and her freshly stitched partner, Val Chemrovskiy, hit the floor for their final number, it was clear this competition was getting no easier to call. Their upbeat jive was so fun to watch and technically flawless as well. Like the two before them, this couple nabbed a perfect score from the panel as well. The sixteen-year-old sweetheart was sad to see the competition coming to an end and thanked her partner for helping her “grow up.” Cute.

After Jessica Sanchez sings Pitbull’s, “Feel This Moment,” it was time to roll in the results. As expected, Jacoby and Karina finished in third place and the football star says he has never been pushed as hard in his training as he has been on the show.

Finally down to Kellie and Zendaya, the country singer was revealed as victorious over the Disney star. The blonde bombshell seemed shocked when she hears she’s the winner. “Oh my gosh! This is amazing!” Cue the confetti.

On tonight’s episode, Lauri’s reappearance on the series marked trouble for Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson’s already fractured friendship. Last week, Tamra and Vicki’s friendship hit the skids and viewers thought the two would never recover from their blowup in Malibu. Could these two work things out?

Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode: “Hot In Orange County”

Lauri met up with Tamra to help the bride-to-be pick out wedding rings, when their conversation turned to everyone’s favorite wine-drinking insurance agent, Vicki. Lauri revealed to Tamra she knew the petit blonde and Vicki fell out, and dished how her marriage nearly suffered because of Vicki.

Really girl, I thought that was your son and your hubby’s ex-wife drama? Lauri never spilled the tea on how Vicki almost torpedoed her marriage, but warned Tamra that Vicki enjoys when people are unhappy just like she. Uh, Lauri, I remember when you were on the show, Vicki seemed really happy your mega rich hubby George came along. You sure do like to re-write history.

Meanwhile, the ladies rallied together and supported Heather Dubrow’s big debut on Hot in Cleveland. Heather’s big day was nearly upstaged by Gretchen Rossi and her wannabe housewife beau Slade Smiley’s late arrival. Apparently, the two were in San Diego on a romantic getaway, and Slade bought Gretchen a Rolls Royce! Not for nothing, but he didn’t buy her the Rolls, he leased it. We all know who’s making the payments, and it ain’t Slade.

Later, new housewife Lydia McLaughlin opened a dialog of discussion up for Tamra and Vicki at dinner to work things out. Always the optimist, that Lydia! Tamra apologized for lashing out at her former bestie. Tamra confessed she just wanted her old friend Vicki back. The two agreed to start fresh (yet again), and work on their issues at a later time, under the disapproving eye of Gretchen.

Buzz Moments

OMG!: Lydia’s mom and her weed smoking imitations and discussion. Ma’am really?

Thank you, TV gods.: Gretchen and Slade being called out for constantly walking out of Heather’s acting. How rude were they?

Awk-ward: Vicki wearing a pig nose at dinner as a joke. You know people wanted to chime in but decided not to.

Hotness: Heather’s stint on Hot In Cleveland. She owned it!

Fab-u-lous: Alexis Bellino showing up to acting class in a Rolls Royce. What budding actor does that? An OC actor.

Can. Not. Wait.: To find out more about Vicki and Lauri’s animosity.

The ABC show took time to honor the victims of Monday’s devastating tornado in Oklahoma City before getting on with the final night of performances.

“We’re a live show, and as such, occasionally we go to air in the shadow of tragic events. That happened April 15, when we went to air hours after the Boston bombing. And it’s happened again today. While we’re having a celebration here [in the ballroom], we want you to know our thoughts are with everyone who’s been affected by the devastating tornado in Oklahoma City,” said the emotional host, Tom Bergeron. “I would, however, ask you to applaud the amazing courage of the first responders on site.”

After the moment of silence, the competition got started with a bang with each couple performing three separate dances. First, a routine selected by judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. Next, a cha-cha relay for forty seconds each, and lastly, the ever-entertaining freestyle round.

The competition was fiercer than ever with the couples drawing more perfect scores than any other night this season. Here’s how it all went down.

Despite battling a bloody eye injury from rehearsals, Val Chemrovskiy and Zendaya owned the night. All three of their spins earned perfect scores from the judges. First, their scorching samba impressed all four judges, prompting Bruno to declare, “You’re just incredibly fierce, child!” Len agreed, calling their turn “eye-popping, show-stopping and jaw-dropping.”

They also took the lead in the cha-cha relay, adding five points to their final score at the end of the night. Their freestyle routine was especially impressive and incorporated numerous dance styles from throughout the season. By the end of the electrifying number, Carrie Ann complimented Zendaya’s consistency. “Way to bring it home,” she said. “You’re just divine, my dear.”

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough weren’t far behind the flawless frontrunners of the evening. Judges chose the quickstep for their first performance and they nailed it, earning a perfect score. “I was palpitating, perspirating and I got so excited I was nearly flatulating!” exclaimed an extremely excitable Len. Bruno agreed it was “better than ever” and the pair seemed relieved to be back on top after a tough couple of weeks.

The pair came in second place in the cha-cha relay, nabbing four extra points for their total score. Their barefoot freestyle was simple yet particularly moving. Carrie Ann was touched to tears and said, “It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.” Wow. Len agreed, telling the pair, “Good dancing engages the brain. Great dancing engages the heart.”

Aly Raisman and her pro partner, Mark Ballas, took on the samba in the first round. The gymnast was in her groove despite her partner’s awkward outfit and drew praise from the panel. “You have the swagger like Jacoby and the lines of Kellie and the musicality of Zendaya,” noted Carrie Ann. Their sexy samba earned then 28 points, with the only 10 coming from Bruno.

They fared a bit better in the cha-cha challenge, where they came in third to add three points to their score. For their freestyle, it was clear that the gold medal winner had a slight advantage over the rest of the bunch. Her amazing acrobatics came in handy for the futuristic-themed number that included a pole perfectly positioned to show off her fantastic flipping abilities.

Judges were floored and Carrie Ann said, “That was one of the most amazing routines I’ve seen on Dancing With the Stars.” The routine earned Aly a perfect score and a new nickname from Len—”Alexandra The Great.”

The only disappointing delivery came from Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff, who got off to a rocky start with their jive. Although it was extremely entertaining, the gimmicky routine was no match for the night’s stiff competition. The footballer’s enthusiasm took away from his technique leaving Len to admit, “ You got excited at times and lost it.” At judging time, they earned only 27 points from the panel. Ouch.

The couple finished last in the cha-cha relay, squeezing out only two bonus points for the pair who needed them most. The freestyle round failed to offer redemption despite help from a crew of tap dancers and typical twirling of Karina overhead. While the judges applauded his energy once again, the bells and whistles “outshined” him according to Carrie Ann. In the end, they landed on the bottom with 27 points.

With only one point between Zendaya and Kellie, and nine points separating the top scoring team from the bottom, it’s still anyone’s game. The top team will take home the coveted mirror ball trophy when the winner is announced on Tuesday night’s finale.

Kree Harrison and Candice Glover went to head to head three separate times in hopes of bringing home the win.

Both women gave great performances. First, they took a turn at the song selected by the show’s creator, Simon Fuller. Next, they belted out their perspective singles (should they win, that is) and then chose their final song from their favorite past performance.

Kree opened up with Sarah McLaughlin’s “Angel” and nailed it. Her quiet confidence and soft but powerful delivery made me forget all about the sick looking animals the tune usually conjures up.

Candice was given Adele’s “Chasing Pavements” for her first challenge and her version was almost as good as the original. The crowd went wild when she finished her jazzy take on the big ballad — and judges said she won the first round. Randy didn’t care for either of the song choices and host Ryan Seacrest joked that he was just causing trouble because he’s leaving the show.

Next, Kree performed her could be single, “All Cried Out.” It may be one of the strongest singles the show has ever produced. It suited her smooth, soulful voice perfectly and the subject matter sounded like she wrote it herself. By the end of the powerful number, her eyes are filling with tears. Something tells me the song will be bowing up radios this summer — win or lose.

Candice’s victory song, “I Am Beautiful,” is almost as impressive as Kree’s in its delivery, but the song itself pales in comparison. In truth, I thought the song came off as corny but nonetheless, the audience ate it up. The judges said Candice killed the second round as well, giving her and edge before the third round began.

For her final turn on the Idol stage, Kree chose to revive her stellar rendition of Patty Griffin’s “Up To The Mountain.” The judges loved her choice and she sung it as well as she did the first time. The Texas-born beauty already looks like a star onstage and it’s clear that no matter the outcome of the competition, this girl is going places.

Candice’s pick for favorite song of the season was Ben E. King’s, “I (Who Have Nothing).” She changed her version a bit from her first attempt and it’s even better this time around. From the moment she started singing the opening line — this time a capella — it’s clear she’s in control. She was also looking confident in the first short dress she has worn all season, showing off some sexy legs for her final bow.

By the end of the night, the judges couldn’t call a clear winner. With the strength of both singers, voters are faced with one of the toughest choices in Idol history. After a tumultuous season of seriously strong contenders, one thing is certain: the right two women made it to the finals.

On the heels of Tuesday’s announcement that ABC show will revamp its format to one episode a week next season, this may be one of the last results shows we will ever see. The show celebrated its 300th episode with performances from The Wanted and Avril Lavigne.

After Monday’s killer competition with three couples earning perfect scores, it’s unclear who will earn the coveted encore. It’s Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough re-dancing their amazing Argentinian tango to the judges’ delight.

Now for the results. The first couple headed to the next round is Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff. They earn a perfect score for their Argentinian tango and it’s enough for the NFL star to sip the hot seat this week.

As expected, Kellie and Derek are headed to the finals, but the rest of the rundown isn’t so predictable. Zendaya is in the bottom for the first time all season! The crowd is shocked that her ill-fated quickstep could yield such catastrophic results. Even though Carrie Ann Inaba called it “a mess” during her critiques, it certainly wasn’t bad enough to send her home after such an awesome showing this season.

Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson are also in jeopardy, drawing unexpected booing from the crowd. Once Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas are deemed safe, it’s clear this soap star’s time is up.

“This has been an amazing experience because I thought I was going to be done in, like, two weeks,” he says after hearing he has been eliminated. “Kym has choreographed the most amazing routines and she catered them toward my two left feet and it got us this far.”

Now that the final four has been revealed, there’s no telling who will take home the disco ball prize. There’s no doubt we’ll see stiff competition from Kellie Pickler, Zendaya and Aly Raisman in the finals — but Jacoby Jones could still surprise us all by maintaining his winning streak.

Since Season 8 kicked off, Vicki and Tamra’s fractured BFF status took center stage.

Many wondered if the two could ever get past their animosity, and resume their friendship once more. You would think the pair’s love for wine business venture may have ended their contentious relationship, and brought them closer together. Apparently, not even all the grapes in the Napa Valley (or in their case Malibu) could make Vicki and Tamra bury the hatchet.

Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode: “Whines by Wives?”

Heather Dubrow, Gretchen Rossi and newcomer Lydia McLaughlin set off to Malibu with Vicki and Tamra for the latter’s Wine by Wives tasting. You can cut the tension between Vicki and Tamra with a plastic surgeon’s knife, as the two are still a bit rocky after Tamra’s gym party blowup between the feisty blonde and Alexis Bellino. Tamra is also a bit irked at Vicki, since she feels (and rightly so) her former bestie isn’t pulling her own weight in their business. It seems Tamra may be onto something, as viewers (and Tamra) learn Vicki has a new alcohol venture she’s all about these days called Vicki’s Vodka. Memo to Vicki, you may want to tell your current business partner about your other booze business deal so things aren’t awkward between the two of you, like it is now.

Meanwhile, Heather is still smarting from she considered her husband Terry’s lack of support regarding her acting career taking off. Heather mentions she and Terry brought up divorce and breaks down, but surprisingly Vicki gives the best advice yet. Don’t mention the “d” word, since they will only create barriers in the relationship.

Will Heather take Vicki’s advice? Vicki and Tamra’s relationship turns sour once again, when Vicki decides to blow off the other ladies and kick it with her L.A. friends for dinner instead. Tamra reminds the insurance maven, they are in Malibu to work, not be social butterflies. The two wind up in a screeching match, resulting in Tamra calling Vicki bitch and Vicki remarking Tamra as miserable.

While we don’t agree with Tamra’s approach, she does have a point. Vicki is in Malibu for their business and not to hang out. If you aren’t interested in being in business with someone anymore, why not just tell them? With how far both Vicki and Tamra have gotten in rebuilding their relationship, you would think they could just be honest with each other about how they feel working together. Instead, in true OC fashion, the ladies pretend everything is ok, right before things turn into a huge disaster. Thus, setting Vicki and Tamra’s progress back. Guess you can’t solve everything over a bottle of wine…

Buzz Moments

OMG!: Heather’s husband Terry clipping his toenails and asking her to do it. Can you say gross??

Thank you, TV gods.: Tamra admitting to her fiancé she may have anger issues. Girl, we’re glad you said it!

Awk-ward: Vicki asking the winery owner if his daughter was his girlfriend. You could hear an ant hold its breath when she did that.

Hotness: Eddie bike riding ensemble. How sexy is he? You go Tamra!

Fab-u-lous: The Malibu winery. How amazing was it with the picturesque views?

Can. Not. Wait.: To see former RHOC Lauri Peterson return, right as Tamra and Vicki are on the outs. I’m also interested to see who did a better acting job between Heather and Alexis.

The ABC show requires two dances from the five remaining couples: one classic style and one viewer requested routine.

Judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli are in rare form tonight, giving out three perfect scores.

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough dance an Argentine tango and as usual, it’s amazing. They earn the first perfect score of the night with the usually tough Len saying he “loved it.” Carrie Ann agrees it’s “perfection” and the pair are back on top after an uncharacteristically tough past week.

Her second try at the Twitter fans’ pick for the pair, the flamenco, is good but not flawless. The judges say she tensed up halfway through the number and she lost the flow. It’s clear the competition has gotten super steep since this routine would have likely earned a “10” earlier in the season. They score a respectable 28 points.

Ingo Rademacher doesn’t impress the judges with his samba. Compared to the rest of the celebrities left in the game, the soap star just doesn’t measure up. “You’re the underdog here and you have the biggest fight to make it into the finals,” says Carrie Ann from the judges’ table. “If we’re really honest, and I think you have to step it up even just a hair more.” The other judges agree and he scores a 24.

His second turn at the dance floor is a little better. Twitter fans chose the Charleston and it seems to suit him better than the last dance. The judges think he played the 20’s character perfectly and are thoroughly entertained. This time, he and partner Kym Johnson nab a few more points with a 27.

Aly Raisman’s rumba blows the judges away and earns her and pro partner, Mark Ballas, a perfect score. The panel notes the perfect balance of sweet and sexy moves from the formerly bashful athlete and rave about her form and the “romance” of the dance.

Her fan-selected Afro-jazz dance is intense and exhilarating to watch. The gymnast is in her element with the super athletic moves and shines at the high-energy pace. Bruno is certain she’s heading to the finals, saying, “If you don’t make it to the final, I’m going to judge in Speedos!” She gets a 29 and takes the lead for the night.

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff are on fire with their Argentinian tango. Even though the pro hurt her neck and back at rehearsals this week, she powers through the pain and dances beautifully. Len loves it, gushing, “Mood. Intensity. Great feel. Ka-ching! Right on the money, Jacoby. That was great!” Carrie Ann demands a smooch from her seat at the judges’ table and Bruno notes the pair’s sexual tension, calling it his best dance of the season. Again, the especially excitable panel awards another perfect score.

Their second stab at the viewer-selected lindy hop routine is strong as well. The crowd goes wild over the high-energy number and Len calls it “full on and fabulous!” Carrie Ann says Jacoby is a standout of the season. “Without a doubt, I vote you the number one entertainer of season 16,” she says. They earn 29 points, tying with Aly and Mark for the lead.

In another shocking twist, Zendaya disappoints judges with her quickstep. Carrie Anne calls it “a mess” and says it looked like she and Val Chmerkovskiy were “dragging each other through the dance.” What? The judges award her a pitiful 25 points. Way harsh!

By the end of her second dance, the judges are eating their words. Her hip-hop routine is a million times better and wins back the panel’s loyalty. “You’ve got to be kidding me. Just get out of here! I mean, that was ridiculous!” exclaims Bruno. “So cool it gives me chills … you were just, ugh! Incredible … Zendaya forever!” She’s all smiles when she hears her perfect score announced. Sweet redemption.

What was the purpose of wiping New York’s power out? Was Victoria’s (Madeleine Stowe) long-lost first-born secretly lurking around the Hamptons even though he had been paid handsomely to stay away? What would Aiden (Barry Sloane) do now that he killed his mentor and was on edge about Emily’s (Emily VanCamp) re-engagement? Does Jack (Nick Wechsler) know what he’s doing, dealing with the Graysons? Who wouldn’t survive the year? And good God, did Declan (Connor Paolo) really procreate!?

Since Revenge has been renewed for a third season, though, not everything could get answered, the writers preferring instead to let things dangle for next year, but so much more did than I expected. This was two hours extremely well spent!

Note: Spoilers ahead if you have yet to see Sunday night’s season finale.

A lot did go down in this season finale, despite not everything I wanted happening. I thought it was best to bullet-point the action in order to cover all the ground in a concise recap.

The Blackout: Nolan (Gabriel Mann) was the only one who seemed to be “on it,” trying to figure out how the blackout was triggered, and more importantly, how to turn the grids back on. Emily caught him up to where the audience was at the end of last week, but not without a few excruciating moments of confused-face first. Then it turns into full-on panic that Aiden would befall a similar fate to David Clarke’s, and that’s what made him double-time his attempts to be a hero and create a fake digital trail of cover for him. The actual blackout, though, was over quicker than it should have been.

The aftermath of Takeda’s death: Emily was once again heartbroken to find someone she genuinely cared about dead, and though this one didn’t die in front of her, she still felt like she should have been able to prevent such a thing. Still, her mission of revenge was set up because of Takeda, and she wanted to continue on in his memory, so she ended up going through his things to find clues as to who could have taken him out. Like she needed a new name to add to her list; she’s strayed far enough already! But this show needs to stretch its story at least over another season, and the emotional turmoil that will come with learning your boyfriend killed your father figure should be pretty juicy. In Takeda’s box, though, Emily found a photo with a face circled and first wrongly assumed he was the killer and that she’d have to warn her boyfriend he, too, could be in danger.

Conrad’s political campaign: In the middle of Conrad’s (Henry Czerny) latest speech, the Hamptons gets a mass text message saying “Long live David Clarke,” and that’s when Grayson Global was bombed. Of course, Conrad immediately spun the event to try to win public support. He had already been making a speech about NYers’ strength, and “We are the first responders!” He bellowed at the cameras that were on-hand for his perfect press op. But he also admitted that his son had cleared out the company, which made things stink like the sewage that sometimes floats in the Atlantic, and it was a piece of leverage that it turned out he needed against his son, who told him he wanted out of the company altogether.

Charlotte’s pregnancy: Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) didn’t make any decisions about what she wanted to do with the baby, but she certainly went on a rollercoaster of emotions about the baby daddy, provoked not by newfound hormones but instead her new BFF Regina (Seychelle Gabriel). It turned out Regina was not getting close to Charlotte just to suck off the teat of fame but because she had a crush on her. She concocted some kind of convoluted story for Charlotte about Declan beating her up and robbing her, and despite Charlotte knowing Declan better than anyone, she believed the story for awhile before Declan called Charlotte to tell him he knew (Victoria dropped the bombshell in his lap)– and that her friend wasn’t what she seemed because she saved a video of them kissing. It was completely childish because unless she was planning to sell it to a tabloid, it shouldn’t matter what she did with it in private, but she was so childish, too, she couldn’t admit to Charlotte what was really going on, and their friendship was not sadly short-lived. But I still wish she had ended up alongside Tyler and Amanda and the Initiative lady and even Takeda as not-so-loved and permanently lost characters.

The Initiative: Yes, they were still talking about it! But the truth finally came out: the Initiative was just a ridiculous, ominous name given to a group of businesspeople doing shady and often illegal deals for their own best interests. They were hiding behind a secretive group title to avoid being caught and held personally responsible, or you know, tried for their sins. Conrad was in on it the whole time, using it to manipulate his son, among millions. Victoria wasn’t.

Terrorism in the Hamptons: Grayson Global was bombed. Thankfully the company had been pretty much cleared out, but all that meant was no random extras were harmed in the filming of this episode. Instead, though, a few key characters were caught in the crossfire: Daniel, whose father told the public his son cleared out the building, which made it look like he knew it was coming; Declan, who for reasons unknown (maybe he was lured there by Victoria who wanted to harm him after learning he got her daughter pregnant) or maybe he was following his big brother like the lost puppy that he is, who also was lured there but by Ashley (Ashley Madekwe), and Aiden, who was set up as the terrorist. But after the police investigated, it was actually Nolan they were looking at as the real person of interest.

The Promised Death: It was Declan! After getting hurt in the bombing, he ended up in the hospital long enough to talk about raising the baby with Charlotte and make Nolan promise to look after Jack, but then he succumbed to his injuries.

A Second Death?: When Daniel showed up at Emily’s, only to find Aiden there instead, the two got in quite the pissing contest, only they used fists to settle the score. Daniel had a lot of pent-up aggression from a combination of things with Emily, Aiden, and his father, and unfortunately he took all of his shortcomings, frustrations, and insecurities out on Aiden, who tried to convince Daniel to let Emily go. Now, we didn’t actually see Aiden get shot, but during the fight, Daniel did find Emily’s gun, and later, Daniel had blood on his shirt. You could argue that blood could be from a fist-fight, sure, but Aiden isn’t the kind of guy who wouldn’t finish the fight if he could, just ask Takeda!

This is Jack’s Uninformed Plan: Jack still thought he could trust Victoria for a good chunk of this finale. He was naive enough to think she didn’t know about David Clarke being set up, and he was naive enough to let her in on the fact that Ashley was in on things with him. But Declan’s death was the fuel that propelled him further down the road of personal revenge. He pulled a gun on Victoria to get her, and the audience, to realize how serious he was about things. He told her she had to be the one to tell Charlotte about Declan, and he was off to see Conrad about actually shooting someone.

Emily and Aiden: As aforementioned, Emily was not happy to learn her boyfriend killed her father figure. She saw the bruises on him and figured it out before he could admit it, which made things worse. He tried to claim Takeda had his own agenda because his fiancee was on the doomed flight, and that, too, added up against him. Still, Emily promised to still help Nolan prove Aiden was innocent of any framing Daniel was attempting, which got a lot harder after the events at Grayson Global, which Daniel of course assumed was Aiden’s doing. Aiden tried to convince Emily to leave with him; he wasn’t quite going on the run, but he was still getting the hell out of the Hamptons while the heat was on him. She couldn’t, or there’d be no season three.

Emily and Daniel: After an episode with an engagement party, Emily and Daniel didn’t spend much time together, so nothing really changed overtly in their relationship. But emotionally, the toll of everything took its turn on her, and she wouldn’t be able to deny Daniel’s involvement in things simply for his bloodline. The most important thing to come out of her time with Daniel tonight was that while she visited him, it provided a plot-pushing-forward moment where she recognized an IT guy as the guy in Takeda’s photo and realized something was about to go down.

Emily and Jack: Though Jack demanded Emily stay away from his family, she couldn’t keep him far from her mind. When Nolan IDed the guy from Takeda’s photo through facial recognition software and got a match that the guy was an assassin of sorts– she worried he was after Jack, who was sent to Grayson Global on a fool’s errand by Ashley. She searched the building, amidst the smoke and debris until she had to literally be pulled out just to make sure he was okay. But he was too distracted to consider what that meant. It wasn’t until she tracked him down going after Conrad that things got really interesting. She was hell-bent on keeping his hands free and clean of blood; she never wanted him to get so mixed up in this mess. She did the only thing she could to get him to be sweet ole Jack again: she told him the truth. That she was Amanda Clarke. It was the cliffhanger moment, but I have to imagine there’s going to be a lot of initial disbelief from Jack, assuming she’s only saying things to confuse him, and then anger at being duped when she manages to prove her real identity. If I had to put money on it, I’d say her lying to him is only going to push him further away as it not only taints his memories of his childhood friend and long-time love but also his recent wife, for whom he had very real feelings (and you know, a son!) regardless of her name.

Patrick: Home alone, Victoria couldn’t work up the words to tell her daughter about Declan, but she had a much bigger problem on her hands because her first-born son finally came a knockin’! Literally. He is in the Hamptons now, but how long has he been there!?

Buzz Moments

OMG!: Would they really make Daniel a killer? Sure, it would make him waaay more interesting, but it would remove not only an important Revenger ally but also a personal complication. And removing too many conflicts makes a story take a back step.

Thank you, TV gods: Ding, dong, Declan’s gone! They trimmed the fat, for sure. Now they just need to bump Ashley off, too, and the show will be a lean, mean, interesting story machine.

Awk-ward: Emily and Victoria actually had a conversation about how alike they are. We were all thinking it, but it’s not something we wanted, or expected, to hear aloud.

Hotness: You could hear congestion in VanCamp’s voice, but despite being under the weather, she delivered an on-point performance through all the emotional ups and downs and looked great doing it.

Fab-u-lous: Nolan still gets all the best lines. Tonight’s gem was about his only post-apocalyptic survival plans being to “call Emily.”

Can. Not. Wait.: Yeah, I should care about what Emily’s revelation means for her and Jack, but honestly, I just want to know who the new eye-candy will be next season aka who will they cast as Patrick? Or did they already cast someone; what if Patrick is the IT guy/assassin!?

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 8 – They finally officially got rid of the Initiative, set up a juicy story for Nolan, killed the useless Declan, and had Emily reveal herself not only to someone important but the most important one. If only these things hadn’t taken so long to happen, I would have graded the whole season this high!

Earlier in the day, the show had shared departure news when Randy Jackson announced he wouldn’t return next season. The only original judge remaining will hang up his Idol hat after 12 seasons of service.

“I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It’s been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company Dream Merchant 21 and other business ventures,” he said in a statement.

The news came as a surprise to host, Ryan Seacrest, who alluded to the Dawg’s departure without addressing it directly. With rumors swirling that the whole panel will be dismissed, the fate of the floundering show remained as uncertain as tonight’s top three contenders’ destiny.

After last night’s three-round battle for a finale spot, Kree Harrison, Angie Miller and Candice Glover anxiously awaited the results. Each woman won a round according to Jimmy Iovine and all three boast big reasons to stay in the game.

Candice has been consistent throughout the competition, delivering dynamic diva-worthy performances all season. Iovine seems certain she’s staying put. “If she goes home, I’m going with her,” he said.

Kree has been a front-runner from the start with spot-on pitch and her sweet, soulful sound.

Meanwhile, Angie has proven she can carry any style song and serves up twice the passion at the piano. She’s also the only one who hasn’t been in the bottom.

After Alicia Keys performed “Tears Always Win,” at the piano, Mariah Carey debuted her new video for “Beautiful” featuring Miguel. Truth be told, I hate this song.

But once Idol alum Lauren Alaina was done belting out “Barefoot And Buckwild,” it’s time for the real results.

Candice was first to hear she’s safe. There was no way this girl wasn’t going to the finale. This is her year.

Who will join her in the final round? Kree Harrison — and Angie was sent packing!

After tearing up at her highlights reel, she sobbed through the end of her exit song, Colton Dixon’s “ Never Gone.”

It’s too bad she waited until her final song to let loose with her emotions. She has had an impermeable cloak of perfection surrounding her all season and now she decided to drop the wall.

Understandably surprised after last night’s amazing set of stellar songs, Angie is shocked that her time is up. Although I think the country made the right choice, it’s sad to see her go. She’s done an amazing job this season and she really wanted to win.

All three women had to perform three songs this week; a judges’ pick, a production pick, and one song selected by Jimmy Iovine. By the end of the night, the music mogul said each girl won a round, but I think the night belonged to Candice. She continues to prove she’s in a league of her own, even with her formidable opponents.

For the first round, the ladies will lend their voices to songs chosen by Jimmy Iovine. For Kree, he picks “Prefect” by Pink and I have no idea why. He’s been bugging me all season, but now I’m really peeved. This song does nothing for Kree’s beautiful voice and it’s so against her style.

Candice cracks U2’s “One” wide open with her ridiculous range and killer control. While I’m once again annoyed by Jimmy’s silly song choice, Candice still pulls it off.

Angie gets “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” by Elton John and she doesn’t even use the piano. What a waste. Her vocals are good and she really seems to be feeling this one without being corny and theatrical. It’s like she’s showing genuine emotion for the first time all season. I thought she would be the underdog this week, but if this performance is any indication, we may be in for an upset.

Round two features some snoozey selections from judges, Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey.

Candice’s version of “Next To Me” by Emily Sande is super strong vocally, but I don’t love this song for her. It’s fun and light-hearted but I want to hear Candice sing her heart out. This tune doesn’t provide the platform for her to do that. Still, it’s a solid showing.

Angie does a better job at Pink’s “Try” than I thought she would. Even though she seems to be uncertain what to do with her body during an up-tempo song, she pulls off the big chorus’ and edgy lyrics very well. She also proves that her sometimes show-tuney voice could be well suited for radio. This girl came to play!

Kree gives a lackluster performance of Rascal Flatts’ “Here Comes Goodbye.” It may be a bad omen for what’s to come tomorrow night if she doesn’t bring it in the next round. It’s not that it’s bad — it’s just not the knockout delivery I’ve come to expect from this brown-haired beauty. Something is off. Come on, Kree!

The third round raises the bar with production’s picks for the last ladies standing.

Angie sings “Maybe” by Emily Sande (Seriously, are they plugging a certain artist tonight?) and finally takes her seat at the piano. I wish she would have used it earlier–it’s truly her sweet spot. Still, this turn may be enough to get her through, as the vocals are spot on and she’s finally emoting. Still, everything she sings sounds the same to me, and a bit too Broadway to stand against radio ready Kree and Candice. The truth is, I’m totally torn. Angie deserves to stay around after her strong showing tonight.

When Kree belts out “Better Dig Two” by the The Band Perry, I’m a little disappointed that this is her last chance to steal a spot. She seems defeated by the big notes, even though we know she can hit them. Maybe the subject matter is daunting after her emotional trip to the home she shared with her deceased parents. I get that the story is important, but at this point the producers are milking it and it may be getting to her. Her voice is still beautiful, but Angie is doing a little too well for her to be so iffy.

Candice closes the show with “Somewhere” from West Side Story and it’s incredible. She earns the night’s only standing ovation and seals her spot in the finale for sure. This girl is on fire.

The ABC competition cut the six remaining couples down to the five semi-finalists and featured a performance from Jason Derulo.

After last night’s night of high and low points, Zendaya’s perfect-scoring salsa trio and Kellie Pickler’s surprisingly low score of 7 from Len Goodman made tonight’s results show more interesting than usual.

The encore goes to Zendaya, Gleb Savchenko and Val Chmerkovskiy. Their three-person salsa routine scored the first 30 of the season, so of course we would get a replay. And surprise, surprise — the crowd-pleasing teen was named on of the few to be on her way to the semifinals. Was there any doubt?

Another predictable pair to head to the winner’s circle was Aly Raisman and her partner, Mark Ballas. These two have been frontrunners from the start and show no signs of slowing down now.

In a shocking twist, the other sure-win for the semi-finals was in jeopardy for the first time this season. The crowd was in an uproar when the hosts called Kellie Pickler to the chopping block. Guess the home viewers agreed with Len’s harsh critique of the country cutie, despite her stellar showing all season.

There’s no way she and Derek Hough are heading home. Just. No. Way.

Just as shocking was the announcement that Ingo Rademacher and his partner, Kym Johnson, were safe.

Seriously, this guy’s got some loyal fans because his dance moves stink — for real. They run another special segment about his super cute kid, but it’s starting to feel like overkill. We get it. He’s a dad. Moving on.

Jacoby Jones just couldn’t catch a break. The football star seriously improved over the course of the competition and his shirt-ripping number definitely earned rave reviews from the judge’s Monday night. Still, the voters put him back on the bottom for the second week in a row. His partner, Karina Smirnoff, seemed particularly surprised by their return to the scary place.

Also on the bottom was The Bachelor‘s Sean Lowe. He and Peta Murgatroyd served up a double dose of duds last night and the judges weren’t impressed. I thought he might’ve stood a chance against Ingo on the bottom this week, but with Kellie sitting in the hot seat, I’m thinking he’s toast.

The whole studio breathed a sigh of relief when Kellie and Derek were told they’re safe. They’ll continue their battle for the top spot in the semi-finals where they belong.

As expected, it was Sean’s last night in the ballroom. He didn’t seem too surprised by the bad news and made a gracious exit.

Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli had plenty of moves to critique with each of the contenders performing a regular routine and a threesome act. (Okay, that sounded weird.)

Here’s how it went: each celebrity danced one round with two pro partners at once.

At first I didn’t like the idea at all. (Like seriously, what’s with all the twists this season?) Fortunately, once it got going, the result were pretty cool.

Here’s who caught my eye this week.

Kellie Pickler might have stolen the spotlight last week, but this week Zendaya was back in full force. Her first dance is a fun foxtrot to “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” Bruno gave her a 10 while Carrie Ann and Len both gave her a 9.

Later, the talented teen nabbed a perfect score for her salsa trio with Val Chmerskovskiy and Lisa Vanderpump’s pro, Gleb Savchenko. Bruno said the sexy salsa routine was “sizzling, dazzling and amazing.” Carrie Ann and Len clearly agree.

Aly Raisman was awesome as usual. She and Mark Ballas danced the Argentinian tango that blew the judges away. They were surprised by her sex appeal and confidence and give her a high score of 29. When Henry Byalikov joined them for a jovial jive to “Hit The Road Jack,” she had a little technical trouble. Carrie Ann said she was “flat-footed,” but still gave her a 9 along with the rest of the panel.

Judges loved Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough’s Viennese waltz. The singer reflected on an emotional week spent remembering her deceased grandmother, and brought her feelings to the fog-filled floor. Len said the slowed down dance was “sophisticated” and the panel gave her a 28.

However, she was not so lucky with her next spin on the dance floor with Derek and Tristan MacManus. Their peculiar paso garnered mixed reviews from the panel and sent the crowd into an uproar. While the dramatic dance prompted Carrie Ann to hit the floor for a hug before giving her a perfect score, Len hated the whole thing and gave her a 7! (And the crowd went wild with the boos.) Bruno was onboard and matched Carrie Ann’s 10. Talk about creative differences.

Jacoby Jones was determined to earn a perfect score before the competition is over. While his Viennese waltz with pro partner, Karina Smirnoff, was impressive, it was not enough for a 10. He did, however, rip off his shirt and flash a perfect pair of pecs — so bonus points for that for sure! The sexy pair scored a respectable 27, nabbing 9’s from all three judges.

However, they weren’t so kind Jacoby and Karina joined Cheryl Burke for the next dance. As usual, the football pro jumped over the ladies and flung them around like rag dolls. Bruno said, “It was like a paso doble by Quentin Tarentino,” and the judges gave them a 25, drawing more boos from the audience.

Sean Lowe had a tough night with partner Peta Murgatroyd. Their tango to Katy Perry’s “Hot & Cold” was exactly that. His sloppy footwork and off-beat movements disappointed Carrie Ann, and Bruno and Len flat out called it “ugly.” Ouch.

His try at a threesome wasn’t much better, even with the help of Sharna Burgess. Their jazz dance didn’t work out either and it came off more corny than classy. Both dances earned him a meager 21 points and likely another trip to the bottom tomorrow night.

Who do you think should go home?

As Vicki attempted to navigate through the murky waters of her friendship with Tamra, Vicki tried to convince her daughter Briana of all the positives her relationship with ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers had, if she only gave him a chance. Will Vicki get her wish? Don’t count on it.

Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode: “A Star Is Reborn?”

Tired of being without the one she loves, Vicki decided to meet up with Brooks, where viewers learned the two took a little detour from their love train in order to reevaluate their relationship. Apparently, Briana and her hubby Ryan demanded Brooks stay away while they resided with Vicki. As the two caught up on things, Vicki was devastated to discover Brooks was seeing other people, while she sat shiva over their relationship. Not for nothing Vicki, but did you honestly think Brooks wouldn’t see other people? You two did decide to take a break.

As Vicki poured her heart out to Brooks on being torn between wanting him back and not losing her daughter, Brooks calmly informed Vicki if it were his house, Briana would have to do as he say under his roof. Glad it ain’t your crib then Brooks! Although Vicki clearly isn’t happy about Ryan and Briana telling her whom she can and cannot see, she refrains from telling Brooks she is not kicking her daughter and grandchild out of her house.

What type of man is cool with a woman putting out her daughter and grandson, just so he can come over? We get Brooks isn’t down with Briana’s demands, but does he honestly think he can come in between Vicki and her baby girl? While Brooks made a valid point to Vicki saying he wasn’t trying to win Briana and Ryan over, you would think he would try to prove everyone wrong about his shifty and shady ways. Instead, Brooks has further shown Briana and Vicki’s former BFF Tamra Barney were right on being wary about his motives. Score one for you, Brooks.

Buzz Moments

OMG!: Heather Dubrow going off on her husband’s harmless joke regarding letting the kids go crazy while she’s filming Hot In Cleveland. It’s a joke girl, relax!!

Thank you, TV gods.: Alexis’ husband demanding she stand up for herself. DO IT already! We know you’re into the Lord, but we’re sure he’d understand.

Awk-ward: Lydia McLaughlin’s mother sprinkling ”fairy dust” on people. How random is that?

Hotness: Vicki’s fur coat. She’s wearing it in California but she wore it well!

Fab-u-lous: Tamra and Vicki’s offices for their wine. Not bad for a start up

Can. Not. Wait.: Vicki and Tamra’s heated exchange at the vineyard. Seems like one for the history books.

With only one episode* left of ABC’s Revenge, the show sure is taking its sweet time diving into the juicy bits of Emily’s (Emily VanCamp)– and now Jack (Nick Wechsler), Nolan (Gabriel Mann), and Aiden’s (Barry Sloane)– titular plans. Instead, the antepenultimate episode spent way too much time focusing on Emily and Daniel’s (Josh Bowman) second fake engagement. It wasn’t a surprise, given that “Engagement” was the title of the episode, but admittedly I was hoping for something a little less literal and more to discuss the arrangements of revenge plans and performances in general.

* Technically, it’s two but they’re being presented one long, back-to-back, “Part One and Part Two” all-night event scenario that’s kind of a cheat.

Note: Spoilers ahead for Sunday night’s “Engagement.”

Naturally, there was a lot of “rubbing it in the Graysons’ faces” that Daniel and Emily were newly betrothed. He sat down and smirked (a face ripe for punching!) with his father about wanting full access to his trust fund. Ah, guess he can’t afford a proper ring on his measly Grayson Global salary, right? Probably, because he announced his plans to cut his ties with the company and move to Paris with Emily. The sad thing is, he really seemed like he believed he was the one calling the shots here, and Emily aside, he shouldn’t for one second believe Conrad (Henry Czerny), who claimed the trust fund money was being “invested” alongside the rest of the family money.

Emily, meanwhile, took a moment to gloat in front of Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) after asking the re-troubled Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) to be her maid-of-honor. Hopefully Emily meant it when she told Charlotte that being her sister through marriage would mean they would be in each others’ lives more because someone has to pay attention to that kid. She managed to get in the tabloids, get pregnant (we’ll get to that in a minute, but yes, seriously), and pick up a friend who unironically calls her “Charlie” with no one noticing at all. Victoria, of course, is up to her neck reading mail from every male born in 1973, climbing out of the woodwork, hoping she’s his long lost mommy to finally get a piece of the gold-flaked pie. But even that’s not really a proper excuse. She tossed one kid aside all those years ago, and she’s doing the same to the one under her roof right now, too.

The thing was, though, that Nolan– with a little help from his hacker buddy who he got locked up and then had the audacity to visit in prison and ask for help– learned that Victoria had actually paid off her son. She sent him five million dollars over to go away and not interfere with her fancy, schmancy life. After the stunt on Nightline, no amount of money would have gotten me to stay away; that interview was just begging for an appearance from the mystery man who clearly cashed in on his birthright but was still denied the fame that came along with his lineage. And in this day and age, everyone wants the fame more than the money, right?

Victoria was also distracted by Jack, who turned up at her house with the evidence of Conrad and the Governor’s wife meeting in secret. Jack claimed he brought it to her because she had the best shot of getting through to her husband, and he was just thinking of the campaign, but he was playing it smarter than most, getting under her skin and scratching at an already picked-over scab in their relationship. She planned to “handle it,” but Olivia Pope she is not. Visiting with the wife, she learned the opponent had a fatal heart condition that might not allow him to live past the end of the campaign, and the wife didn’t want to ruin their remaining days by exposing it to the press. She pleaded with Victoria to see reason: that the job is a death sentence, and if she loves her husband, she’ll convince him to only take on term. Assuming he wins. Me thinks Victoria sees a way out. Dare we say she may start to slowly poison Conrad, blaming his newfound symptoms on the stress of the job!?

Daniel did take about half a day to actually go into his office at Grayson Global, though– you know, putting up appearances that he actually cares about the company and whatnot while really just doing background checks on his employees, namely Aiden. Daniel learned that Aiden’s father was the man accused of putting the bomb on that doomed flight all those years earlier and fired him on the spot, while still managing to let his outrage that he could be misled cloud his judgement not only in not keeping a supposed enemy close but also nearly letting the details about the Initiative slip to this new enemy. That boy is not smart. It just goes to show: you can pay for a fancy education, but you can’t bribe the knowledge to sink in.

The biggest surprise of the episode, though, was that Aiden being found out was not a part of the plan. It was probably a good thing, because as aforementioned, Daniel is not smart enough to be brought up to speed. Plus, he’s such a flip-flopper when it comes to his stance on his family.

Instead, it was Takeda (Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa) who ratted Aiden out, and the two come to blows after the engagement party (of course, it can never just be a normal day, right?). Daniel was tied up bailing the newly pregnant Charlotte out of jail for being mistakenly arrested for public intoxication and underage drinking. Her puking outside the club she really had no business being in was a result of morning sickness coming at night– or maybe the nausea side effects of the “morning after” pill. That was left unclear. Her new social climber pal got her pills, but we never saw what kind they were. Presumably Charlotte has been pregnant for awhile, but I wouldn’t put it past her not to know how the morning after pill works. Intelligence is genetic. And apparently, so is the ability to repeat mistakes of previous generations. Let’s hope Charlotte doesn’t give up her baby to go to Ivy League and then have Grandma pay him off as a teenager, too…

Anyway, Emily and Nolan were rehashing recent events, including her most recent attempt to warn Jack about not getting in over his head. Jack ended up calling a truce with Victoria, but who knows if either of them meant it? While all of these things were happening, Aiden and Takeda were sword-fighting. That is not a euphemism. They literally pulled swords on each other. How…gallant? It certainly should have provided for a tense scene because everyone knows such duels are to the death (and here that remained true, with Aiden taking out his former mentor once and for all), but it was hard not to laugh at the sheer extravagance of it.

When all was said and done, Aiden and Nolan worked together to drain some of the Graysons’ bank account…just as the power went out in New York. Yes, folks, the great Revolution-style threat that the show had been looming all season finally paid off, after weeks without mention. It seemed that computer program Nolan was so worried about was enacted; the writers had not forgotten about it after all, nor decided to scrap it due to the similar story already playing out on NBC. The Falcon held the power (no pun intended) in that situation, and it seemed that even from prison, she was stronger and more capable than her initial easy capture would have implied. Unfortunately, it seemed Takeda could have helped in this situation, if only Aiden hadn’t let his emotions get the best of him. Maybe Takeda was right that Aiden was getting in the way of success…

The Hamptons is in the dark now, and for a group of people so dependent on luxuries, we expect things to get very ugly, very fast.

Buzz Moments

OMG!: Carrion was triggered by the assault on the Graysons’ bank account. Victoria certainly knew what she was doing by hiring The Falcon after all; she protected her most important asset: her money (not her kids).

Thank you, TV gods: Charlotte finally got a real story and a real purpose! Even if it means Declan (Connor Paolo) has reproduced. We’ll try not to focus on that part, though…

Awk-ward: Victoria calling Emily out for not really being in love made me wonder if things go really badly, if Emily could get just as trapped in another bad Grayson relationship and actually end up just like Victoria a decade or so down the line.

Hotness: Aiden should get extra credit for not only using Takeda’s teachings, but also his own sword, against him.

Fab-u-lous: Prison orange is not a flattering color on anyone, but Nolan really rubbed the tragedy of that fashion stumpment in with his stylish prison visit ensemble. Everyone may have hated Smash‘s scarves, but Nolan pulls them off!

Can. Not. Wait.: Who will die on the season finale!? We were promised a major death that will affect Emily reevaluating her own revenge plans. It better be someone closer than Takeda!

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 6 – This close to the end, this show really needs to step it up with the drama and the deaths and the relationship drama that causes us to care about these characters. Because right now, I agree with Aiden that Emily needs to just give up this mission.
