On last night’s episode of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, the city is hit with the super storm and the power goes out as things get more and more out of control and frightening with every passing minute.

Warning: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen Thursday’s season 9 finale, “Perfect Storm.”

I don’t think that there was really a single character that didn’t have some huge revelation or near-death experience or something awful happen to them; and since I’d be writing all night if I tried to cover them all, I’m going to have to just pick out some highlights.

First of all, Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) story in this one was amazing. Cristina (Sandra Oh) pointing out all the ways that Meredith has almost died over the years made me laugh a little, because it was sadly very true. You’d think after watching this woman nearly die over and over again, I’d get at the very least bored with it, but I’ll be darned if she didn’t break my heart again in this one. Meredith teaching Shane how to save her life and then ordering him to let her go just about killed me. It made the final moments when we saw her with her new baby and her daughter and husband that much sweeter.

When you think about it, a lot of stories bounced off of Meredith’s. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) was able to pull herself together and get back in an O.R. to save her friend. And how sweet was it that Meredith decided to name her son Bailey? Then there was Cristina and Owen’s (Kevin McKidd) story. Cristina seeing Derek (Patrick Dempsey) with his newborn son reminded Cristina of how Owen looked when he was with Ethan and she knows she’s not enough for him. Okay, so maybe Alex (Justin Chambers) and Jo (Camilla Luddington) weren’t entirely connected to Meredith’s story, but her baby did make it into their NICU so that still kind of counts. Alex finally told Jo he loved her and I felt like it was way more special because we waited so long for it to finally happen.

In addition to all of the personal drama, there were all of the individual crises that happened all over the hospital. From the babies in the NICU (by the way, who else was yelling at their TV screens saying “Make the parents vent the babies! Jeesh!”?), to the bus accident and subsequent explosion, there was a lot going on and it felt like nearly every doc, or their patients, were in mortal danger throughout the entire episode. It was dark and powerful and exciting and scary and poignant and sad and I pretty much loved the whole thing. God, do I love finale season. The only thing that sucks about finale season is the fact that we get these fantastic episodes, but they always end in cliffhangers and we have to wait months to find out what happens next. Let the countdown to fall begin.

OMG!: The bus flying over the embankment as everyone watch in terror through the hospital windows.

Thank you, TV gods.: Meredith lives! The baby is fine! Alex tells Jo he loves her!

Awk-ward: Arizona screaming at Callie that she wanted to get out a bone saw so she could even the score with Callie. Ouch.

Hotness: Jackson running out from behind a burning bus with a child in his arms. Talk about a super hero moment.

Fab-u-lous: The title card flashing off and on as if flickering from a power surge. That was brilliant.

Can. Not. Wait.: For fall. Need I say more? Will Richard live? Will Alex and Jo survive? Are Cristina and Owen really over? Are Callie and Arizona really over? I can’t wait to see what happens with every single storyline.

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 9. I really wanted to give this one a 10 purely because of all of the emotional responses it brought out in me, but it still didn’t quite hold up to some episodes in earlier seasons that had me bawling like a baby. Those are the ones that get 10′s from me, but this one was darn close.

This week, the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital batten down the hatches in preparation for a megastorm. Meanwhile, the storms happening inside the walls might be more damaging than those on the outside.

*Warning: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen Thursday’s episode, “Readiness Is All.”*

Okay folks, this is one of those episodes where I pretty much loved everything, so I’m going to just take each storyline in order of which ones I loved the most. Once again Alex and Jo get top billing for making us wonder who exactly retaliated on Jason and turned his brain into scrambled eggs. Not that I wouldn’t blame Alex if he’d done it, and we all know he would have done it if he’d had the chance, but I’m glad that it turned out that Jo was actually the one who took Jason down. It was a nice twist to not have Alex do it and it proved that Jo is a badass herself. I thought it was pretty smart of Alex to blackmail Jason into keeping everything a secret, but I will (reluctantly) admit that Derek had a point about that not necessarily being the right thing to do. I was all ready for Alex and Jo to kiss in the end, but that darn tree got in the way. I wonder if the moment is gone for now or if they can get that close again in the finale.

On the baby front, we had Meredith waddling around just 3 weeks away from her due date, which of course means that everything in the hospital is instantly out to kill her. She narrowly escapes a possibly explosive O.R. (“I’ve been through something like this before, it didn’t end well.”) only to slip and fall on the steps. I have to admit that I figured it would be baby time right then and there, but they pulled a fast one on us and she turned out to be perfectly fine. I was practically jumping up and down with joy in the end when her water broke, but something tells me that the birth isn’t going to go as well as that fall down the stairs did.

Did I call that whole thing with Owen and Ethan or what? I just knew that Owen was going to want to adopt Ethan and that whole chat between him and Meredith was beautiful. When it was over, I was all ready for him to tell Cristina he was taking the kid home and maybe even hoping that she’s suddenly be okay with it since Ethan was a boy and not a tiny little baby. But then the dad woke up and ruined Owen’s dreams and mine as well.

Matthew’s proposal to April was beyond cute, but why do I have this sinking feeling that he’s going to die now? I guess I must be too used to this show and its propensity for breaking our hearts just when we start to like a character.

Wait, actually I did think of a storyline that I didn’t like. The one with Arizona and Lauren actually made me angry. Though I’m mad at both of them, I have to say that Lauren gets more of my wrath. I will just never understand a person who flirts with someone else’s spouse. Plus, Arizona and Callie just got through a whole bunch of crap this year and now this woman is going to come in and make things bad for them again.

OMG!: Meredith falling down the stairs!

Thank you, TV gods.: Finding out that Meredith and the baby were both okay after her fall.

Awk-ward: Pretty much everything that came out of Brooks’ mouth in this episode.

Hotness: Alex and Jo standing in front of the window when Alex was *this* close to telling Jo that he loved her.

Fab-u-lous: Matthew’s proposal to April. That sweet and cool all at the same time.

Can. Not. Wait.: To see Derek and Meredith’s baby being born.

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 9. Definitely a great episode with a ton of excitement and strong storylines from pretty much every character.

Referred to as “the embodiment of [The Voice]” by Rolling Stone, Katrina Parker was a Semi-Finalist on Team Adam during Season 2 of the hit show. Katrina’s currently recording her debut album and stopping in weekly to discuss her favorite moments from Season 4 with us.

It feels like The Voice battles were over before they even began this season, but I’ve enjoyed them regardless. Now there’s a lot of ground to cover, so let’s knit a sweater and talk about some of this week’s highlights.

Most Entertaining Coach. After Craig Perkins lost his battle to Kris Thomas, Usher made him sweat awhile. He waited until poor Craig talked and talked and hugged Adam Levine before jumping in to make a Steal. It was a little cruel but a LOT entertaining. While I don’t always agree with his choices, there is no doubt that Usher is damn good TV.  Even without last week’s wacky role plays and epic stare downs, that 11^th hour Steal wins him “Most Entertaining” for the second week in a row.

If This Hair Could Talk. I loved loved loved Monique Abbadie’s candy apple red hair and the pinup do she sported during her battle with the surprising Luke Edgemon. It was the perfect complement to her 50’s/Jetsons style dress and only enhanced her ability to channel “the perfect amount of Tabasco” for  Shakira, helping her win the battle and move on to Knockouts.

Not Of This Earth. The voice of Sarah Simmons is from another planet. The aliens sent it down to us (much like they sent down Superman), and now we get to enjoy it here on Earth. I liked her blind audition, but her battle performance of “Wanted You more” was a revelation. Her voice is incredible –flexible and ethereal, gritty in the most unexpected places. God help the person who competes against her next.

Saddest Backstory. It was heartbreaking to hear that Vedo’s mom passed away after his blind audition. Despite the dramatic background music telling me to be sad, I was genuinely sad about this. Vedo was a champ though and performed admirably, winning his battle and making his momma proud.

Kids! They grow up so fast. When Blake Shelton chose “Little White Church” for Jacqui Sandell and Savannah Berry, I was puzzled. Jacqui’s a bit rock n’ roll, and Savannah’s voice sounds more at home on a country ballad. Neither seemed particularly well suited to the song during rehearsals, but Savannah came onstage with a saucy attitude we hadn’t previously seen and gave a feisty, battle-winning performance. Our little girl’s growing up fast, y’all!

Duos Do It Better. Out of the three duos going into battle this season, two came out victorious – The Swon Brothers and Midas Whale. This is a good average for a show that’s never really laid out the welcome mat for duos and a pretty delightful turn of events.

Most Surprising Lack of Steals. Everyone loved Jessica Childress during her blind audition, and she slayed “Locked out of Heaven” (despite the song key being out of her comfort zone). She deserved a spot in the Knockout rounds, and I’m shocked no one pushed their button.

That’s called the Kid’n Play. When they cut to Usher giving Blake a “much needed” dance lesson, everyone at home prayed the lesson would take. Maybe Blake will be a dance prodigy and put aside his country moonwalk for good? Maybe I’ll become a physicist? Any dream’s possible with The Voice.

Montage This. I have a suggestion. Why don’t we make more time to see FULL battles next season by cutting these silly “step out of the Kia” moments on the red carpet? Then we won’t have to miss battles like Michelle Chamuel’s, which was probably awesome (we’ll never know, will we?).

Shake, Rattle and Roll. When Adam revealed “Burning Love” as his song choice for Midas Whale’s battle against Patrick Dodd, I squealed a little. When they did a fun folk/bluegrass arrangement of it, I squealed some more. I’m of the opinion that everyone needs more Elvis in their lives (my bobblehead Elvis agrees!). This was an inspired choice on Adam’s part and one of the most interesting battles this season. While I’m sad to lose Patrick’s raspy, lived-in voice, I’m happy we’ll have more time with the hilarious Midas Whale.

The Claws Come Out.
My least favorite moments this week were Cathia’s interactions with Mary Miranda during their pre-battle rehearsals of “Antes de las Seis.” From relishing the fact that Mary didn’t know the song in their first rehearsal to throwing her under a bus with Shakira in their final rehearsal, Cathia’s poor sportsmanship detracted from her fantastic battle performance. Let’s hope her new coach Usher helps her straighten up and fly right, because when it comes to Live rounds? Being likeable means everything.

PS: I remember getting my song assignment the DAY OF my first battle rehearsal in Season 2. I didn’t know the song well and had little time to learn it before rehearsing with Adam on camera. It was terrifying, so I empathize with Mary’s situation. It’s not about being unprepared. Sometimes you just don’t know the song, y’all.

Best of the Bruno Mars Songbook. The real winner of the battles this week was Bruno Mars, who had not 1 but 2 songs on Monday’s episode – “Locked out of Heaven” and “It Will Rain.” How about doing his entire catalogue before the season ends? Because if loving Bruno Mars is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.

Alex McCord has been a witness to all sorts of crazy on The Real Housewives of New York City, but last night’s episode of Orange County really took the cake.

The Real Housewives of Orange County returned to claim their spot as the original divas of dysfunction. Time still hasn’t healed the rift between former BFF’s Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney. The last time the two were in a room together, it was nearly a bloodbath.

Why won’t Vicki and Tamra kiss and make up already? After the way the two left their relationship once the reunion episode ended, it was obvious to say they wouldn’t have a spa day consisting of braiding each other’s hair over international coffee. Even though both Vicki and Tamra claimed they would not reach out to the other, the two just couldn’t stop focusing on each other during tonight’s entire episode!

While Tamra was out shopping with new bestie Gretchen Rossi, all Tamra talked about was the vicious email Vicki sent her, and her refusal to send the insurance mogul her best regarding the birth of her first grandchild. Meanwhile, Vicki claimed, “I’m all about renovating right now,” but all she kept renovating (besides her new face) over is what would Tamra and Gretchen think about her plastic surgery.

Listen, we get it’s hard to say you’re sorry, but either do it and move forward or stop the catty trash talk behind the other’s back! Clearly Vicki, Tamra, and Gretchen have some serious issues to work out amongst each other, but focusing so much on the other person isn’t going to get things squared away.

As the ladies all made their way to Heather DuBrow’s place for a clambake, the tension mounted when Vicki, Tamra and Gretchen came face-to-face with each other. Will the women work out their differences? Stay tuned.

Kenya Moore demands to know where she stands in her relationship with Walter Jackson on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

All season, Kenya has attempted to net an engagement ring from her beau Walter to no avail. Last week, both Kenya and Walter met up to discuss where exactly there romance stood since their ill-fated trip to Anguilla. Despite Kenya’s claims that she is “wifey material,” the towing king of Atlanta never buckled to Kenya’s pressure.

Note: Spoilers ahead if you haven’t viewed Sunday’s episode, “Off The Hook.”

Kenya decided to plan a fishing trip with Walter to see how things were after their disastrous conversation about marriage. The former beauty queen just couldn’t understand why Walter was being so standoffish with her, and wouldn’t pop the question. Kenya took the bull by the horns and asked Walter where their relationship stood, and what seemed to keep him from moving forward. Walter admitted Kenya’s pressure about engagement turned him off. He simply was not ready for that step.

Kenya remarked she doesn’t want a proposal unless it’s what Walter desires. Walter countered and mentioned that Kenya always brought the subject of marriage up, so it’s obvious she wants to be a bride. Will Kenya and Walter make it?

Things for the duo took a bad turn when Kenya commented whenever the pair took a shower, Walter never made a move to touch her. Walter snipped how should he know when Kenya’s in the mood for a little water sports in the shower?

An emotional Kenya claimed she didn’t know if Walter was attracted to her anymore, since he doesn’t seem to be interested in being intimate with her. Walter scoffed and asked why their issues always seem to lie with him. He suggested maybe the problem is with Kenya. Kenya retorted if she and Walter had conflicts, they needed to hash things out in a reasonable way. Walter fired back that Kenya wanted to rush things, and he wasn’t about to compromise himself just to please her. Fed up, Kenya told Walter their relationship was at an impasse and stormed off.

OMG!: NeNe Leakes admitting to her BFF Cynthia Bailey she ran a DNA test on her granddaughter, aka “Glam baby.” Mama Leakes is rich, very rich for a reason!

Staying true to its name, this week’s episode of Fox’s Glee was stuffed.

Quinn returns to McKinley, Marley struggles to be perfect, Rachel faces Brody for the first time since he slept with Cassie, Kurt calls Blaine, Tina gets a song to sing, Sarah Jessica Parker has a kiki and, oh yeah, it’s Sectionals!

Note: Spoilers if you haven’t watched Thursday’s episode, “Thanksgiving.”

Quinn Fabray (Dianna Agron) is back! But she’s not alone: Puck (Mark Salling), Mercedes (Amber Riley), Santana (Naya Rivera), Mike (Harry Shum Jr.) and Finn (Cory Monteith) are all home for Thanksgiving too. So obviously, they reunite in the auditorium and sing a big, emotional mashup of Paul Simon’s “Homeward Bound” and Phillip Phillips‘ “Home.” Maybe it was the sight of most of the original glee club together again — or the exceptional harmonies — but it definitely ranked as one of my favorite musical numbers in Glee history.

New Directions’ fearless leader, Finn, pairs each new glee club member with a returning veteran. Jake (Jacob Artist) gets paired with his half brother Puck, Ryder (Blake Jenner) gets Mike, Unique (Alex Newell) lands Mercedes (the words “SHASHAY” and “SHANTE”  were exchanged), Marley (Melissa Benoist) gets pairs with Santana and Kitty (Becca Tobin) gets life lessons from her idol Quinn. The Cheerio is so obsessed with Quinn, she even has her photo — and WWQFD? (What Would Quinn Fabray Do?) — in her locker. Oy vey.

However, seeing the Unholy Trinity back together made me long to pull out my Glee Season 1 DVDs. You know, back when Quinn was the glee-otch, Mercedes was the diva, Puck was the sensitive bad boy and Finn was the hopeless jock in love with the naive star-in-the-making.

Of course, then Kitty has to create drama and ruin everything. Kitty lies to Quinn, telling her Jake is pressuring Marley to have sex. This prompts Quinn to flip ber b**** switch and turn into “Loopy Quinn.” She tells Jake to stay away from Marley, because he’s distracting her from winning Sectionals. But, really, the only thing distracting Marley is the hunger she feels because she has an eating disorder thanks to Kitty.

So when Santana confronts Quinn about Kitty’s bad behavior, Quinn launches into a rant about how Santana was always jealous of her. You see, at Yale, Quinn has found herself a 35-year-old married psychology professor. But when Santana throws Beth in her face, things get ugly. Basically, they exchange b**** slaps. Hey, it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without the drama!

Sadly, Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) skipped out on the Thanksgiving reunion — and the subsequent trip to Breadstix — so that they could stay in New York and become “better versions of themselves.” In other words, Rachel convinces Kurt to stay in the city and host an “Orphan Thanksgiving” in Bushwick. Well, doesn’t that just sound like the best time ever?

Rachel ends up inviting Brody (Dean Geyer) — who’s totally not apologizing for his tryst with Cassie because he says Rachel blew him off for Finn. Fair point, Brody. So while Brody and Rachel flirt while lubricating a turkey, Kurt waits for Isabel (Sarah Jessica Parker) to arrive. Isabel is late — but her island of misfit toys brood isn’t.

Hey, look, it’s SHANGELA from RuPaul’s Drag Race! Oh, wait, is that the Scissor Sisters’ “Let’s Have a Kiki” playing in the background? Yep, and that’s when things go downhill. I could have gone without the three-minute kiki for some more time with Marley and Santana. You know, perhaps we could have seen Santana have a heart-to-heart with Marley about her serious eating disorder. But no, instead, we got a kiki.

Back at McKinley, it’s time for Sectionals! Poor Marley is a dazed and confused mess, prompting Ryder to hand over his “Gangnam Style” dance solo over to his bro Jake, who we learn is actually a ballerina, in order to secure a Sectionals victory. Now Ryder lost his girl and his big moment on stage. But hey, at least he’s leaning how to read. Anyway, something tells me this love triangle between Jake, Marley and Ryder is far from over. I mean, some lovesick trio has to recreate Keira Knightly and Andrew Lincoln’s memorable scene in Love Actually during the Glee Christmas tribute episode, right?

Minutes before the New Directions take the stage, Blaine (Darren Criss) receives a call from Kurt, who’s willing to meet up with Blaine during Christmas break. They plan a date to go ice-skating and drink hot cocoa, and my heart could not have been happier looking at those tears well up in Blaine’s eyes when Kurt says he loves him. He’s so happy, guys! And his eyes sparkle!

But, I digress. The New Directions take the stage, and who else but Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) would be singing “Gangnam Style?” Sure, it’s slightly racist — but that’s what Glee is known for. But just when it looks like the glee club has this one in the bag, Marley faints.

OMG!: When Quinn, Santana, Puck, Mercedes, Mike and Finn were singing together in the auditorium, I was seriously verklempt. That might just go down as one of my favorite Glee musical moments… EVER.

Thank you, TV gods.: For giving me 5 minutes of bliss with the Dalton Academy Warblers. I don’t even like  ”Whistle” by Flo Rida, but when Nolan Gerard Funk sings it, I’m in. Note: I’m one of the handfull of people who watched Nickelodeon’s Spectacular when it aired.

Awk-ward: “Let’s Have a Kiki” might have sounded like a good idea in the writer’s room, but the execution was a little cringeworthy. Poor Sarah Jessica Parker. She looked — and sounded — completely out of her comfort zone. Carrie Bradshaw’s kiki days are long gone, so fire up the smoke machine, lock the doors, tight, and never sing that song again.

Hotness: I’m loving this bromance between Ryder and Jake. Of course, give it a few more episodes and I’m sure Marley will have already kissed Ryder behind Jake’s back. But as of now, these two BFFs are a-dor-able.

Fab-u-lous: Unique is back, honey, and she is FIERCE. Just when I’m about to throw my remote over this cuckoo bananes Marley storyline, Unique reminds me why I love Glee. She loves herself, and she’s not going to let any small town bigots bring her down. After all, you know what RuPaul says, “If you don’t love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?”

Can. Not. Wait.: To see how Marley recovers post-hunger games. And what about the New Directions? Will they have to forfeit? Also, this Ryder-Marley-Jake love triangle is making me feel all sorts of emotions. Not to mention, KLAINE will be reunited for Christmas! So, yeah, Christmas needs to come ASAP.

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 7.5 - A major step up from last week’s fluff, but all of the epic dance numbers in the world couldn’t let me forget about this mishandled Marley storyline.

The angel of death stopped by Briarcliff this week on FX’s American Horror Story: Asylum – and she claimed   more than one unfortunate soul.

With her six-foot wide jet black wings and alluring bright red lips, Francis Conroy made quite the entrance at Briarcliff, much to the disdain of her “fallen cousin” — the evil spirit inside Sister Mary Eunice (Lily Rabe).

Note: Spoilers if you haven’t watched Wednesday’s episode, “Dark Cousin.”

1. Grace is finally “free.”

The Dark Angel is summoned when Grace’s botched sterilization brings her to the brink of death. However, just before she can accept her kiss of death, she’s brought back to life by an extremely overzealous Sister.

Sister Mary Eunice stops by Dr. Arden’s (James Cromwell) office to taunt him about his terrible surgical work. “All of her girl parts have been scooped out,” she reminds him. But there’s one catch: Arden hasn’t performed Grace’s sterilization.

When Kit (Evan Peters) — who is facing the electric chair for Dr. Thredson’s (Zachary Quinto) dirty work — hears about Grace’s misfortune, he makes a run for it, knocking his defense lawyer out cold in the process. On the positive side, this could work in Kit’s favor. After all, he needs to prove to the judge he’s cray cray. But now that Kit’s a fugitive on the run, the police have been ordered to shoot on sight. Yikes.

But when Kit sneaks into Briarcliff to save Grace, flesh-eating Spivey (Mark Consuelos) follows him and ultimately wrecks havoc on his escape plan. Upon discovering Kit with Spivey’s blood on his hands, security guard Frank fires a fatal shot… but it’s Grace who takes the hit. Her last words? “I’m free.”

2. Sister Mary Eunice cries out for help.

Elsewhere in Briarcliff, another patient attempts a gory suicide by slitting his wrists on a deli slicer. Excuse me, but why is there a whirring deli slicer in an insane asylum? After calling upon death, she comes to his bedside and ushers him into the eternal darkness. But her work at Briarcliff isn’t done yet.

Sister Satan barges into the room, demanding the Dark Angel leave the asylum. However, Dark Angel tells her she was summoned by the Sister Mary Eunice’s innocent soul. For a second we see the real Mary Eunice come bawling out of her normally steely facade.

3. Pray for Lana.

Oh, Lana (Sarah Paulson). Poor, poor Lana. With her current status as Bloody Face’s sexual play thing, it’s now wonder Lana called upon Death.

The Dark Angel pays Lana a visit in Thredson’s basement, but before they seal the deadly deal, Bloody Face’s latest victim decides she is not yet ready to give up. Little did she know she’d be in for the fight of her life when Thredson decides that keeping her alive was a bad decision. But when he tries to kill her, Lana somehow manages to wrangle out of his grasp.

Despite her best efforts, Lana doesn’t succeed in killing Thredson, but she does knock him out for just enough time to escape the basement.

Unfortunately for Lana, she ends up in a car with a suicidal man who, seconds after the Angel of Death appears in the backseat, blows his own brains out. Poor Lana ends up right back in Briarcliff surely wishing she’d just chosen death when she had the chance.

With her brilliant performance this season, Paulson is giving Jessica Lange a serious run for her money come Emmy time.

4. Sister Jude faces her demons.

Considering that Sister Jude (Lange) has attempted suicide before, she’s well acquainted with the Angel of Death who arrives when the Sister envisions slitting her own wrists.

After a heart-to-heart with the Dark Angel, she decides she’s ready to pucker up for her last kiss, but first feels she needs to apologize to the family of the child she struck and killed a decade prior. However, upon visiting the family, Jude shockingly learns the child not only survived, but had gone on to become a nurse with a child of her own. Now if that doesn’t restore Jude’s faith in God, nothing will.

5. Arden knows there’s something about Sister Mary.

The Dark Angel isn’t the only person Sister Mary Eunice takes on this episode. “You touch me again, you will die,” she tells Dr. Arden after he slaps her across the face. When he tries to slap her again, Sister Satan hurls him right across the room.

Now call me crazy, but wouldn’t Arden wonder how little Sister Mary could toss him around like a rag doll? You’d think he would at least call his BFF Monsignor Howard (Joseph Fiennes) and tell him that one of the nuns has is running rampant? Or perhaps he’s too afraid to stand up to Sister Satan now that she knows about his Nazi past.

Dr. Arden may be too scared to dance with the Devil, but Sister Jude is ready to kick Sister Mary Eunice off her high horse.

Buzz Moments:

OMG!: The little girl in the blue coat is alive! Hail Mary, indeed Sister Jude. Now, what are we going to do about Sister Satan?

Awk-ward: Dr. Thredson is 50 Shades of Crazy. First, he calls Lana his mother, and then the next minute, he’s sexually assaulting her and trying to kill her. Why did he so suddenly change his mind on keeping her alive anyway?

Hotness: When Lana managed to escape Dr. Thredson’s maniacal grasp — and nearly choke him to death — I’ve never been so turned on by a fictional female TV character. You go girl.

Fab-u-lous: Francis Conroy’s performances as the Angel of Death was particularly striking. Up until this point, every death on Asylum appeared to be gruesome and excruciating, but Conroy brought a beauty to death we had yet to see. So is death the only escape from Briarcliff?

Can. Not. Wait.: To find out what happens to Kit! At this point, Lana is his only hope at redemption, but how can she help him when she can’t even help herself? Also, I really need to see Sister Jude b**** slap the hell out of Sister Mary Eunice.

American Horror Story: Asylum is off to a wickedly good start. Forget the aliens and bloody-faced serial killer, it’s all about Satan!

Ryan Murphy and Co. treated fans to an exorcism this week, but unfortunately for Sister Jude (Jessica Lange), things don’t go exactly as planned. There’s an evil spirit on the loose, people! Or is it…?

But the gruesome exorcism — think: Regan MacNeil 2.0 — is just one of five WTF moments that stood out above the rest in this week’s cray cray episode of American Horror Story: Asylum.

Note: Spoilers if you haven’t watched Wednesday’s episode, “Tricks and Treats.”

1. Bye bye, Wendy! Whoa. Karma is a b****. OK, so maybe that’s a bit harsh considering how Wendy (Clea Duvall) wanted to recant her consent to send Lana (Sarah Paulson) to Briarcliff. But, I can’t say that Wendy didn’t (partially) deserve her fate as Bloody Face’s latest victim. Sorry Wendy, but “I’m a school teacher” won’t help you get out of this one.

And we finally got to see Bloody Face in action, which means there’s no possible way Kit (Evan Peters) could be the infamous serial killer. Unless, of course, there’s more than one — but Ryan Murphy did say Kit was the “hero of the show” this season, so that seems doubtful.

As for Wendy, I don’t think this is the last we’ll see of Clea Duvall. She’ll probably pop up in one of Lana’s dream — or worse, one of her post-electric shock therapy hallucinations. Oh, and we’ll definitely see part of her face on Bloody Face’s mask. TMI?

2. Poor Adam Levine. Sorry Maroon 5 fans, but if you thought Levine would miraculously make it through the entire season, his interaction with Bloody Face says otherwise.

Unfortunately for Leo, his “horror freak” wife (Jenna Dewan -Tatum) not only got his arm sawed off, but she then lured the psycho killer back to him to finish the job. A couple of stabs to the chest and some internal bleeding later, and it looks like Leo is officially dunzo.

Although, once you die in Briarcliff, do you ever really leave the asylum? Or am I just being too optimistic for more #TeamAdam screen time?

3. Sister Jude has a dark past: She’s a murderer! I knew Sister Jude was hiding something, but I didn’t think the revelation would be this gruesome! Couldn’t she have been a sex addict like Monsignor Howard?

Thanks to the evil spirit’s sick mind games, Sister Jude’s past is revealed: She’s a former hooker — and singer! — who turned to religion after causing an accident that killed a little girl in a blue coat.

4. Wait, now we have to worry about Satan too. That exorcism was AWESOME. Well, maybe it’s more enjoyable if you’re a horror fan or an Exorcist enthusiast. Devon Graye does his best Regan MacNeil impression as a teenage boy who becomes possessed by Satan (Or is it just an evil spirit? Or perhaps, Ann Coulter? The jury is still out on that one).

However, the exorcism doesn’t quite go as planned. Monsignor Howard’s (Joseph Fiennes) handsome face can’t seem to exercise the devil — and neither can the fine presence of Zachary Quinto. When all else fails, they send in Sister Jude to seal the deal. Except, Satan has some not-so-nice things to say to Sister Jude.

Eventually, the poor Jed’s body gives out, and the evil spirit jumps out of him — and into Sister Mary Eunice (Lily Rabe)! Holy crap. I did not see that one coming! I cannot wait to see Sister Mary go from a lady of perpetual virginity to an unholy, foul-mouthed demon.

5. Lana’s betrayal. Lana knows a way out of Briarcliff thanks to Sister Mary’s naivety. After some girl talk in the hydrobath, she’s willing to share her intel with Grace (Lizzie Brocheré). However, there’s one catch: Lana refuses to let Kit come with them.

Even when faced with a golden opportunity to escape the asylum (well-timed, Satan-induced power outage!), Lana decides to turn Kit and Grace in rather than escape with them. Sadly, that means 40 lashes for Kit — and some serious b**** face from Grace.

Now, I’m willing to forgive Lana because one, she just underwent electro shock therapy after being accused of “knowing too much” and, two, she honestly believes Kit is Bloody Face! And we all know when the news says something is true — it must be true.

Buzz Moments:

OMG!: Did anyone see Wendy’s death coming on the second episode?! But when will Lana find out? Or more importantly, how?

Awk-ward: Dr. Arden (James Cromwell) finally got what he deserved when his call girl — who happened to be a total Sister Jude lookalike! — went rogue and bit him in the arm. Sorry Dr. Arden, but you’ll have to take your sick fantasies elsewhere.

Hotness: Finally! Zachary Quinto is back on my TV screen, and I could not be happier. Now, how long do you think it will take before Dr. Oliver gets his first sex scene?

Fab-u-lous: Jessica Lange’s portrayal of Sister Jude is one of the most dynamic performances of this TV season. Watching Sister Jude recall the moment she struck and killed an innocent girl sent shivers down my spine — she’s just so good. I would not be surprised if by this time next year, she has another Emmy to add to her collection. And Sister Jude, red is most certainly your color.

Can. Not. Wait.: To find out more about Bloody Face! We know it’s not Kit, so who could it be? And why is he still around in 2012 terrorizing Teresa and Leo?! On the other hand, now that Sister Mary Eunice is possessed by Satan, does that mean she’s going to get down and dirty with Dr. Arden? Gross.

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 9 — I’m completely hooked! Are you?

Now that was a premiere!

From the dark and twisty minds of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, comes American Horror Story: Asylum, the creative duo’s latest season of their FX anthology. And Asylum’s debut episode did not disappoint. In fact, it practically made me forget about Season 1′s horrifically epic Murder House (and Mrs. Coach!).

Whether you’re a fan of the horror genre, extraterrestrial sightings or just feel really nostalgic for your Catholic school days, Asylum’s debut episode had a little something for everyone. But there were five WTF moments that stood out above the rest as especially cray cray.

Note: Spoilers if you haven’t watched Wednesday’s premiere episode, “Welcome to Briarcliff.”

1. No, not Adam Levine!

While on their haunted honeymoon tour, modern-day couple, Leo (Levine) and Teresa (Jenna Dewan -Tatum), find themselves getting frisky in the now-abandoned Briarcliff asylum. Why, you ask? Because Teresa just so happens to be a “horror freak,” and Leo will pretty much do whatever she says as long as it means he gets some action. What happened to “Thou Shalt Not Have Sex on the Electro Shock Therapy Bed?”

That’s pretty much the basis of their relationship — and the reason why, within the first five minutes of the premiere, Adam Levine gets his arm hacked off and bleeds out on the asylum floor. Bloody Face is back, b******! And he’s coming for you next, Teresa. Too bad you can’t escape the asylum.

 2. Humans and UFOs are apparently not BFFs.

Asylum is full of crazy story lines, but by far, its most absurd (and that’s not a bad thing) is the fact that aliens exist, and they do not care about true love.

Kit’s (Evan Peters) life is turned upside down when he and his secret wife Alma are seemingly abducted by aliens. Kit gets probed and thrown back on Earth, while Alma goes M.I.A. Unfortunately for Kit, he’s branded as a notorious serial killer named Bloody Face by the media and sent to Briarcliff, where he will undergo a full psychological evaluation.

Now, Kit claims he’s innocent — it was the aliens! — while everyone else around him believes he’s the man responsible for skinning women alive, including his beloved Alma. Thankfully, Kit finds an ally in the enigmatic Grace (Lizzie Brocheré). Here’s hoping she’s not a total psycho. Although, in Briarcliff, everyone is straddling the line of sanity.

3. Dr. Arden is a monster.

Dr. Arden (James Cromwell) is no McDreamy. In fact, let’s just call him McCreepy. Not only does McCreepy torture, and subsequently kill, the patients of Briarcliff — in the name of science — but he also feeds their body parts to his hoard of flesh-eating monsters. Yikes!

The evil genius also goes head-to-head against Briarcliff’s stern Sister Jude (Jessica Lange) in an epic power struggle. Sister Jude’s methods may be tough, but if McCreepy ran the asylum, all of its patients would be nothing but lab rats. Not to mention, he’s a master at manipulation. Just ask poor Sister Eunice (Lily Rabe), who finds herself in the middle of the two bickering officials when she promises McCreepy she’ll feed the flesh-eating creatures in the middle of the night.

4. Sister Jude’s sexual fantasies.

It turns out Sister Jude has the hots for Monsignor Timothy Howard (Joseph Fiennes) — and she has the red, lacy négligée to prove it. Can you really blame her, though? He’s seriously good-looking. I, too, would fantasize about making out with him from across the table.

But does this mean Sister Jude is a cougar? Also, there has to be more to Sister Jude’s story… or do all nuns wear red nighties under their habits? If you went to Catholic school, or have any sort of insider info, please feel free to reply in the comments!

5. Wendy betrayed Lana! Seriously?!

Lana (Sarah Paulson) and Wendy (Clea Duvall) seemed like the perfect couple — until Wendy had Lana committed to Briarcliff.

When Lana, a food columnist who craves an investigative scoop, gets trapped inside Briafcliff (after getting knocked out by one of McCreepy’s creatures), Sister Jude decides to make the asylum Lana’s permanent home. That is, at least until she can “cure” Lana’s homosexuality.

But the only way to get Lana committed was to have Wendy, a “respected member of the community,” sign off on Lana’s papers. If she didn’t sign the document, Sister Jude would publicize Wendy and Lana’s “sinful” relationship. So in order to save her school teacher reputation, Wendy tearfully signs the document, leaving Lana’s fate (and sanity) in the hands of Sister Jude.

Wendy, I think you’re going to regret your decision. Karma is never fun.

Buzz Moments:

OMG!: Kit is Bloody Man?! He can’t be. I refuse to believe this. I think he was just a victim of “Wrong Place, Wrong Time” syndrome.

Awk-ward: Hooking up on the electro shock therapy chair — in an abandoned insane asylum, no less — is already slightly cringe-worthy (depending on your kink-level, I guess), but then when Adam Levine went through all of that hard work only to pull out so his wife could play ghost-chaser? Bummer.

Hotness: On the other had, a sex scene involving Adam Levine is still a TV win. Oh, and Evan Peters got shirtless and sexy too — before all of the weirdo alien stuff.

Fab-u-lous: Whether or not you agree with Sister Jude’s methods, you have to admit she’s pretty badass, especially when she stood up to mad scientist, Dr. Arden. She’s not a total b****, after all. She’s just misunderstood. Kind of like Kristen Stewart.

Can. Not. Wait.: To find out what that walking microchip device was. Does this mean the aliens weren’t a figment of Kit’s imagination? Do they actually exist? And who’s Bloody Face and why is he still alive in 2012? Oh, and can we please talk about the body part-eating creatures on Briarcliff’s estate? WTF!

Celebuzz Meter (1-10): 8 – “Welcome to Briarcliff” was a solid premiere episode, and I’m definitely hungry for more Horror, but I have to leave some room for it to get even more compelling.
