One major stop on their tour was at the sunny Extra stage, located at The Grove in Hollywood. Crystal Reed, Tyler Perry (the floppy-haired fella in the black shirt) and Tyler Hoechlin (the other Tyler with the tan jacket and million-dollar smile) hammed it up with fans, taking pictures and doling out handshakes aplenty.

All-around threat Tyler Perry, at No. 3, bested some of Hollywood’s most legendary (and profitable) filmmakers: Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer. He banked $125 million in 2010 thanks to his films Why I Did I Get Married Too? and For Colored Girls.

Beyonce Knowles was the only musician to crack the list’s top 10 by earning $87 million, but Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift all made the top 20 while at the same time shutting out some big name leading men, who often are the usual suspects for an end-year list like this.

Holding down the last spot is Judge Judy, whose monetary success is equal to Taylor’s at $45 million.

Few athletes can have as poor a year as Tiger Woods and still remain relevant, but he’s done that and more, raking in $105 million in 2010.

Well, technically yes, but she might have a pretty good reason to be quitting.

Mariah was recently cast in Tyler Perry‘s film adaptation of the 1975 play, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf, but she recently quit the project just before it started filming.

When asked why Mariah quit, her publicist simply stated that she is “not at the liberty to discuss her personal life at this time.”

Mariah and her husband Nick Cannon have been dodging pregnancy rumors since earlier this year when Mariah hinted that she might have something “very special on the way.” The diva has been spotted leaving a fertility clinic earlier this year.

Even though Mariah is a legendary diva, we don’t think she quit such a high-profile film right before it starts filming without a good reason, and pregnancy is a pretty good reason to have to quit a film.

So, is Mariah pregnant? We guess we will just have to wait and see.

Radar Online reports that, as of Monday, Janet is back on the Atlanta, Georgia, set of the sequel to Tyler Perry‘s 2007 comedy Why Did I Get Married? (Jackson is reprising her role as Patricia.)

According to Malik Yoba, who played Jackson’s love interest Gavin in the original and has also signed on for the sequel, Janet is holding up well, recent family tragedy notwithstanding.

“For those of you who are curious about the state of Ms. Jackson, all seems well,” Yoba posted on his audio blog. “She’s here at work and we’ve got a couple of serious scenes to shoot today.”

Well, they can’t be as serious as what Jackson has been dealing with in real life lately.

Yoba further notes that the cast will shoot for another week, before moving on to the Bahamas.

Parade Magazine just released their annual list of Celebrity Salaries, and the 40-year-old made a whopping $27 million in 2008, the same amount she made in 2007. The actress had a surprise hit this year with her film Marley and Me with Owen Wilson.

Other notable celebs on the list include:

Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes To Jail was still the #1 film over the weekend, forcing the boys into second place, despite the major amounts of publicity that went into promoting their 3D concert film.

Box office trackers estimated that the film would gross at least $30 million in its opening weekend. Unfortunately for the tween superstars, it fell far short of that.

The boys couldn’t have done anymore to sell their movie. They even showed up at theaters to watch it with fans.

In fact, movies in this genre (G-rated and family friendly) usually make more on Saturday than they do on Friday evening. Jonas Brothers didn’t. It made $4.8 million on Friday and less ($4.5 million) on Saturday. Not exactly “Burning Up.”

Jared Gray of Box Office Mojo says that there’s a couple of reasons why the JoBros’ flick might not be performing up to expectations.

“The Jonas Brothers don’t have a TV show,” he told E!. Unlike Miley Cyrus, whose 3D concert movie made $31.1 million in its opening weekend and was the basis for the brothers’ box office forecast.

It also might be a gender issue.

“Those tween girls are looking up to girls, not boys, for their source of inspiration,” Gray said.

Another reason for the boys’ runner-up status might be the country’s current economic recession.

Nevertheless, it couldn’t hurt next time if they contacted Tyler Perry and perhaps came out with Madea Meets The JoBros?

Dakota Fanning has confirmed that she is up for the part of Jane in the sequel to Twilight, New Moon. E! reports that Fanning has stated that “I really hope it works out. It would be so much fun. I think that the actors are amazing. It would be really cool to be a part of that. I’m a big fan.”

Producer/director/creator/comedian Tyler Perry has had a lien put on his home and business in Atlanta for non-payment. Perry is accused of not paying contractors who worked on his 30,000 sq. ft. Atlanta mansion. TMZ reports that Perry claims that the work was shoddy or undocumented.

CSI: NY actor Gerald McCullouch was involved in stopping a real-life crime. The actor, who trains as a boxer, stopped a man from stealing his laptop on an NYC train. People reports that after McCulloch hit the man, the assailant pulled out a kitchen knife and tried to stab him. McCulloch was uninjured, and the suspect was arrested by NYPD.

Species 2 actor Justin Lazard has donated $28,000 to a playground in Lakeport, CA for equipment. TMZ reports that it is the same playground that he was arrested in for publicly masturbating in 2006. Lazard is facing one count of annoying/molesting and one count indecent exposure, and could go to jail for a year. He will also have to register as a sex offender if found guilty. His trial begins in March.

Lovers of feel-good flicks should hope the scenes aren’t being filmed in order (productions rarely do). If these photos represent the conclusion of her multiple-personality drama, the outcome looks fairly depressing.

The Monster’s Ball Academy Award winner is wearing a ratty robe over a skimpy outfit, torn fishnets and bedroom slippers. And she’s in Vancouver; so temperatures are chilly.

The director/actor/writer/producer of Madea film-series fame became the first African-American to open his own major TV and film studio on Saturday night, People magazine reports.

The facility, located at the former Delta airlines headquarters in Atlanta, was launched with a gala event attended by Will Smith, Oprah Winfrey, Sidney Poitier, Cicely Tyson and baseball legend Hank Aaron, among many other luminaries.

The evening was marked by musical performances by Mary J. Blige, Patti Labelle and Gladys Knight as well.

In a testimonial to the Why Did I Get Married? actor/writer—who grew up amid troubled circumstances in New Orleans—Smith noted, “He is not letting anyone get in his way…Those are the wonderfully naïve, arrogant, humble, powerfully American concepts that make things powerful in this country. It’s big.”

Daniel Radcliffe recently confessed that he would love to play a drag queen in a future role.
