In honor of Memorial Day, Celebuzz is taking a look at how Hollywood has portrayed those who have served in uniform. (And while we’re at it, actors who well, just look good in army green).

In recent years, moviegoers have seen the likes of Matt Damon, Ryan Phillippe, Jeremy Renner and (in the romantic war drama category) Zac Efron portray marines, pilots and other uniformed characters from the two World Wars, the War in Afghanistan and in the case of Zero Dark Thirty, the operation leading to death of Osama bin Laden.

Let’s hear it for freedom.

After five films of street racing, sophisticated scheming and sidestepping the law, the Fast & Furious squad has surfaced as a formidable heist team.

Now the Fast & Furious squad in speeding into a new mission with the franchise’s sixth installment, hitting theaters stateside on Friday, which sees them face off against a villainous, tech-savvy former Special Ops soldier, Owen Shaw (Luke Evans).

But what if Fast‘s foe, for once, was not just a baddie, but instead another heist team from film history? Let’s imagine caper flicks could collide: What other big-screen crook crew would like Fast team like to challenge?

“The original Italian Job guys, with all the car stuff that they were doing,” Paul Walker told Celebuzz‘s Cory Lopez. “That makes sense. We’d roll ‘em up.”

But Evans threw it back to Quentin Tarantino’s breakout film: “It would be a bloodbath if it were Reservoir Dogs, wouldn’t it?” he reasoned. “I’d like to see that [but] that’s a tough call [of who would win.]”

“I would say Oceans Eleven, because for me, that’s sophistication versus street,” explained Michelle Rodriguez. “So it would be kind of cool to see the two even team up. That’d be kind of cool.”

Tyrese Gibson and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges agreed on Oceans, but for not quite the same reason.

“It’d be a great movie because they have each of someone who is similar to the characters in our movie,” Ludacris said. “They had the tech guy, they had multiethnic, they had somebody that was eating all the time.”

“I would go against Don Cheadle,” Tyrese chimed in. “Don Cheadle, who is the darkest of them all? Let’s do this. Come on, Cheadle. I’ve been tanning much longer than you black man. Let’s do this.”

“That’s definitely a challenge,” Ludacris added. “Let’s go.”

From rage-addled car crashes, to bullet-riddled showdowns, to a criminal bent on ruin, Fast & Furious 6 packs plenty of punch.

But it’s not without some much-needed comedic relief, thanks to Tyrese Gibson and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, who reprise their roles as Roman and Tej, respectively, in the sixth installment of the speed-addicted franchise.

“This is what we do on a daily basis, even off camera,” Ludacris explained to Celebuzz‘s Cory Lopez of his and Tyrese’s knack for humor. “We rag on each other, we joke all the time.”

“So it’s fun when we get to come to set and go off script and improv and, ya know, it ends up getting in the movie,” he continued. “It’s a balance.”

While fans come out to theater’s for Fast‘s suspenseful high-flying cars stunts and fistfights, Tyrese thinks the film is not complete without some wisecracking.

“There’s so much action, and people are so serious in this movie. There’s a lot of baby oil flying around,” Tyrese said, referring (randomly) to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s ever-so shiny muscles. “So we like to come in and just make sure that people are actually enjoying themselves when they come out and spend their hard-earned bucks on a movie of this caliber.”

“If you’re not laughing, feeling emotional, and on the edge of your seat in one movie,” he continued, “then we’ve missed the mark.”

Secret deodorant’s original slogan touted: “Strong Enough for a Man, Made for a Woman.” Turns out, some men took that to heart.

“I’ll admit myself because people have been getting on me about this. I didn’t realize men could not use Secret deodorant,” Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges tells host Jeremy Parsons in a recent sitdown. “I’ve been using Secret deordorant for pretty much half my life.”

Surprisingly, his Fast & Furious 6 costar, multihyphenate model-singer-actor Tyrese Gibson, does the same. But he takes his Secret use one step further — to the south.

“This is too much information, but I’ve been using deodorant — Secret — in both locations for about seven years,” he admits, pointing to his pits and, well, you know where. “You know cause your legs are just in constant rotation like your arms. I’m serious man. This is the truth.

“Ah, come on,” Ludacris says. “We don’t need to know all that man. Ah! Tyrese Gibson uses Secret on his balls! Who does that?!”

The interview then spirals into every pun that comes to mind — such as, Ludacris labeling his pal “the Secret baller!” — as the men fall into fits of laughter. Even when Parson tries to bring talk back to Fast & Furious 6, Tyrese’s one-track mind brings it back to that b-word.

“How does this [movie] go to the next level?” Parsons asks. Tyrese exclaims, “Because it’s ballsy!”

Touché, Tyrese, touché.

Fast & Furious 6 makes a strong argument for more movies featuring cars that explode out the front of planes.

It’s all-out “vehicular warfare” in the new trailer for the next installment in the Universal Pictures franchise. Fast Five stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson return to Car-Fu the hell out of every moving vehicle imaginable. Including a tank.

The sixth Fast & Furious movie finds master car thief Dom (Diesel) and his crew living on the run from the authorities – desperate to get back to the States. In order to return home, they must team up with lawman Hobbs (Johnson) to take down a murderous band of criminals.

Director Justin Lin returns to helm his fourth Fast & Furious film, which crashes into theaters Memorial Day weekend.

It was a starry night in New York City Tuesday for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon premiere. Rosie Huntington Whiteley held it down in a strapless red dress, but the guys looked just as dapper as they walked the red carpet.

Shia LaBeouf- who made headlines today for revealing he did hook up with Megan Fox while filming- looked smoldering in a gray suit. And it looks like the guys color coordinated!

Josh Duhamel and Tyrese also rocked a a similar look wearing gray with a white shirt underneath.

Patrick Dempsey opted a black suit with nude dress shirt.

Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen comes out in less than 24 hours, and last night celebrities flocked to the Los Angeles premiere of the robot film!

Held at the Mann Village Theatre in sunny Westwood, California, the red carpet was filled with beautiful people, including the film’s smoking-hot couple Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. 

Let’s not forget the other hotties in the film, Tyrese, Isabel Lucas and Josh Duhamel!

Other stars who came out to see the highly-anticipated action flick included Kim Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson, Kristin Cavallari, Shawn Johnson and Travis Barker.
