What does All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter have in common with Joe Jonas, John Mayer, and Harry Styles?

You guessed it: he was one of many men who succumbed to Taylor Swift’s country charm, an insider tells Celebuzz exclusively. And just like all the others — trust us, there are many — he too had a short shelf-life…by choice.

“He wasn’t into her world and hurt her,” a source close to 28-year-old Ritter said. “He just stopped calling. He kept it very quiet because he isn’t a very public kind of guy. He’s so private, and he wasn’t into the glitz and glamour and attention-seeking like Taylor was. He’s more laid back and chill.”

And since Swift is famously known for writing about her heartbreak — over and over and over again — does that mean Ritter went on to inspire one of her breakup ballads?

Could be.

Some think Swift’s latest single, “I Knew You Were Trouble,” may be a thinly veiled ode to Ritter — especially given the tatted-up dude who plays her dangerous love interest in the music video.

“Everyone is talking about who the song is about. Tyson’s friends even think the song is about him,” said the source.

According to our insider, the twosome met in Dec. 2011 — aka Swift’s dating downtime after she broke up with Jake Gyllenhaal in late 2011 and before her PDA-packed summer of 2012 with Conor Kennedy. Ritter bumped into the 23-year-old at the CMT Artists of the Year Awards, where the All-American Rejects paid homage to her by putting their own spin on her hit “Mean.”

“They met backstage and Tyson started talking to her, and it just happened,” said the source. “They both got along great right away. They hung out a few times, went on a few dates and texted a lot.

“Tyson and Taylor saw each other over a few months. It was super-casual. They hung out at each other’s places in L.A.”

But now, with Swift in the past, Ritter is moving on: In fact, our insider says he’s dating Magic City actress Elena Satine.

“He Tweeted her to get her attention, and they’ve been dating since July,” said the source.

Swift, meanwhile, is on the prowl since splitting from Styles earlier this month. Gentlemen, beware.

Who says that music videos have to be business as usual?

During a break from their world tour, The All-American Rejects created a personal clip for the song “Fast and Slow,” from their album Kids in the Street. And guess who they shared it with?

Lead singer Tyson Ritter said, “‘Fast and Slow’ is one of my favorite tracks off the record, so we just decided to do a fun video.  Just fun for fun’s sake.”

What else did Ritter have to say?

“I love making music — it’s my passion anytime I can be creative I do it!”

And that’s definitely apparent in the video, as the alternative band — which also includes Chris Gaylor, Mike Kennerty and Nick Wheeler — truly seem to be having a blast, smiling and getting into the groove of the music as they showcase their skills along the oceanfront. The clip was filmed at Ritter’s beach house St. Petersburg, Florida.
