“She’s excited,” one insider said. “She’s happy and just a few months along right now. She’s due in late, late summer.”

Whether its a boy or a girl, they’ll have two older siblings vying to babysit! Uma’s daughter Maya and son Levon with ex-husband Ethan Hawke are 13 and 10.

Wearing a white Versace strapless gown, she showed off her slinky silhouette and flashed her sexy legs with the outfit’s daring thigh-high slit. Topping off her look, the hem of the dress was decorated with fine white feathers. Gorgeous!

Uma gushed about her look to reporters, telling UK’s Daily Mail:

“I feel so good wearing the dress… It’s a dress that moves well when you dance. I was doing a quiet little dance all by myself on the carpet just now,” she said.

Uma is in Cannes as a member of the festival’s main jury.

The group was out in full force at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday morning as a show of solidarity, as they are part of De Niro’s 9-member jury who will be laying down the verdict on the winners from this year’s film festival.
Thurman looked gorgeous and glamorous in a white sleeved dress, while Law kept his chic reputation intact thanks to a suit. De Niro went casual — untucked shirt, jeans — but hey, he’s Robert freaking De Niro. He can wear whatever he pleases.

The Cannes Film Festival is kicking off this week and will be underway for the next few weeks in southern France. Behold, a new still from the upcoming period drama Bel Ami, featuring co-stars Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman enjoying an intimate moment.

The movie, based on the Guy de Maussapant story, stars R-Pattz as overly ambitious writer Georges Duroy, who rises from poverty to the highest strata of Parisian society by bedding a succession of influential women.From all reports, it’s going to be quite the streamy cinematic affair indeed, and we can’t say that this still does much to dispel that notion.

Rumor has it that Lindsay made a good impression on the set of Machete her newest film with Robert Rodriguez that Tarantino is eyeing her for a role that will make her rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that are her career.

Tarantino has a good reputation for giving stars with uninspiring careers a good bump: he made John Travolta a star again in Pulp Fiction and rescued Uma Thurman from a dead-end film career when he cast her in Kill Bill (granted, she may have gone back on that dead-end path, but that wasn’t Tarantino’s doing).

God knows that Lindsay’s career has gone from bad to worse. She hasn’t starred in a film that reached the theaters since 2007 and she has become somewhat infamous for being unemployable. Not only that but her disastrous private life hasn’t helped her career one bit. Lohan is living proof the the old adage “any publicity is good publicity” is simply not true.

The New York Post reports that Uma Thurman, who’s scheduled to share the screen with Pattinson in the upcoming romance flick Bel Ami, has split up with her fiancé, hedge fund manager Arki Busson, making Busson the latest in a long line of victims of what many (okay, so far, “we”) are calling The R-Pattz Co-Star Curse.

The earliest recorded instance of The R-Pattz Co-Star Curse (copyright pending) occurred early this year, when Gentlemen Broncos actor Michael Angarano, who had been dating Pattinson’s Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, suddenly disappeared from Stewart’s life with the swiftness and completeness of a Soviet dissident.

But this was just the beginning of R-Pattz’s relationship-wrecking streak. Back in June, as she prepared to film the romantic comedy Remember Me with Pattinson, Lost star Emilie de Ravin announced that she was parting ways with her husband of three years, December Ends thesp Josh Janowicz. And thus, a pattern emerged.

And now, with Uma Thurman’s breakup, The R-Pattz Co-Star Curse has reached out to crush yet another formerly happy relationship.

If we were The Wrestler director Darren Aranofsky—who’s engaged (for now anyway) to Rachel Weisz, who’ll be co-starring with Pattinson in the upcoming historical drama Unbound Captives—we’d be pretty worried right now.

Then again, given that Aranofsky is currently preparing to film an angry, aggressive sex scene between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, he might have already mentally checked out of that relationship.

On the big screen, at least.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Kill Bill actress Uma Thurman has signed on to co-star with R-Pattz in the upcoming flick Bel Ami, about a young Parisian journalist named George Duroy (Pattinson), who rises to fame and fortune via a number of bedroom conquests involving influential women.

In the movie—an adaptation of the Guy de Maupassant short story of the same name—Thurman will play the wife of Duroy’s friend. Thurman’s character, a Parisian socialite, aids Duroy in his climb to the top and eventually marries him.

The film is due to begin filming in Paris next year.

At St. Peter’s Church, Richardson’s husband Liam Neeson and seven other men carried the actress to her final resting place.

Richardson’s mother Vanessa Redgrave, dressed all in white, was joined by Natasha’s sister Joley Richardson. Other celebs that journeyed nearly two hours outside of Manhattan were Meryl Streep and sculptor husband Don Gummer, Uma Thurman and boyfriend Arpad Busson as well as Ralph Fiennes.

Saving Grace star Holly Hunter couldn’t fight back tears, nor could Neeson himself, spotted tearing up while walking with Redgrave.

In addition to Neeson, 45-year-old Richardson is survived by two sons.

Led by husband Liam Neeson, mourners included Richardson’s thespian family Vanessa Redgrave and Joley Richardson.

Actress Uma Thurman attended with fiance Arpad Busson, while her former husband Ethan Hawke showed solo. Fellow Redgrave icon Lauren Bacall arrived with family, alongside shock-jock Howard Stern and wife Beth Ostrosky.

A somber Diane Sawyer turned up for the ceremony, as well as actor Matthew Modine, after which Neeson walked arm-in-arm with an unidentified woman in Central Park.

Richardson was pronounced dead on Wednesday evening, of blunt trauma to the head, stemming from a skiing accident Monday evening at a Canadian resort.

A Celebuzz source saw Thurman, 38, step off a JetBlue flight from JFK International and bolt outside to light up and meet her hired car. When it was nowhere to be found, the blonde charged back in for answers.

“She was really stressed, yelling at her airport escort, demanding to know where the car was,” the spy says.

Thurman showed in travel chic: a long gray cashmere sweater, riding boots and skinny jeans with a brown crocodile Birkin bag.

“She and her kids looked so tired, you could tell she wanted to get them settled but she caused a scene in the middle of the bag claim,” said the source.

Thurman’s (and Ethan Hawke‘s) daughter Maya Ray, 10, stood with a nanny, while son Levon Roan sat on a luggage cart.

The eight-year-old celebrated his birthday yesterday, headed to festival weekend.

Hopefully spirits will lift for the family, who will attend a special concert performance by Driver in celebration of the movie this Wednesday.
