‘Spring Breakers’ Cast Confessions! Selena Gomez & Costars Open Up & Strip Down for Interview (PHOTOS)

They’re being hailed as “Girls Gone Wild” by Interview magazine and from the looks of these bikini-clad starlets, they’re living up to the title.

Posing as their Spring Breakers characters, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine were happy to slip into their neon bikinis for their shoot with the magazine. James Franco even threw on his Kevin Federline-esque costume to pose with the ladies.

The film is about a group of gorgeous gal pals who hit Florida to party over Spring Break, but get in a little bit of trouble after they run out of money and decide to rob a restaurant.

Selena, 19, was excited to play an edgier role, and even confessed that she has not yet been exposed to this bad girl lifestyle that she portrays in the film.

“I mean, I’d never smoked a cigarette before in my entire life. It was really funny—they had to show me how to do it,” Selena, Justin Bieber‘s girlfriend, admitted.

She added of taking on the role, “It was a mark thing for me—like, ‘This is what I want to be doing.’ I want to be taking myself seriously as an actress, and this was definitely a stretch.”

Ashley, who’s known for her role in Pretty Little Liars, isn’t encouraging her ABC Family fans to frequent this movie. “For Selena, Vanessa, and me, our audience is all in their teens or younger, so they’re not even going to be able to see this when it comes out—it’s not appropriate.”

Siggy Flicker, matchmaker and star of VH1′s Why Am I Still Single?, told Celebuzz exclusively that she fully supports Chord, 21, and 23-year-old Emma’s romance. “They are going to have fun and enjoy each other and that is what ‘s important and if they last then it was meant to be and if they don’t they will move on and that is what is wonderful about being young and in your ’20s,” she said of the couple.

Meanwhile, relationship expert Rachel A. Sussman, the author of The Breakup Bible, believes Kim and Kanye make a great pair as well. “They both seem fun loving, creative, full of spirit and life. Doesn’t hurt that they’re both very attractive too.”

However, Dr. Michelle Golland was not so supportive of Kimye, telling Celebuzz, “In looking at Kanye’s dating history, it seems he is looking for a woman who is willing to go along on a pretty wild ride. … Kanye seems to be looking for distractions in his love life.”

Although they were among friends, including Desperate Housewives actor Shawn Pyfrom, Vanessa, 23, and Austin, 20, couldn’t keep their hands off each other. One Celebuzz insider told us that the lovebirds packed on major PDA before making their way to the Sahara tent to get a good view of Madeon.

Short-shorts and belly-baring bikini and crop tops are all the rage with young girls on set this spring.

While Selena Gomez, 19, and Vanessa Hudgens, 23, have hung up their bikinis and cutoffs after wrapping up shooting in Florida for Spring Breakers, Emma Watson, who will be 22 on Sunday, has now slipped on some denim shorts (revealing a fake back tattoo) and white bra for her role in The Bling Ring.

The wardrobes aren’t the only thing these films have in common.

Both movies have leading ladies playing robbers. The Bling Ring, also rumored to be starring Kirsten Dunst, has the Harry Potter star playing Lucy, and is based on actual events surrounding a group of fame-obsessed teenagers who use the Internet to track celebrities’ whereabouts in order to rob their homes.

Meanwhile, Selena and Vanessa star alongside James Franco and Ashley Benson in Spring Breakers, which centers around four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation.

The films aren’t set to hit theaters until some time next year.

Its a wrap! Selena Gomez said bye-bye to her bikini (no, not in that way) as she recently finished shooting Spring Breakers. The movie, which follows a group of girls who turn to crime in order to fund their vacation, wrapped up Selena’s scenes in Florida over the weekend.

Although the film won’t be in theaters until 2013, Selena, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson have already given fans glimpses into their very bikini-filled flick. Check out the casts’ sexiest swimsuit moments — both on and off set — in the gallery above!

When news first broke that Oscar-nominated actor James Franco was joining the cast of the Selena Gomez-Vanessa Hudgens bikini-comedy Spring Breakers, many people wondered: Who in the heck is he going to play?

Well, based on this new photo, it looks like we now have a better idea of what to expect. Maybe.

In the photo, posted Tuesday on Selena’s Instagram, a bikini-clad Selena and Vanessa are seen in a car with a dreadlock-sporting man who looks a lot like, well, Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline.

But if you look close enough, the kooky-looking man also bares a striking resemblance to Franco himself. Which would make a whole lot of sense, considering Franco is still listed on the movie’s IMDb page.
