Before hopping on a flight back to Los Angeles, mom-to-be Vanessa Lachey was seen indulging in an ice-cream cone before heading to the airport with her (equally sweet) hubby Nick. 

However, a baby may not be the only thing on Nick’s mind these days!

According to Rumor Fix  Nick and his fellow 98 Degreees band members, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre, are preparing for a reunion tour which will take place in 15 cities between July and August of this year.

Celebuzz even spoke with Backstreet Boy member Howie D, who says he’s thrilled about the “I Do (Cherish You)” boy band hitting the road again. He told us exclusively:

“I think it’s really cool that 98 degrees is getting back together. We had such a successful NKOTBSB tour this past summer, and I hope the same for them. I’ll definitely be there.”

The mom-to-be showed off her growing baby bump in a long grey maxi dress and denim jacket during an errands run this Thursday. The brunette beauty was in good spirits as she browsed the local Best Buy for electronic goodies. Maybe Vanessa was looking for something for her soon-to-be bundle of joy?

The 31-year-old TV host and hubby Nick Lachey announced they were expecting their first child earlier this month when Nick was co-hosting Live! With Kelly. The former 98 Degrees member gushed:

“So she went to the store, got a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!”

The expectant dad added, “I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming.”

Although Nick have yet to find out the sex of the baby, the 38-year-old singer admitted that he can’t wait for the moment he gets to know if the couple will be having a boy or a girl.

“We definitely want to know. I can’t take the knowledge that someone out there knows, but I don’t know. It’s like watching a sports game on TiVo.”

Nick and Vanessa wed this past year after 5 years of dating. They are said to welcome their first child end of summer or early fall.

The 31-year-old TV host was seen hitting up a salon in Studio City on Thursday, and looked adorable in a striped, long sleeved maxi dress. After freshening up her ‘do, she did a bit of shopping.

Between her growing baby bump and her soon-to-be bundle of joy, we have a feeling there will be lots of shopping trips in her future!

Vanessa and hubby Nick Lachey (who married last summer after dating for 5 years) announced they were expecting their first child earlier this week, as Nick, 38, was co-hosting Live! With Kelly.

While there’s nothing cooking in the oven, so to speak, Nick says the day might not be too far off.

“I’m doing everything I can,” he told E!’s Marc Malkin. “Trust me, it would make me happy. Family is very important. It’s very important to us. I’m sure that will be around the corner.”

The Sing Off host added that the married life is treating them well, saying, ”It’s great. Obviously we’re still in the honeymoon period. Not much changed, which, for me, is a good thing. We’ve been together five years. We were very comfortable in our relationship before the marriage.”

The two married on July 15 and honeymooned in St. Barts.

After five years of dating, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo finally tied the knot. The couple wed on July 15 in an ultra private ceremony. Since the two have gained supporters from their previous television shows, they know their fan base is too large to ignore sharing such a special moment in their lives!

The newlyweds teamed up with TLC to allow fans a front row seat at their wedding ceremony. “Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding” will air Saturday, July 30 from 9-11pm on TLC. The special will capture the excitement and anticipation as the lovebirds plan their ceremony with their family and friends.  

In this exclusive television event, viewers are invited along to the actual wedding to help celebrate as the couple becomes husband and wife. Check out the sneak-peek to get a glimpse of the couple discussing their wedding vows and plans for their honeymoon. Ohh la la!! 

Vanessa was dressed in a gray tank top and a flowing maxi skirt, while Nick had on a pair of khaki shorts, a V-neck shirt and baseball cap. The newlyweds walked through LAX hand in hand while Nick talked on his phone. 

On July 15, Vanessa and Nick wed in a super secret tropical island ceremony, People reported. The two flew guests to the location without telling them where they were going, Vanessa told the mag.

While it may have been a surprise to the 35 friends and family members in attendance, fans of the couple are getting advance notice so they can join the festivities in the comfort of their own living room. If you didn’t make the guest list, don’t worry, you can still be a part of their special day! The ceremony will aired on the TLC special called Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding on July 30.

Her party began at Las Vegas hot spot LAVO where she had dinner and then danced the night away. As the night went on, the bride-to-be, wearing a sash and crown, headed to the DJ booth and announced to the crowd, “I’m about to get married. I’m about to get a ball and chain, but not yet and tonight’s my bachelorette party!”

Minnillo and Lachey, the former husband of actress/singer Jessica Simpson, began dating in 2006 and announced their engagement back in November.

Last week, Nick’s brother Drew Lachey dished about the upcoming bachelor party telling Celebuzz:

“It won’t be over-the-top, but Nick is nervous about what we have in store… We are a little bit older and wiser now, so I don’t think Nick feels any need to do a crazy bachelor party again. As long as we get our core group of guys together and have fun, that’s all he wants.”

And of course, Vanessa has the family’s seal of approval. “[Nick & Vanessa] make each other very happy, and that’s all anybody could ever hope for. As his brother, I’m glad he’s finally with someone who makes him happy — and Vanessa truly does,” Drew added.

“It won’t be over-the-top, but Nick is nervous about what we have in store,” Drew coyly told Celebuzz at the Pampers “First Father’s Day Cook-Out” held at Stage 37 in New York City.

And as for the baby talk, Drew has no doubt that Nick and Vanessa will start a family.

“He spoils my kids and sees them every chance he gets. He is Isabella’s god father and is a great uncle,” Drew gushed. “I have no doubt that Nick will make a great dad one day.”

UsMagazine.com is reporting first reported that 30-year-old songbird Simpson is indeed engaged according to their sources. Minutes later, Simpson’s rep confirmed the news to In Touch, stating that Jessica and Eric “are thrilled” about it.

Us reported that Jessica also “flashed a sizable ring on her left hand during an appearance at Dillard’s at Oak Park Mall in Kansas City.”

It was just last week that news broke of the engagement between Lachey and Minnillo, who have been dating since 2007. Lachey and Simpson ended their marriage in 2005 after three years and one reality show.

Simpson and Johnson have been dating for about five months, beginning their relationship over the summer. In August, Simpson made somewhat of an official announcement of their couple-dom by posting a cute kissing photo on Twitter.

“I couldn’t be more happy for Nick. Our relationship was over a really long time ago so it would be nice if everybody could move on with us and just celebrate the love between him and Vanessa,” Jess said on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Thursday. “I wish them nothing but the best.”

Fans of Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica will recall the couple’s fairytale 2002 wedding and subsequent 2005 divorce. Even as Nick connected with Vanessa and Jessica dated famous dudes like John Mayer and Tony Romo, the tabloids persisted with reports that Jessica and Nick weren’t over each other.

Jessica denied all that to Seacrest, saying: “I am extremely extremely happy for him.”

“I don’t know where all those rumors came from. My mom actually called me and told me that everybody was saying I was saddened,” Jessica said. “I was just in complete shock.”

Jessica is so over Nick, she’s even spending the holidays with new beau Eric Johnson, telling Seacrest that Johnson’s “family be with us on the float at the Macy’s Day parade.”
