William Levy captured hearts with his sexy shirtless smooth moves on Dancing with the Stars.

Now as casting buzz ramps up for the big-screen adaptation of steamy bestseller 50 Shades of Grey, fans are calling for the Cuban-born actor-model to star as the sex-crazed Christian Grey.

Would Levy be up for the challenge?

“If the opportunity comes for me to play this role, it would be amazing,” lover-boy Levy told Celebuzz in an exclusive video interview.

“It’s a great book…[and] every day I hear about it. I see the fans saying it all over.I would play it. I would love to do it. We’ve just got to see.”

And People en Espanol‘s 2011 sexiest man of the year has even skimmed the sexy pages of the chart-topping erotic trilogy, which gave him a whole new perspective on the novel’s die-hard fans.

“Girls would come up to me and say, ‘You should play this! You should play this!” Levy said. “When I started reading it, I started looking at these girls in a different way, let me tell you. I was like, you want me to play this role? Oh man! Now I know how you are.”

For now, Levy is slated to star in Tyler Perry‘s new movie, set to begin filming in September. “I feel very honored to be part of it and have one of the lead roles next to him,” Levy gushed.

But he couldn’t dish any juicy details about the upcoming flick. “It’s a romantic comedy,” Levy said. “I wish I could tell you more about the story more but I cannot.”

In the meantime, Levy is making the rounds as the face of Pepsi NEXT’s new campaign.

“I [am] a big fan of this drink,” Levy, who starred alongside Jennifer Lopez in her “I’m Into You” music video, said. “It feels good to part of…Pepsi NEXT. I think I can do something good for it.”

The brand’s new flavors, Paradise Mango and Cherry Vanilla — which have 60% less sugar than Pepsi-Cola — are “very good and still have the original taste of cola,” he boasted.

But they’re limited time only. “It’s only available for the summer, so you have to hurry and go get it!” Levy said. “You gotta taste it.”

If there’s one thing William Levy loves more than his new Dancing With the Stars gig, it’s his son (and watching America’s pastime!)

Before the Cuban hunk injured his right ankle during rehearsals on Sunday, the 31-year-old DWTS frontrunner took his 6-year-old son Christopher to check out Viva Los Dodgers. The two got up on stage to support the baseball team, then watched a bit of the game in the dugout.

While Levy will mostly be known for showcasing his sexy moves on the ABC reality show, baseball is a big passion of his.

He even received a partial baseball scholarship when he was younger! We can’t find anything about this guy that we don’t like!

And it looks like his DWTS injury is pretty serious. He tweeted:

Step aside Mike “The Situation” Sorrentio! There’s a new six-pack (more like 12-pack) on the Dancing with the Stars ballroom floor, and everyone is taking notice, including People magazine. 

The Latin model/actor William Levy made the cover of this week’s issue and though he does don a shirt, his pecks and abs are in full view. “I have never heard it that loud in there,” William’s DWTS pro partner Cheryl Burke gushed. ”He’s like a rock star!”

People called his cover: “From Dirt Poor to Sexy Star,” of which Will, 31, said of his newfound fame: 

“To come to this country and receive this kind of love from people you don’t even know, it’s amazing.” 

This week, The View co-host Sherri Shepherd gave an emotional fair well to the show, but William is still in the running for the coveted mirror ball trophy. Though it wasn’t his strongest week with the jive (he scored a cumalative 22), he was still safe. Check out his performance below:

Who are you rooting for on DWTS?

William Levy already has a perfect body. Now, it appears he has perfect moves, as well.

The hunky Latino model wowed the judges with his salsa on Monday night’s episode of Dancing With the Stars  – so much so, he earned a perfect 10 from judge Bruno Tonioli.

Of course, William wasn’t the only star to get rave reviews last night. Opera singer Katherine Jenkins continued her surprise domination of season 14 with an emotional waltz that earned her not one, but two, 10s. Take that, William!

Last night’s theme revolved around each contestant’s most memorable year. Katherine opted for 1996, the year she learned her father had lung cancer, while William went with 1995, the year he arrived to the U.S. from Cuba.

The candid shots of the Telenovela actor — who also costarred in Jennifer Lopez‘s “I’m Into You” video – were snapped as the sexy Latin star was getting ready for a photo shoot. He was stripped down for makeup  and body tan when he playfully grabbed a straw hat and covered his bathing suit area.

His girlfriend at the time, Elizabeth Gutierrez, was actually on set and made sure he didn’t expose himself in the shots.
