Something tells us we’re going to enjoy Zac Efron’s upcoming comedy, Townies.

The High School Musical hottie was spotted on set yesterday, leaving little to the imagination in tight grey sweatpants havin’ a little fun playing with his balls. Well, giant rubber workout balls, that is. We’re not exactly sure what is going on in these pics, but we are enjoying the view.

Zac “the Mac” Efron (go with it) already made it clear that his hot bod will be featured in the Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne comedy. Efron will be portraying a frat boy in the film and from the looks of it, Greek life suits him.

Zac Efron let it all hang out on the set of Townies yesterday afternoon. By that, we mean his abs.

The film is currently shooting in Los Angeles, and co-stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne, among a host of other famous faces.

There’s also a plot in there somewhere. But, yeah. Zac Efron has abs.

Love is in spring air — or, at least, on set.

And it has stars are puckering up on camera from Los Angeles, Calif., to Brooklyn, N.Y.. Certifiable Hollywood hunk Zac Efron made a lucky lady out of his costar, actress Halston Sage, as they filmed The Townies, in which he stars as a fraternity boy whose antics affect a local family.

In the scene for the upcoming comedy, Efron, 25, is seen getting into the college party spirit at a Civil War-themed soiree. Donning an army-like jacket and wielding a faux (we hope) sword, the former High School Musical star gives a speak to his fellow school-aged revelers before pulling in Sage for a lusty lip-lock.

And over on the opposite coast, Lena Dunham was getting back into her fictional Brooklynite character Hannah while shooting the upcoming third season for her HBO hit series Girls.

After the season two finale saw Hannah reunite with bitter ex-beau Adam (Adam Driver), it seems to the two are still in each other’s arms. While shooting a scene in Brooklyn, N.Y., Dunham, 26, and Driver, 29, share a tender smooch on the streets of Greenpoint after he gifts her a necklace for her birthday.

Not a whole lot is known about Zac Efron’s latest project, Townies. But judging from Wednesday’s set photos — does it really matter?

Efron’s bulging biceps were put on display thanks to a tight fraternity shirt as he was spotted taking a break at the crafts and services area of the Los Angeles set.

According to IMDB, the comedy tells the story of a frat boy whose behavior affects a neighbor’s family life. Townies’ star-studded cast includes Seth Rogen, Dave Franco, Rose Byrne, Jake Johnson and Superbad’s Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

Efron, 25, can currently be seen in the new drama At Any Price, opposite Dennis Quaid and Heather Graham. The film opened in theaters on Wednesday.

Zac Efron ruled the red carpet on Friday as he celebrated his latest film in New York City.

The 25-year-old actor was on hand for the premiere of At Any Price at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. Efron, who chose a dark grey suit for the event, was joined by his co-stars Dennis Quaid, Heather Graham and Maika Monroe.

The drama, directed by Ramin Bahrani, tells the story of an Iowa seed farmer (Quaid) who tries to convince his son (Efron) to take over the family business. But the son has his eyes set on other things: race cars, girls, Nascar.

And yes, that’s really Efron driving on the big screen.

“I was completely new to it . . . they just put me in a car and said, ‘Go!’ At one point, I got up to 140 miles per hour. It was a rush!” he recently told Parade.

At Any Price opens nationwide Apr. 26.

From baby bumps to red carpet affairs, Hollywood has been buzzing with plenty of celebrity sightings in the last 24 hours.

On the west coast, Halle Berry covered up her growing baby bump with a giant coat as she caught a flight out of Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday. The 46-year-old Oscar winner is expecting her second child — her first with fiancé Olivier Martinez.

Elsewhere, Kim Kardashian dressed up her baby bump in a stylish navy lace top and matching blazer in Beverly Hills. The reality TV star was all smiles as she enjoyed the sunny afternoon with friends.

Jessica Simpson, who is expecting her second child with fiancé Eric Johnson, was also spotted out in West Hollywood, where she indulged in some retail therapy at Fred Segal.

Over in the Big Apple, Zac Efron showed off his fit figure in a form fitting dress shirt and jeans as he made his way to Good Morning America. Efron is currently in town to promote his next film At Any Price, set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Another year, another movie awards show.  The golden (popcorn) statues have all been passed out, America now knows about Tom Hiddleston, and Zac Efron never took off shirt once.  Not once.

Worst: Rebel Wilson‘s Double Nip-Slip. I really wish that didn’t happen.  Rebel, you’re my girl and I laughed quite loudly during your scenes in Pitch Perfect, but some things are better left never, ever seeing the light of day.

Best: Taylor Lautner‘s Shirtless Acceptance Speech. Young Taylor took to the stage wearing the most obvious of fat suits (come on MTV.  You’re at Sony Studios.  There wasn’t anything better lying around?).  Despite that, Lautner was a great sport, pulling all sorts of fat-kid candy out of his pockets in search of his acceptance speech.  Once he found it, he waxed on about being 21 and how those calories can catch up with you.

Worst: Seth Rogan and Danny McBride Go Pantless. Ugh, gross.  I did not need to see this skit, which made Rebel’s DNS look like a flash of cleavage.  What is it with you guys and “down there?”  Their one saving grace would have been shirtless Zac Efron, which didn’t happen.  Boo, you whores.

Best: Selena Gomez Performs “Come And Get It.” Gomez has firmly established herself as queen of MTV’s current generation, just like Britney Spears did before her.  She walked the red carpet looking like a million bucks, then promptly killed it on stage.

Ah, good morrow Zac Efron.  Lovely to see you and those arms enjoying the California sunshine.

It’s that time of year again, movie buffs! Yep, that’s right. Another Valentine’s Day, another overtly romantic movie with a poster of the two beautiful lead actors in an embrace.

This year’s selection is an adaptation of a novel from the man who seems to have nothing but romantic bones in his body, Nicholas Sparks. Seriously, Sparks is like the romantic gift that keeps on giving.

The latest novel-turned-sappy-movie is Safe Haven, starring Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough. The pair of leads easily fit into the roster of Sparks-leads alumni including Amanda Seyfried, Mandy Moore, Channing Tatum, Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron, to name a few, but does the newest edition to the Nicholas Sparks movie collection have as much (pun intended) heart as the movies that came before it?

Critics weighed in, and according to them, the film is generally lackluster. But, in the end, it all depends on what the audience thinks. Meaning, don’t let the critics discourage you too much! Having said that, here’s a look at exactly what they had to say about the film:

Zac Efron is taking a leap from his romantic comedy and indie roots to star in the new Warner Bros. supernatural thriller The Falling.

The former Disney heartthrob is teaming up with Academy Award winning writer/producer/director Akiva Goldsman (Beautiful Mind, I Am Legend), in a cinematic departure from past teeny-bopper rom-coms like High School Musical and 17 Again. And word on the street is that Efron will also get a producing credit on the film.

And while details are scant — which just makes us all the more curious — we do know that the movie, which is in the very early stages of production, is being described as an “edgy thriller centering around an otherworldly being,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. And we can only hope that Efron is that other-wordly being.

The 25-year-old The Lucky One star stepped out of his comfort zone last fall, playing a sexually-charged paperboy, in well, The Paperboy alongside Nicole Kidman, but The Falling will mark his first lead role in a big studio thriller.
