Nothing could be less appealing than the promise of a weekend music festival deep in the (hot, dry) Coachella Valley, where the ticket holders don’t bathe and everyone’s off their rockers on heaven-knows-what.

We’ve all seen evidence of this in years past, with Vanessa Hudgens as the Grand Marshall and Paris Hilton as that aging fan who has no business dressing like such a hipster (*eyes Melanie Griffith in her pantaloons*).

Don’t get me wrong.  With the right line-up and a low occupancy, a music festival can be f-u-n.  However, judging from the pictures I’ve come across of Hudgens spinning around in circles, I don’t have the tolerance for such behavior.

In the words of Jack Donaghy: “Never go with a hippie [or in our case, hipster] to a second location.”

Salma Hayek’s done it three times. Demi Moore turned heads in 1996. And this past summer, Channing Tatum and his Magic Mike crew joined the club.

Whether it’s a sparkly ensemble or a pair of leather pants and a sexy bra — or in Tatum’s case, just a tie — Hollywood has stripped down on the big screen for many, many years, and Celebuzz is taking a look back at some of the best ever caught on film.

As Lola, Hayek donned a skimpy outfit and strutted her stuff on stage in the 2011 French drama Americano. The actress, now 46, took on the role some 15 years after mesmerizing George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino’s characters in the horror flick From Dusk Till Dawn. Hayek also pranced around as Serendipity in the 1999 picture Dogma, starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

In 2009, Jessica Biel took it all off in Powder Blue, in which she plays a single mother who dances to support her son, who is in a coma. The film, which only saw limited release, featured an all-star ensemble that included the late Patrick Swayze, Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta, Lisa Kudrow and Les Miserables’ Eddie Redmayne.

From Natalie Portman’s gloomy yet sexy performance in Closer to Jessica Alba’s leather-clad number in Sin City, these stars have demonstrated that disrobing on screen need not be tasteless or disturbing, but rather artistic and striking.

The cast of Gossip Girl isn’t new to the fashion world. Almost every cast member has been featured in a clothing or beauty campaign since the show’s beginning.

Penn Badgley, 25, is the latest star to be tagged as the face of a major fashion house. He stars in Alexander Wang’s Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear video alongside rappers A$AP Rocky and Diplo.

Penn’s girlfriend, Zoe Kravitz, 23, is very close with the designer and sat front row at his spring show last February. Unfortunately, both were at the Toronto Film Festival and were therefore unable to attend Wang’s Fall 2012 show.

Which other Gossip Girl stars has found success in fashion campaigns?

Newlywed Blake Lively, 25, has a roster of fashion campaigns up her sleeve. Her debut was for none other than Chanel, where she posed for Karl Lagerfeld’s camera and posed with handbags and accessories. Her latest campaign, however, is for the Gucci fragrance, Premiere.

The blonde stunner channels old Hollywood glamour in the shots.

Next up is Leighton Meester, 26, who appeared in Vera Wang’s fantastic fragrance, Love Struck. The singer-actress looks gorgeous in the romantic ads and claims she’s been a longtime fan of Wang’s.

Ed Westwick, 25, is a full-blown fashionista. He walked in the Philipp Plein fashion show in July 2012, was featured in Plein’s ad campaign, and also starred in the Kswiss print ads in 2011. It looks like Westwick is taking cues from Chuck Bass himself.

Both Jessica Szohr, 27, and Taylor Momsen, 19, have also been in advertisements for major fashion brands – OP and Madonna’s Material Girl line respectively.

Coachella is underway and celebs everywhere flocked to its famous Neon Carnival on Saturday night. Hosted by A|X Armani Exchange and T-Mobile, the annual bash was packed with famous faces.

On-and-off couple Emma Roberts and Chord Overstreet took their rekindled romance to the star-studded event. Around this time last year, the two lovebirds were seen smooching at the carnival — and it looks like this year was no different!

“Emma and Chord arrived together,” a party guest told Celebuzz. “They were kissing by the bar.”

Who else was spotted at the event?

A very shaggy-haired Penn Badgley was practically inseparable from his longtime girlfriend, Zoe Kravtiz.

“They were together entire night — riding rides and looked like two little kids in love,” our insider said.

Meanwhile, Hollywood hotties like Usher, Kellan Lutz, Jessica Szohr, Camilla Belle, Gerard Butler, Shenae Grimes, Emile Hirsch, Mark Salling, and Revenge‘s Christa B. Allen were all out to mingle with fellow concert attendees.

She stars in the No. 1 movie in the country and she’s on the heels of A-list fame, but that isn’t stopping The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence from speaking and doing as she pleases. 

The April issue of Rolling Stone magazine is helming her as “America’s Kick-Ass Sweetheart,” and after hearing her costars’ first encounters with the actress, we agree.

Her X-Men: First Class costar Zoe Kravitz – whose father Lenny Kravitz played Cinna in Hunger Games — disclosed that Jennifer was naked during their first hangout.

“I’d met her a few times, and she was like, ‘You should come over and we’ll hang out.’ So I go over to her apartment, and she opens the door in a towel. She’s like, ‘Come in, sorry, you’re early, I was about to shower.’ And she drops her towel and gets in the shower, and starts shaving her legs, totally naked. She was like, ‘Are we here yet? Is this OK?’ And I was like, ‘I guess we’re there!’”

Jen’s Hunger Games costar Woody Harrelson also had a bizarre first meeting with the actress as well, explaining, “I was on my bus and on my bus I have a yoga swing. Jennifer comes on, and she goes, ‘Hi, Woody, I’m J— is that a sex swing?’ Her first sentence to me.” 

 As for the impression she left on Peeta, aka Josh Hutcherson, they seem to have become fast friends.

“When I got cast, she called me up for one of those five-minute ‘Excited to work with you, blah, blah, blah’ things. The conversation started with her saying, ‘Think about a catheter going in – ouch!’ and then turns into a 45-minute rant about zombies and the apocalypse.”

Jen doesn’t reserve her candidness for her costars. After using the restroom during her Rolling Stone interview, the actress bragged, “I’m the fastest pee-er ever. I’m famous for it.”

It seems as though Penn Badgley and girlfriend Zoe Kravitz have ditched chilly New York and flown south for the holidays.

The Gossip Girl star and his actress girlfriend (and yes, she’s the daughter of Lenny) were spotted looking like serious lovebirds as they enjoyed the warm Miami weather. The two snuggled and canoodled in their South Beach pool, with Zoe looking slim in her two-piece bikini and Penn letting his long hair loose.

Badgley has been in New York City in recent months filming for Gossip Girl, and his over-the-top hair is likely linked to his upcoming role as musician Jeff Buckley in a biopic about the singer’s tragic life.

Zoe has been enjoying her time on Californication as well as in the smash hit X-Men: First Class, which hit it big at the box office in 2011.

With the cooler temperatures bearing down on New York City, it’s time to break out the fall-to-winter gear, and for new couple Penn Badgley and Zoe Kravitz, that means going lumberjack casual.

Badgley’s usual chic and fashionable Gossip Girl style was definitely not in play as he and Zoe made their way across a Manhattan street. With a plaid lined shirt, fancy man scarf and bushy hair, Penn mixed up his styles while Zoe went for straight-up hipster casual in a camel-colored fleece robe-jacket, t-shirt and military green skull cap.

Penn and Zoe’s relationship is still fairly fresh news among Hollywood couples, and she is the actor’s first major relationship since his split from Gossip co-star Blake Lively. As for Zoe, she’s previously dated actor Michael Fassbender.

From superheroes to super couple? Zoe Kravitz and X-Men: First Class co-star Michael Fassbender were spotted getting cozy as they took a stroll through New York City earlier this week, confirming reports that the two are more than just friendly co-stars.

Zoe, 22, and Michael, 34, reportedly started dating when they met on the set of X-Men, but they have kept their relationship quiet so that their new romance wouldn’t distract from their film. Michael plays a young Magneto in the new X-Men film while Zoe portrays Angel Salvadore.

The pair have reportedly bonded over their shared love of music and movies. Zoe has both music and movie royalty running through her veins as she is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. Hm, do you think mom and dad would approve of Zoe dating someone 12 years her senior?

Two stunning examples of second-generation show-bizzers joined forces in New York on Friday, as Emma Roberts and Zoe Kravitz teamed up to film Twelve.

Roberts, the 18-year-old neice of Julia Roberts, and Kravitz, the 20-year-old daughter of rocker Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, seemed to get along quite well, holding hands and whispering into each other’s ears.

During the shoot, Roberts occupied her mouth with a lollipop, perhaps to stave off nicotine cravings—our ZOOM feature reveals what appears to be a pack of ciggies tucked away in her dress.

A gritty drug drama, Twelve also stars Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford, rapper-turned-actor 50 Cent and Kiefer Sutherland.

Judging by the cast alone, it looks like Kiefer’s got yet another smash-hit on his hands.
