The pooch the Jonas Brothers siblings gave younger bro Nick for his 16th birthday, Elvis, was found to have ticks.

Ticks are ectoparasites (external parasites). In human form they may resemble this.

Of course, Nick being the upstanding young man that he is took poor Elvis to the vet Wednesday as soon as he noticed his new best friend had the bugs.

Nick named the golden retreiver after rock legends Elvis Presley and Elvis Costello, two rockers who never made a fuss about dating their fans...unlike the Jonas Bros.
