Nicole Really Ready to Give Up the Single Life?

Star magazine is reporting that Nicole Richie will settle down with her baby daddy Joel Madden, making their union official on the 29th of June in a lavish $2 million wedding.

The ceremony will take place on the lush Bel-Air estate of Richie's father, Lionel Richie. The celebration is rumored to include nine bridesmaids, and the theme for the shower is Pretty in Pink.

The nutrient-deprived socialite was recently awarded for the mothering efforts she has made in the months since giving birth.

Despite such high praise for her basic maternal instincts, rockin' Richie may not be in any hurry to give up being single and acting sexy at late-night Hollywood party events.

Most tellingly, the ideal mother was spotted by TMZ making a brief but wildly notable onstage appearance at a N.E.R.D. concert.

Perhaps no matter how much Nicole touches up those roots, she'll never really be able to hide her true colors.

Well, she's never going to be able to go back to the party scene now that she has a baby, so she might as well marry and settle down. It'll save her the pity later on.
