Someone may want to explain family planning to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

The toothpick-thin reality star and her rocker beau just had baby Harlow eight months ago, but they're already thinking about having more "if it happens." Don't they know they can control these things? (Well, most people can, anyway.)

In an interview conducted for Extra's 15th season premiere, Richie, speaking on the topic of more children, said, “We’re just enjoying every day. And if it happens, it happens.”

The socialite's life has seemingly benefitted from the introduction of little Harlow. Nicole was once a wayward party girl and now she's a hot mama. Maybe more kids will be good for the Richie-Madden clan—provided they stay together.
