Nicole Richie and Harlow Madden: Shopping Up a Storm
Nicole Richie is in New York City with daughter Harlow Madden for Fashion Week, and there is no way in heck these two ladies are going to spend time in the Big Apple without doing a little shopping.
Potential reality TV returnee Richie and daughter were out shopping in the wind and rain yesterday as a security guard shielded them with an umbrella.
Splash News reports that glamour mom Nicole has also been looking at properties in the area. Which seems to be a popular activity for celebs these days.
And what was dad doing as his girls did some retail immersion?
Nicole’s man (and Harlow’s daddy) Joel Madden attended the MSN Wonderwall sponsored Children Mending Hearts event last night, which featured Ben Affleck as a guest speaker and focused on the problems of children in the Congo.
Madden reflected on his own family in relation to the event’s focus, according to the Press Association.
“I have a woman and child—two girls, you know—so it’s important to me. I love my girls, and every woman and child, especially when I see first-hand—when I was in Africa seeing it… it’s like looking at your own family and you just wanna do something,” Madden said.
