Joel Madden and Nicole Richie hosted UNICEF's annual Light The Night Event on Saturday night in Beverly Hills, California.
Nicole and Joel, who was named a UNICEF Ambassador in July, switched on the lights at the Beverly Hills Snowflake Lighting Ceremony, where guests were also treated to a performance by singer Kreesha Turner.
The charitable couple also jointly formed the Richie Madden Children's Foundation earlier this year. Nicole has definetly come a long way in the past year—the same can't be said for her former BFF, Paris Hilton, and Joel's brother, Benji Madden. Now that's a whole 'nother story.
