Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene Are Quitters!
No…not Twilight, silly!
Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed, however, are trying to quit smoking cigarettes!
As everyone knows, the cast of New Moon loves their cherished smoking breaks, but it’s not a great look to be showing off to their millions of fans around the World.
E! is reporting that the two are trying to become “better role models for their fans.”
A friend close to Nikki spills, “Everyone on the cast smokes, and they are all trying to quit because they are on Twilight and know they are in the public eye.”
The ladies “know they are role models for little kids,” says the pal. “If there are a ton of paparazzi photos of them smoking, that’s not a positive image.”
How are they kicking the habit, which is well-known to be pretty dang tough? SmokeStiks.
“SmokeStiks look like those fake cigarettes actors use in plays,” says a tester. “There’s no smoke; it just lights up when you puff.”
These bad boys don’t come cheap—almost $100 for the starter kit.
Are you glad to see that some of the cast members are trying to quit the nasty habit? We sure are!

Well, that’s cool that they are thinking about being better role models, though I don’t mind it that they smoke. Of course it would be better if they all stopped and think about their health, I mean we all wish the best to all the cast of New Moon. Especially you Rob, hope u r well.

Well That’s great! Honestly i think smoking is A bad habit that you should quit because it shortens your life however if celebrities do smoke its there like and there business and if your dumb enough to copy them because you think its “cool” well then that’s just sad

I´ve never seen her smoking, not even when they were all smoking, she was standing next to the smoking Kellan and for herself she wasnt. It´s good they quit, or at least try. :)
I also didn’t know Ashley smoked??? Anyways…I think it’s awesome if this article is true, and even better if others of the cast follow suit. Smoking is a personal choice, but how great if they do quit!
Let’s speak the truth -FACTS- smoking is just plain unhealthy. It is sad to me that people still see it as cool or sexy. For some people, the look of puffing the cig is attractive, and they are entitiled to their opinion. I guess I can’t get past seeing it as puffing the death stick. As a nursing student, I once held a smoker’s lung in my hands when visiting the pathology lab. Trust me….it’s anything but cool or sexy!
Kristen S shoul quit too…. she is always smoking on every papz picture!

Smoking is totally not cool.
I don’t think the smoking should matter! They are adults and everyone is taught that smoking is bad! I know it is bad but I think he looks sexy in the pictures where he is smoking and I am not a smoker! Either way, I think if parents are teaching their kids that smoking is bad and why it is bad they are not going to just light up because they see a celebrity doing it!

i agree with the part that smoking is not cool, but even if they did smoke that doesnt mean that they will get lung cancer, one they arent that old so prob. havent been smoking for that long and if they were to quit then there lungs will get healthier too. my aunt smoked for a long time, but she quit and she is now perfectly healthy (knock on wood lol)
good for them! i’m proud of them. i hope robert and kristen learn from them and give up smoking as well!
Ashley greene doesn´t smoke. so why say people that she does. only Ashley and taylor and a few more doesn´t smoke.

I think thats really good of them, cause they can smoke if they want and its up to them, but they are thinking of their fans now. They are both ausome!!
That’s so cool believe it or not they are a big influence to young people, especially fans of the Twilight Saga. I’m a smoker myself, also trying to quit, and I hope they can accomplish it. It is so hard to stop!
Kristen needs to quit
All of them should make it like a little “cast project” to quit smoking. I quit smoking with my four friends and it was a lot easier than doing it alone!! It took about a month to kick the bad habit. It’s a lot more fun when you have a little support group backing you up. You back each other up too! I really do think it’s a good thing, what they’re doing. I know, people smoke when they’re stressed, I did too. I suggest yoga, lots of exercise, sunlight, gum, hard-candy, instrumental music and kickboxing really helped me.
15 minutes of fame my A$$! I’ll never be sick of Susan Boyle, but I’ll tell you who I am sick of hearing about. Tiger Woods (that story got old after the first day), the Kardashians, Jon & Kate and their litter, The bumble boy, Taylor Swift, Adam Lambert, and all the other talentless attention whoooorrreeesss who’s 15 minutes should be up.
Susan Boyle can rock my world any day. Can’t get enough of her and if anything she is under reported on.
So stick that up your goose and cook it gossip girls!
