'Nine' Is a Lucky Number for Daniel Day Lewis

Here's the first promo photo from the film adaption of the hit musical Nine. The big-screen version stars Daniel Day-Lewis.

Nicole Kidman (soon to be a cinematic sex change), lady in red Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Sophia Loren, Kate Hudson and Fergie are among the lovely ladies bedeviling Day-Lewis.

But one potential temptation to Daniel has been removed.

A CGI-crafted veil has been added to cover Fergie's lady area in the promo pic.

In the original photo, Fergie (who plays a chubby hooker in the movie) had opened her legs to show off her character's agility and choice of lingerie.

On second thought, according to Gawker, producers decided to veil Fergie's beautiful mystery.

Are Weinstein & Co. backing off from what they bargained for?
