Florida TV Station Says No Way to New Osbournes Show

Sorry, Florida-based Ozzy fans—or at least some of you in the panhandle area of the Sunshine State. Looks like you'll have to wait for the Osbournes' new variety show to come out on DVD if you want to catch the madness.

The Miami Herald reports that Fox affiliate WPGX, located in Panama City, won't be airing the premiere of Osbournes: Reloaded tonight because it's "inappropriate."

After viewing a six-minute preview of the show, the station's general manager, David Cavileer, claims that the profanity on the show is still obvious, despite the bleeping of the naughty words, and he's wary of running the show right after American Idol, which is popular with younger audiences.

Cavileer goes on to note that he would have been happy to air Reloaded after 10 p.m., rather than its scheduled air date of 8:20 p.m. Instead, WPGX's viewership will have to settle for a Simpsons re-run. D'oh!

Readers, have your say in the comments section: DO you think the station is over-reacting? And will you watch Osbournes: Reloaded tonight?
