Paris Hilton‘s new TV reality series, Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, debuted this week on MTV. 

Why on Earth does Paris need a new best friend when she is rich, beautiful and oh-so-talented? Well, apparently, money doesn’t buy everything.

Her former best friends include Kim Kardashian and Nicole Richie, but Paris hasn’t been seen with either of them in what seems like ages.

When she’s out and about shopping the latest fashions or hitting the newest hot spots, she’s usually riding solo or with long-time boyfriend Benji Madden.

She needs girl time! Who blames her?
