Benji Madden, 29, isn't the only person who isn't feeling the love for Paris Hilton these days.

The New York Post reports that, while attending the 16th birthday party for designer Christian Audigier's daughter Crystal Rock over the weekend, the heiress/reality TV star was booed by partygoers so badly that she nearly wept.

"Hilton was supposed to introduce the Pussycat Dolls," the Post's account reads. "But when Audigier took the stage and yelled to the crowd, 'Do you want to see Paris Hilton?' our spy said, 'The entire room—which had just cheered when they thought Britney Spears was coming—booed loudly. Paris was practically in tears and left without taking the stage.'"

Could the 27-year-old sex tape veteran's media overexposure finally have saturated the general public?

Or is there just something inherently unlikeable about Hilton. After all, this is the same woman who, despite having buckets of family cash, is forced to hold a contest on national TV to find a friend.

Well, like they say, it's lonely at the top.
