Is Paula Abdul finally ready to make her Dancing With the Stars dreams come true with a tango routine?

Not quite. The occasionally volatile American Idol judge was in high spirits Wednesday night after dining at Los Angeles restaurant Koi. As she signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans, one admirer gave Abdul a couple of roses, which she whimsically clenched between her teeth as she entered her car.

Perhaps not the most traditional dessert, but then Paula Abdul is not the most traditional gal.

Hopefully the romantic gift from her admiring fan didn't leave Abdul feeling all thorny.
