Paula Abdul May Not Be Returning To ‘American Idol’
No, this can’t be happening!
Paula Abdul may not be returning to the next season of American Idol if the producers don’t throw down the big bucks.
Her manager David Sonenberg tells the LA Times, “Very sadly, it does not appear that she’s going to be back on ‘Idol.’”
He also revealed that although the ninth season is set to begin taping August 6, David doesn’t even have a proposal for a new contract from FremantleMedia and 19 Entertainment, the production companies behind the show.
He went on, “I find it under these circumstances particularly unusual; I think unnecessarily hurtful. I find it kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful that they haven’t stepped up and said what they want to do.”
The show’s host, Ryan Seacrest, recently recieved a huge payday for signing a 3-year-contract with the show. $45 million to be exact.

I remembered when she was hammered durning the tryouts and during the show and I lost respect for her after than. Paula, you can get drunk or high any time you want- but why do it while on national tv for everyone to see? You can tell she was all f*cked up- her eyes were glassy and red and her speech was slured so bad that people were talking about it for weeks. Her behavior was so strange that there was no hiding the fact that she had some serious problems .
finally. Paula has been steadily becoming an absolute waste of airtime with her nonsense critiques and unintelligible commentary. this is one of the best things that could happen to the show….maybe people would start taking it seriously again..
Who cares? Paula sucks! I quit watching Idol a long time ago because she wouldn’t keep her stupid mouth shut while Simon was talking. He is the only one worth listening to and I won’t waste my time listenig to idiots like her or Randy.
paula makes that freakin show. it would be goddam boring without her! singing! haha. its not That entertaining to watch singing. PAULA is entertaining, the most entertaining person on freakin television. there is NOBODY like her. fox would commit suicide if they dont renew her contract

I think Paula should come back just for sh*ts and giggles, as she is the only one who gets up and dances and claps with her finger spread apart just like a 8 month old..how cute!
Hmmm..yah..she would add the “chatter” influence (chatter from bloggers such as us)…and if she doesn’t go back to Idol, she can make more bigger pieces of jewelry and sell it on HSN or QVC or E! (Ryan’s channel..lol).
