And the award for best onstage kiss goes to...Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson!

The Fall Out Boy bassist and his wife introduced alt-rock darlings Kings of Leon at the MTV Australia Awards, held in Sydney on Friday night, and were apparently so turned-on by the experience that they practically swallowed each others' faces in front of the audience, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

"Sorry, we haven't seen each other," Simpson told the audience after unlocking her lips from her husband's. "We're going to go and find some quiet time and fornicate somewhere."

Oh, you silver-tongued devil!

But that wasn't the only time Wentz scored during the event. His band picked up a Best Rock Video award for their song "I Don't Care." Other winners included Pink, who nabbed Best Video honors for "So What," Katy Perry, who was named Breakthrough Artist, and Britney Spears, who snagged a Best Moves trophy.

Also on hand for the event were Hills brunette Audrina Patridge, who did red-carpet hosting duties, and Vanilla Ice, who performed his 1990 hit "Ice Ice Baby." To apparent audience approval.

Australia's a strange place.
