Pete Wentz Makes a Great Fake Dad

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are expecting their first child months from now, but already the maybe-gay emo musician is seeing what it feels like to hold a bundle of joy, using a pillow as a dummy baby.
Paparazzi, eager for shots of the newlyweds, marauded the pair at a California Pizza Kitchen. In a jokey attempt to shame the shutterbugs, Pete asked if they would watch his pillow baby while it waited for its young parents to finish their meal. He then put the bundle of whatever in the trunk of his car.
As it turns out, a fake baby is a pretty good decoy when trying to slip the press, because Ashlee and Pete were able to leave the restaurant unnoticed.
Hey! Babies are good for something.
I bet their kid is going to be so cute that it’ll be able to set strangers’ heads aflame with a simple glance.
I donno if he’ll be such a great dad. We’ll have to wait and see!
