In the days leading up to Barack Obama's confirmation as 44th President of the United States, Washington, D.C., was invaded by an army of Hollywood's elite.

They did what Hollywood elite do best—they partied!

Stars like Anne Hathaway hit up the Creative Coalition's 2009 Inaugural Ball, while Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony did the red carpet at the Artists and Athletes Alliance event at Inaugural Honors ServiceNation.

Meawhile, Sarah Silverman, Jessica Alba and Hayden Panettiere were snapped at the hot-ticket Huffington Post Pre-Inaugural Ball.
