Jenny Jones

While this show had a fairly long, successful run on television, any list of failed talk shows would be lacking if it didn't cite Jenny Jones for a show that actually contributed to the death of a guest -- a mentally unstable man who was set up on Jenny's show to learn that another man had a crush on him, several days after the taping, murdered that same man. The show was sued for $25M by the family of the victim.
