Before baring her body on the June cover of SHAPE magazine this summer, Malin Akerman "hit the bikini-panic button." Focusing on her diet and fitness routine, the 34 year old actress ramped up her regular workouts and started eating lots of veggies. "I've never been on a fad diet or tried one of those crazy cleanses," she told the magazine. "I think they just mess up your system. I believe in eating as nutritiously as I can all the time - not just before I'm putting on a swimsuit." Though it can be hard for her to keep a consistent fitness schedule, the Rock of Ages star likes to start her day by doing yoga poses before a 45-minute hike in a park near her L.A. home. When she's not hitting the trail, the actress burns calories at a new bike studio in West Hollywood. "I've become a little bit obsessed with with something called SoulCycle, and it's basically a dance class on a bicycle," she says of the indoor cycling workout that combines high-energy music and inspirational coaching. "I've never sweat so much in my life - it's only 45 minutes and then you're out. It's my favorite way to go."
