This is sad but true. Walmart came in and knocked our town’s tax base right out from under it. We now have a town with so many empty stores, and people moving out right and left because our city’s services have gone sky high..no tax base to draw money necessary to the town’s existance. And very shortly, Walmart will likely leave us, since it’s bled us down to the level that it can’t really support it’s store any more. What a shame.
