2013 Golden Globes: Best TV Drama Actress Nominees

Michelle Dockery, of PBS' Downton Abbey, would also be a good way for the Globe voters to recognize fresh talent that's gone unrewarded elsewhere. She was nominated for an Emmy last fall for playing the hot-tempered Lady Mary but didn't win. This is her first Globe nomination. Plus, Downton Abbey is hotttt these days -- and not just by PBS standards. And she's the only foreigner on the list; as a Brit, she should be catnip to the anglophiles of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the group that votes for the Globes. That said, she's still up against some formidable competition in Connie Britton and Claire Danes. Odds for victory: Pretty good.
