Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Terminator and Terminator 2 are two aren’t necessarily a package deal. In fact, while perfectly paired, they look and feel like vastly different films. Sure, Arnold got his start playing the killer, time-traveling cyborg in James Cameron’s classic sci-fi actioner, but it wasn’t until the second film that his model T-800 death machine became something of a character. In this rare example of a sequel that surpasses the original, Terminator 2 gave the machine a soul in a way that allowed Arnold not only to mercilessly kill dozens of dudes, but to be, well, loveable while doing it.
