Hey, do you have a clue how expensive kids are? And 8 of them? There’s almost no job she could work which would pay for supporting that many kids without getting social services. And forget about college. Jon isn’t paying squat, so it’s all up to her. So the kids work on a reality show. Big deal. Who do you think plays kids on TV anyway, but real kids? Should they all just go home? Ron Howard was a child actor, now he’s a successful, talented director. The kids get experiences and go places they would never otherwise be able to afford. And money is deposited in trust accounts for their future.

And so what if she had science to boost her odds of having kids,she is dealing with the consequences. She found a way to support her and her kids without needing to rely on anyone. Now that is what a good mother does. She is building them a future. And just to be clear I am not saying she is perfect, no one is. Having come from a family of 9 kids, Yes, I know how expensive they are. Do YOU have a clue? My Dad works and supports the family, my mom never had to work. And no my dad doesn’t make a lot of money either. He has a very small landscape company. He makes less than $50,000 a year. My family doesn’t have lots of money but they don’t want for anything either.

And ALSO. I can’t stand Kate Gosselin, but I do really respect her for carrying all 6 babies to term. I think that the only reason she is the annoying way she is is, and the only reason her and Jon’s marriage fell apart, is BECAUSE of the tv show. If that had never happened Jon and Kate would probably still be happily married, she would probably have a lot less money but still get by, not get to do all the traveling, and be a MUCH happier family.

@guest – Go see a therapist. You have anger issues. And no she hasn’t blown $$ on herself. Tummy tuck, donated – Makeover, (including hair extensions) – donated. You people don’t read and obviously didn’t watch the show from the start. Her only problem is that she was a perfectionist and was always about being organized and Jon seemed too laid back for her. They were not a good match to begin with. She always did what she thought was best because she knew she would be suffering to raise 8 kids on a meager salary of 80k in this day and age.
