Just becuase you go thru a midlife crisis (at 34???? LOL) doesnt mean you divorce your wife AND your children. He feels he missed out, so now he has to make up for lost time? He & Kate were once in love. As in most relationships, the honeymoon ends. As it will with Hailey. He has stated he loves Hailey more than he EVER loved Kate. So why in the hell then do you allow Drs implant EIGHT embryos in your wife ( & lets see if they will ALL take or just the ONE more we wanted) after already having twins?
All divorces get nasty. Unfortunately for them, they are in the spotlight, so it gets magnified. Never once in an episode did I see them go to counseling...individual, marital OR family. I put blame on TLC. They should have made it available to them.....but I guess TLC saw more $$$$ in a scandle than trying to help a family of 10 get through a rough patch. Heaven forbid they show other families out there that there IS a solution to family/marital problems. What happens when these children see old episodes of this show & see the mud slinging that good ole Kate is protecting them from now?
