Inside Elvis Presley’s Los Angeles ‘Graceland’
Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s marital home was sold in December 2012 to Hard Rock Café founder Peter Morton for $9.8 million. The property, built in 1958 and purchased by the Presleys in 1967, includes four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a media room with floor-to-ceiling windows and other features spread across some 1.18 acres.
Morton, who had plans build a new house on the Trousdale Estates property, might have to go back to the drawing board -- redesign, perhaps? -- as the house is protected under Beverly Hills’ historic preservation ordinance.
