I think the movie came out after the deadline for this years oscars. so maybe next years…and the only thing I think it would ever maybe get nominated for is best original song for “Let Me Sign”…the song is great musically and also fits well into the scene where it is used. The academy will probably completely snub it altogether to make a “statement” or by the time the next noms roll around(if it made the deadline for those) it will have been forgotten. I’m gonna check the deadlines for the oscars. I’m curious now.

it did make the deadline…so yeah…it got snubbed. Why would 2 songs from slumdog millionaire get noms…couldnt they throw one Pattinson’s way? Dude has some serious talent! Well maybe New Moon will do better all around…I hope rob has a song or two on that soundtrack as well.
