I don't mean to offend but lots of people with full time jobs own dogs, I'm sure he can afford a dog walker if need be. I think it's a good idea to at least get your dog used to being alone for part of the day (to avoid the dog developing separation anxiety if you do have to be apart from it for any length of time). And I can imagine that Bear would probably prefer this outcome to being stuck in the shelter he was in (or worse, being euthanised because he wasn't adopted in time).
It is really great to finally see Rob with BEAR. Who takes care of the dog during the day while Rob works? OR does he stay on the balcony all day?
