Todd Gilhchrist: Senior Film Editor: My favorite scary movie is Evil Dead 2. I saw it when I was 16 and was entirely unsure what to expect -- I was really nervous about being scared by it. What is remarkable about it is that it's genuinely scary and then blindingly funny, within the same scene, and sometimes within the same moment. Sam Raimi is a genius at wringing real sympathy out of silly characters and scenarios, and then creating real intensity out of action choreography better suited for a Three Stooges movie.
