seriously i think the book was based on his character as damon...sexy,seductive,mysterious,brooding,cool,pretends not to care but he does,passionate,playful,domineering,possessive,enigmatic and crooked smile and the sexy gray eyes to die for..oh!it really is him,..i hope he gets the part.

Height?, the man is 5'9", too short and small boned.
Neither Ian or Henry are, or will ever be Christian Grey for me, one is expressionless, the other does not even fit the description of the character, at all. But then I kind of figure the powers that be already know this. There are several others who would do the role justice. I am hoping that this film will not be ruined by giving into crazed fans.

He is so who I have visualizing through all of the books! He is dark, mysterious, witty, fun, protective, sexy.....and those eyes..............I think alongside Alexis Bledel you couldn't go wrong!!!! The movie would be perfect!! ;-)

He doesn't seem authoritative. Not a dominant at all.
You would know yhst Ian is perfect for this if you are a vampire diaries fan. His acting has the potential for what he can give 50 fans on screen. He is naturally beautiful and has the attitude to fit the role. Definetly a wise choice if they were to cast him as Christian. As far as Anna goes I would love to see Nina D (his real life girlfriend and main girl on vampire diaries) but she is right to say she didn't think it was a good idea and that everyone would be reminded of Damon and Elena on VD. So my vote would be for Lucy Hale as Anna. Her performance on pretty little liars seems that she could pull this off. She can play innocent but she can play naughty too. They are both stunning people.

He is the best pick of those listed, not too old, he is in great shape for the "hip" scenes, the eyes and jaw. But I think "Justin Hartley should be the role. He is new and not yet seen in a type (vampire). I do love Ian and all others fail next to him, but for this role Justin is the way to go. Copper hair and all!

Ian as Christian yes :) I think Crystal Reed (the girl from Teen Wolf) would be lovely for the part of Ana. Her look is soft and naturally pretty, doesn't need all that makeup.

Its so strange...I've seen a few episodes of the V. Diaries and when I first saw Damon (Ian), I thought, hmmm..creepy but cute. I watched a second episode and thought hmmm...this guy has some issues, but theres something about him that makes me care for him. If he can pull that off playing a vampire, he can certainly be my Christian.
