Florence Welsh has canceled two upcoming European festival performances due to problems with her voice. In a series of tweets, the eponymous Florence + the Machine songstress revealed she "felt something snap" in her throat and has been instructed not to perform to "avoid permanent damage." The singer is just the latest in a long string of artists whose careers have been sidetracked because of vocal injury.
